노인의 자원봉사참여 동기충족이 생활만족 및 지속의지에 미치는 영향 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to identify motivation fulfillment for volunteer activity of the elderly, and to examine the impact of it on their life satisfaction and intention to continue volunteering. A total of 300 the elderly who are volunteering in community welfare centers and senior welfare centers in Busan were interviewed by mail and 246 cases were used in the analysis. The major findings are as follows: First, study participants’ motivations to volunteer were quitely fulfilled. Second, the self-esteem motivation fulfillment for volunteer activity had a positive(+) impact on their life satisfaction and the career development motivation fulfillment for volunteer activity had a negative(-) impact on their life satisfaction. Third, the value, recognition and self-esteem motivation fulfillment for volunteer activity had respectively a positive(+) impact on their intention to continue volunteering. With these findings, the practical implications for the management of the elderly’ volunteers were discussed.
