유치원 조직문화에 대한 교사의 인식 연구 = The Organizational Culture of Kindergartens as Perceived by Kindergarten Teachers

The purpose of this study was to investigate the extent to which kindergarten teachers recognize the organizational culture of 19 Korean kindergartens in Daegu Metropolitan City, and to examine if any difference exists in the perception depending on a teacher``s career and educational background. A total of 203 kindergarten teachers participated in this study. Organizational culture was examined by using the tool of early childhood education institute invented by Dong-Choon Kim(1998). The data from the survey were analyzed by two-way ANOVA, descriptive statistic analysis, and the Scheffe test. The results were following. First, the organizational culture of kindergartens as perceived by kindergarten teachers was above average especially by kindergarten teachers. Second, teachers who have more than 10 years of teaching experience appeared to have a higher perception than other teachers the sub-variables of ``value and ideology`` in implicit culture, teachers who have a graduate diploma appeared to have a higher perception than other teachers the sub-variables of ``rules`` in implicit culture. Third, teachers who have more than 10 years of teaching experience and a graduate diploma appeared to have a higher perception than other teachers the sub-variables of ``communication`` in extrinsic culture.
