사회인지 진로이론 관점에서의 대학생의 진로목표 추구활동 분석 = Analysis of College Student's Career Actions based on the Social Cognitive Career Theory

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 사회인지 진로이론의 기본 가정들을 토대로 대학생의 진로목표 추구활동에 직업적 자기효능감과 결과기대 및 직업흥미가 어떤 영향을 미치는지 그리고 이들 변인 간의 관련성이 어떠한지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대학생 567명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 531명의 자료가 분석에 사용되었다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 직업적 자기효능감, 결과기대, 직업흥미는 진로목표 추구활동에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직업적 자기효능감은 결과기대에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 직업적 자기효능감은 직업흥미에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 결과기대는 직업흥미에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 진로목표 추구활동을 종속변인으로 한 모델 적합도를 알아보는 선형회귀분석 결과, 직업적 자기효능감, 결과기대, 직업흥미 모두가 포함된 모델의 적합도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 직업적 자기효능감과 결과기대 및 직업흥미가 높을수록 진로목표 추구활동이 많아진다는 것을 의미한다. 또한 직업적 자기효능감이 높을수록 결과기대와 직업흥미도 높으며, 결과기대가 높을수록 직업흥미도 높다는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구의 제한점 및 후속 연구 방향을 논의에서 다루었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the variables that affect career choice actions of college students using the regression analysis. The present study used the career choice model of social cognitive career theory(Lent et al., 1994) as a theoretical model. The career choice model mainly predicts that self-efficacy and outcome expectation are significant predictors of interests, and interests affect the choice goals and career choice actions. This research has been administered for the subjects of 531 college students(248 males, 283 females). To find main predictors of career choice actions, regression analysis was performed. The results showed that occupational self-efficacy, outcome expectation, and interests were significant predictors. In regression analysis of career choice actions as a dependent variable with occupational self-efficacy, outcome expectation, and interests as independent variables, the goodness of fit of each linear model(coefficient of determination, R2) was .215, .066, and .217. By comparing the observed values of the dependent variable(career choice actions) to the values predicted by the each regression equation, the linear model with all 3 independent variables showed the best goodness of fit to the data. In the multiple regression analysis with interests as a dependent variable, social value of occupation and self-efficacy were positively significant predictors. In a linear regression analysis with outcome expectations as a dependent variable, academic self efficacy was positively significant predictor. In a linear regression analysis with interest as a dependent variable, academic self efficacy was positively significant predictor. In a last linear regression analysis with interest as a dependent variable, outcome expectations was positively significant predictor. The limitations and implications of the study were discussed.
