사회인지진로이론적 관점에 근거한 국내 진로발달연구의 동향 분석: 대학생 연구를 중심으로 = The literature review on career development in Korean college students based on social-cognitive career perspective

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 사회인지진로이론을 토대로 하여 우리나라 대학생의 진로발달 및 선택에 대한 국내 연구의 동향을 분석하고 향후 연구 과제를 제시하였다. 이를 위해 2000년 이후 국내에서 이루어진 연구 52편을 수집하여, 발간연도, 연구대상, 연구주제, 연구도구 및 연구방법, 분석방법을 중심으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째 대부분의 연구가 대학생 전 학년을 대상으로 이루어져 특정 학년을 구분하여 실시한 연구는 미미하였고, 여성 공학도나 장애대학생 등을 연구한 논문들이 연구되고 있었으나 전반적으로는 좀 더 다양한 대상을 연구할 필요가 있었다. 둘째, 사회인지 진로이론의 여러 구인 중에서 자기효능감이나 진로장벽, 진로준비행동 등 몇 가지의 변인에만 집중되는 경향이 있었고, 측정도구 역시 1-2개만이 사용되고 있었다. 셋째, 전체 52편의 연구 중 20편만이 진로모형에 대해 연구하고 있었고, 이 중에서도 선택모형에 대한 연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌다. 넷째, 국내의 사회인지진로이론에서도 자기효능감이 결과기대, 흥미, 진로성숙 및 결정의 선행변인으로 작용하고 있었으며, 진로장벽 역시 목표, 진로활동 선택에 직․간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 국내연구의 적용 가능성을 시사했다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

We reviewed the literature on career development and choice in Korean college students based on the social-cognitive perspective as well as suggested some future directions regarding this topic. Fifty-two peer-reviewed journal articles that were published from 2000 to 2012 were included in our analysis. Each study was analyzed using the following criteria: target population, research variables, measures, research design, and the method of data analysis. The results showed that most of the studies did not differentiate the target population's year in college, although very few studies targeted minority population such as female engineer majors or students with disability. Secondly, most studies were focused on a limited number of social-cognitive variables such as self-efficacy, career barriers, and career preparation behaviors.
Measures were also limited to a few popular ones. Thirdly, only 20 out of 52 studies used the career theoretical model to study the variables. Although the future research on this topic requires more diversity in the research variables of interest and methodology, this literature review found that social-cognitive theory can be applied usefully in understanding career-related phenomena among Korean college students.
