개인능력, 가족환경, 학교환경 변인이 청소년의 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향력 비교 = Comparison of Influences of Variables on Subjective Happiness in the Youth: Personal Capability, Family Environment and School Environment

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

A very low feeling of happiness that Korean adolescents experience is a significant social problem as it can affect their life cycle negatively. Therefore, this study classified related significant influencing variables on subjective happiness of adolescents into personal capability, family environment, and school environment variables with an intention to identify the most important influencing variable on the happiness of adolescents. To do so, this study compare influential differences of personal ability, family environment, and school environment variables through hierarchical regression analysis under regulations of demographical characteristic and family characteristic. This study used <Optional investigation on children>, an optional investigation of the 7th investigation of Korean Welfare Panel Study, 2012, and the subjects included 264 male and 248 female junior high and high school students. For a main finding of this research, it was identified that a variable that makes the most influence on objective happiness of adolescents is the school environment variable. It was also verified that the individual ability variable and family environment variable make significant influence on happiness of adolescents at the same time. The implication of this study is that the influence of personal capability, family environment, and school environment need to be taken into consideration for happiness of adolescents, but the importance of school environment needs to be focused on more than anything. Therefore, the necessity of improving school environment is being brought up preferentially.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국의 청소년이 경험하는 매우 낮은 행복감은 생애주기에 걸쳐 부정적으로 작용할 수 있으므로 중요한 사회 문제이다. 이에 본 연구는 청소년의 주관적 행복감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 관련 변인을 개인능력, 가족환경, 학교환경 변인으로 구분하고 이 가운데 청소년의 행복에 가장 중요한 변인은 무엇인지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 인구학적 특성과 가구특성을 통제한 상태에서 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 개인능력, 가족환경, 학교환경 변인의 영향력의 차이를 비교하였다. 2012년 한국복지패널 7차 조사의 부가조사인 <아동 부가조사>를 활용하였으며, 대상자는 중학교와 고등학교에 재학 중인 남학생 264명, 여학생 248명이었다. 연구의 주요 결과로서, 청소년의 주관적 행복감에 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 변인은 학교환경 변인으로 나타났다. 동시에 개인능력 변인과 가족환경 변인도 청소년의 행복에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구의 함의는 청소년의 행복에 대한 학교환경의 중요성에 대해 보다 주목하면서 개인능력과 가족환경, 학교환경의 영향을 모두 고려해야 한다는 것이다.
