        지방공무원들의 지식공유 의도에 관한 영향요인 연구­Answer Tree 분석을 이용하여­

        This study is analyzed by decision tree to explain impacts of knowledge sharing intention in local government officials. To be aim of this study, one is classified organizational and management factor, relative factors, characteristics of knowledge, and application IT in impacts of knowledge sharing through examination of preceded study. It is created the target variable with the impacts of knowledge sharing intention and the predictor variables with factors what these are classified, is used the CART algorism of SPSS Answer Tree program to analysis this conceptual modeling. A result of analysis is classified and identified that the knowledge sharing intention is rational organization culture in organizational and management factors, trust in members of relative factors, obviousness and usefulness in the characteristics of knowledge. The implications of this study for facilitate knowledge sharing is suggested what one should have offered of learning opportunity to learn for knowledge sharing, building and application of knowledge community intra-organization.

        한국 대학생의 지식혼돈에 따른 미래의 지식활용 차이 예측의 시계열적 비교 분석

        The development of the knowledge information system is increasing the symptoms that people refuse to remember. There is also a growing debate about whether to remember knowledge. This study investigated the preference of memorizing knowledge and finding knowledge. We predicted the use, effect, and expectation of ease of use of knowledge utilization that will appear in the future among preference groups. We analyzed whether there is a difference between the predicted expectations of knowledge utilization in the future. The first study was conducted in October 2014. This is the second study. We studied what changes were made in comparison with the first study. As a result, it was found that 1) there is no difference in broadening the diversity of knowledge utilization at future time, 2) expectation of the effect of knowledge utilization, and 3) ease of continuous knowledge creation. The results of this study suggest that it is important to provide a basis for discussing whether it is good to remember knowledge. 지식정보시스템의 발달로 사람들이 기억하는 것을 거부하는 증상이 커지고 있다. 또한 지식을 기억해야 하는 가에 대한 논란도 커지고 있다. 본 연구는 기억하는 지식과 찾는 지식에 대한 선호도 조사를 하였다. 선호 집단 간에 미래에 나타날 지식 활용의 용도, 효과, 용이성에 대한 기대를 예측하였다. 이러한 미래에 나타날 지식 활용에 대한 예측된 기대가 집단 간의 차이를 보이는지 분석하였다. 1차 연구는 2014년 10월에 진행하였다. 이번 연구는 2차 연구이다. 1차 연구와 비교하여 어떤 변화가 있는지 연구하였다. 결과적으로 대학생의 지식 습득 선호도에 따라서 1)미래 시점에서 지식 활용의 다양성을 넓히는 것은 차이가 없고, 2)지식 활용의 효과를 기대하는 것과 3)지식의 지속적인 창출이 용이성에는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 지식을 기억하는 것이 좋은 것인지를 논의할 수 있는 기초를 마련한 점이 중요하다고 할 수 있다.

      • Case-based reasoning approach to cognitive map-driven tacit knowledge management

        Knowledge is at the heart of knowledge management. In literature, a lot of studies have been suggested covering the role of knowledge in improving the performance of management. However, there are few studies about investigating knowledge itself in the arena of knowledge management. Knowledge circulating in an organization may be explicit or tacit. Until now, literature in knowledge management shows that it has mainly focused on explicit knowledge. On the other hand, tacit knowledge plays an important role in the success of knowledge management. It is relatively hard to formalize and reuse tacit knowledge. Therefore, research proposing the explication and reuse of tacit knowledge would contribute significantly to knowledge management research. In this sense, we propose using cognitive map as a main vehicle of formalizing tacit knowledge, and case-based reasoning as a tool for storing cognitive map-driven tacit knowledge in a form of frame-typed cases, and retrieving appropriate tacit knowledge from case base according to a new problem. Our proposed methodology was applied to a credit analysis problem in which decision-makers need tacit knowledge to assess whether a firm under consideration is healthy or not. Experiment results showed that our methodology for tacit knowledge management can provide decision makers with robust knowledge-based support.

      • Empirical study to explore relationships among emotions, competition, and people’s knowledge sharing intentions in virtual communities

        It is undeniable that we are living in a knowledge society where knowledge plays power to our life. Recently, peer-to-peer problem solving virtual communities (P3 VCs) have become widespread in many countries. Many people prefer to visit P3 VCs when they need others’ help and solutions for problems. This catalyzes strong trend such that a number of P3 VCs have been established enough to invite many of us to share common interests and knowledge. Therefore, how to encourage participants to share their knowledge has become an important issue. There are many factors relevant to this issue. For example, if the knowledge is related to knowledge holders’ benefits, knowledge sharing will be hindered by their expectation of a competitive advantage. As a result, the competition for rewards may have a significant negative effect on participants’ knowledge sharing intentions. In a competitive context, this may occur more often. Most of previous studies were limited to researches on costs and benefits, incentive systems, extrinsic and intrinsic motivation, organizational climate, and management championship. In this sense, this study analyzes people’s emotional factors in a competitive context. This study aims to answer the following four research questions. First, how do the factors related to knowledge sharing intentions show different patterns depending upon whether one is contributing or seeking information? Second, what factors influence individuals’ knowledge sharing intentions in implicitly competitive contexts? Third, is a sense of competition a significant motivator that promotes or inhibits individuals’ knowledge sharing intentions? Fourth, do the knowledge sharing intentions affect the intention to continue participation through satisfaction with the knowledge sharing experience? With 220 valid questionnaires, PLS analysis was applied to obtain promising results.

      • The Methodology for Development of Enterprise Knowledge Management Systems

        In the new century's business, knowledge is a key factor and the business is driven by the knowledge. As the basis of value creation increasingly depends on the leverage of the intangible assets of firms, knowledge management systems (KMS) are emerging as powerful sources of competitive advantage. The knowledge process is also important to re-engineering the business process and knowledge management must be embedded in the process of knowledge workers' everyday practices. This paper introduces the definition of knowledge, knowledge management and the development methodology of enterprise KMS. In the section, the definition of these terminologies is introduced and related issues such as knowledge creation, knowledge transfer, representation and quality are briefly discussed. In the second section, the paper shows about how the management of knowledge in business processes be organized and supported. Finally, one business case, ERNST&YOUNG, is introduces about its' KMS.

        지식사회 ‘현상’인가 ‘환상’인가?: 지식사회 담론의 이론적 쟁점과 전망

        최근 지식의 중요성이 강조되고 지식의 생산·전파·공유 기술이 발달하 면서 현 시대에 내장된 지식사회 잠재력과 한계 및 그 미래 전망에 대한 논의도 활발해지고 있다. 1950년대 정보경제론, 1960년대 탈산업사회 론, 1980-90년대 정보사회론, 2000년대 지식사회론을 거치면서 확인된 정보 및 지식의 사회변동 잠재력은 오늘날 지식사회가 사회과학 담론의 핵심 아젠다 중 하나로 자리매김하는 데 일조했다. 본고는 지식사회 담론의 형성과 전개과정 및 쟁점들을 살펴보고 그것이 한국사회에 갖는 함의를 천착한다. 연구 결과에서 보듯 오늘의 사회에서는 광범위한 인구 집단이 지식 창출과 공유 및 확산에 참여하고 있고 개인생애의 전(全)주 기에 걸쳐 지식 습득의 중요성이 강조되고 있으며 지식이 주요 의사결 정과 행동의 타당성을 판별하는 준거가 된다는 점에서 지식사회로 볼수 있다. 하지만 우리가 마주하는 지식사회는 단순히 지식이 비약적으로 증가하고 확산된, 그래서 이에 대한 대중의 접근이 용이하게 된 사회가 아니다. 그것은 지식 증가에 비례해 무지, 불확실성, 위험, 공포도 증가 하는 역설적 사회이다. 인간이 삶의 질 향상을 목표로 과학기술 패러다 임을 밀어붙이면 붙일수록 인간의 삶을 위협하는 공포와 위험도 증가하는 패러독스, 그리고 과학지식 패러다임이 관철되면 될수록 인간의 인식 능력과 감각기관을 무력화하는 과학적 무지가 증가하는 패러독스는 우리가 몸담고 있는 현실 지식사회의 속절없는 자화상이다. Nowadays, as the importance of knowledge is emphasized and the technology for production, propagation, and sharing of knowledge has developed, discussions on the possibilities, limitations, and future prospects of the knowledge society are becoming more active as well.The potential of knowledge and information for social change, identified through discussions of the information economy of the 1950s, the post-industrial society of the 1960s, the information society of the 1980s and ’90s, and the knowledge society of the 2000s, has helped the knowledge society to become a key agenda of social science discourse. This article examines the formation and development of knowledge society dialogue, several related issues, and their implications for Korean society. As the research shows, today s society is a knowledge society in that, first, a broad range of people are involved in creating, sharing, and spreading knowledge; second, knowledge acquisition is an important part of everyone’s life cycle; and finally, knowledge becomes the basis for all decisions and actions. However, the knowledge society we face today is not simply one where accessibility is heightened by the increase and spread of knowledge. It is a paradoxical society in which fear, ignorance, risk, and uncertainty increase as knowledge increases. The reality of the knowledge society we face clearly portrays the paradox that human lives are more at risk as we push the frontiers of science and technology as well as the fact that ignorance increases as scientific paradigms spread throughout society.

        Knowledge Extractions, Visualizations, and Inference from the big Data in Healthcare and Medical

        The purpose of this study is to develop a composite platform for knowledge extractions, visualizations, and inference. Generally, the big data sets were frequently used in the healthcare and medical area. To help the knowledge managers/users working in the field, this study is focused on knowledge management (KM) based onData Mining (DM), Knowledge Distribution Map (KDM), Decision Tree (DT), RDBMS,and SQL-inference. The proposed mechanism is composed of five key processes. Firstly, in Knowledge Parsing, it extractslogical rules from a big data set by using DM technology. Then it transforms the rules into RDB tables. Secondly, through Knowledge Maintenance, it refinesand manages the knowledge to be ready for the computing of knowledge distributions. Thirdly, in Knowledge Distribution process, we can see the knowledge distributions by using theDT mechanism.Fourthly, in Knowledge Hierarchy, the platform shows the hierarchy of the knowledge. Finally, inInference, it deduce the conclusions by using the given facts and data.This approach presents the advantages of diversity in knowledge representations and inference to improve the quality of computer-based medical diagnosis.

        지식공유의 영향요인에 대한 연구 동향 및 향후 연구 방향 탐색

        This study aims to review how studies on the factors influencing knowledge sharing have been carried out since 2000 and presenting the direction of future knowledge sharing related research. Research on knowledge sharing has been conducted in the direction of emphasizing the importance of knowledge sharing through the process of analyzing the effects of knowledge sharing and exploring various factors that affect knowledge sharing. Knowledge sharing contributes to the expression of individual and team creativity, improves business efficiency through process improvement, and contributes to performance creation by enhancing organizational learning and innovation capabilities. In order to activate this knowledge sharing, it is required first of all to identify which factors should be considered. For this purpose, this study divides various factors that affect knowledge sharing through preceding studies at the organizational level, team level, and individual level and organizes them. In addition, the limitations of previous studies are drawn and future research directions on knowledge sharing influencing factors are suggested. Despite the efforts of previous studies to identify the factors influencing knowledge sharing, there is still a lack of simultaneous consideration of various variables, and various approaches are needed to comprehensively analyze the antecedent factors and results of knowledge sharing. In future research related to knowledge sharing, empirical research on the correlation between knowledge sharing and performance within an organization needs to be more actively conducted, and it is necessary to fully understand the various forms of knowledge sharing. In addition, additional research is needed that can contribute to exploring alternatives that can contribute to solving the motivational problem of knowledge sharing. In addition, longitudinal research designs and verification efforts that can confirm the causal relationship between behavior and results need to be continuously attempted. In the discussion part, this study suggests implications as well as limitations for future research.

      • Knowledge Management Model for the Downstream Oil Energy Sector in the Philippines: A Grounded Theory Approach

        Knowledge management can guide the management of an enterprise in running the business with a greater degree of efficiency while decreasing business risks. This dissertation presented a Knowledge Management model as a simplified image outlining the relationships of the devised theory using the grounded theory approach of qualitative research. Through semi-structured interviews done by carefully determining the current preferences of organizational leaders of four oil major companies operating in the downstream oil business in the Philippines, of the relevant knowledge processes backed up by presented documents, presentations, and policy manuals. The grounded theory inquiry developed a principle on modern Knowledge Management encompassing the specifics in the downstream oil sector in the Philippines. Theoretical saturation was achieved at ten participants. Thematic analysis generated patterns of modern knowledge. In the model, there were certain management prerequisites with several characteristics and for these characteristics to be effective, sources of knowledge were clearly identified. Once validated knowledge has been established and security of knowledge has been secured, utilization of the knowledge ensues. While using the knowledge, the model puts value on responsibility to work in collaboration with other knowledge managers. Collaboration means shared responsibility to ensure that the knowledge at hand will only be used in promoting common business goals. Predicaments like devaluation, mishandling, and manipulation of knowledge are always possible and extra caution should always be given. The model which can be replicated to other organizations with allied business structures will strengthen the resolve of a knowledge management system benefits by improving the business processes, making better decisions and short and long-term strategy formulation.

        외식 프랜차이즈 기업의 지식이전이 가맹점 만족도에 미치는 영향관계 분석

        Knowledge transfer, which is a form of knowledge management, plays an important role for enhancing competitiveness of a company. This is particularly true in restaurant franchise business because a franchisee can usually gain fast and instant competitive advantages against its competitors by receiving precious knowledge such as patented technology and management know-hows from franchisor when signing a franchise contract. In order for knowledge transfer to be successful, there are a few issues involved in the knowledge transfer process. First is whether the recipient has the capability to absorb and to utilize the new knowledge. Second is whether they have an intention to receive the knowledge. Last issue is whether the franchise duration affects the effectiveness of knowledge transfer. This study aims to investigate the relationships among the several factors that are involved in the knowledge transfer between franchisor and franchisee in restaurant industry. Data was collected by using a survey questionnaire on the 119 respondents. The results show that the franchisee’s knowledge absorption capability alone is not very effective to make knowledge transfer successful. More important is that the franchisee’s satisfaction level is affected by the organizational intention for knowledge transfer. The franchise duration, however, does not seem to affect the effectiveness of knowledge transfer.
