The goal of this paper is to prove socio-cultural characteristics through linguistics analysis in the signboard language using at Hongjedong in Seoul and Hawaii Korea Town. First I analyzed the whole name of signboards into the unique name and the name of business type. The letter types of signboard are Hangeul, Chinese letters, Roman alphabet, Arabic numerals, and etc. Indication expressions of human, region, worth are used in the unique name, especially indication expressions of family, for example {-ne(네)}, are widely used in the unique name of Seoul. This fact shows that Korean society emphasize the family before each single person. A comparison between the name of business type of Seoul and Hawaii, indication expression of place are the most used in Seoul, for example {-hoe(會)}, {-won(院)}, and etc. In comparison, indication expression of man are the most used in Hawaii, for example {-in(人)}, {-sa(士)}, and etc. Indication expression of place are widely used in English, for example {-mateu(mart)/-maket(market)/-(syap)shop/-(senteo)center/-keulleop(club)/-house(house)}, and etc.

Dissociating the stem of verb forms is one of the main challenges facing the young children in first language acquisition. This study is concerned with the reconstruction of the stems in the natural speech of young children. Our analysis is based on the natural speech data collected longitudinally from 4 monolingual Korean-speaking subjects ages 2;06 to 3;06. Results show that (1) the children overall reconstruct irregular verbs more often than regular verbs, (2) the stem reconstruction takes place when the inflected form of a word contains an ellipsis or a contraction, (3) the children tend to substitute the variants which precede the universal ending `-아/어` morpheme. The implications of these findings are that young children consider the word forms that they are frequently exposed to as a basic form, and tend to change irregular paradigm to regular one. This provides evidence of the children`s capacity to dissociate inflectional features from a verb and to locate them in some other verb inflection.

This thesis examines what is the implication of Hallidayan linguistics in Korean Education theory. In details, I`ve taken into consideration of the viewpoint of language education in Sydney. The range of Hallidayan language theory does not reside in the description of linguistic units. Halliday thought highly of the context and the relationship between meaning and form. He has always tried to elucidate the meaning potential, which is regarded as linguistic competence in his theory. All his concepts could work successfully in key words of Korean Education and Curriculum planning. Now Korean Educationalists can not explain the linguistic competence or performance as a whole. I think all the key words are inclined to be understood according to each school. Eventually, these key concepts do not work effectively in National Curriculum planning. Curriculum planning is the significant field in Korean Education theory. But these days, no theory are likely to explain the National policy. The Hallidayan key concepts could play a important role in Korean Education theory apart from the National policy.

We need to determine a concept of character which is a being, sign of words or whatever in a broad viewpoint. Furthermore we should accept a viewpoint not of a character theory that is biased by realism but of a character theory that is defined by narrative. in this time, we must not perceive a character of a novel only in a side of epic formalism. We also approach to same subject in a side of narrative theory. The narrative recognize a character as a structure of words in the stream of time same as formalists or structuralists do. We should know that where the education of narrative goes to when we give consideration to opinions of narrative theorist who content character`s death unhesitatingly. An education of narrative need to correspond to a position of narrative elastically to explain a phenomenon of the real world escaping a limit of a education of novel. From this points of view, a character`s problem can show how the education of epic include and develop narrative. That`s why this treatise study a possibility that an education of novel can advance to an education of narrative with a focus on a character`s problem.

The purpose of this treatise is to establish the meaning of correspondence of the poetry that Kim Kwang-Kyun showed in development of the modernization through the `sound` representation which appeared at the time. His poetry is different from what Kim Ki-Rim did in visual sense as sensation of synchronism at the time of modernization absolutely, he made full use of unique technique to build an image via `sound` representation to show by various methods while paying attention to visual sense. At first his poetic description lets you convert a sound by dynamic movement. It appears in the reason that must pay attention to such a technique very frequently, and as for the poetic element generating unique atmosphere is because is it. It prescribed character of such an image in a kind of `sensory image` by this treatise. Though `sound` representation is an image as a border of pre -modern/modern times and appears, it means correspondence of the poetry that he showed in full-scale development of the modernization.

This paper is study finding that enforced for reading ability height to third-year student small scale students in middle school, and guides information accretion and reduction in text processing. I try to propose reading study model that contribute and are at the same time valid in reading ability elevation because these research reactor learners understand text as is systematic and detailed. This research put emphasis to do to achieve that newcomers execute information accretion and reduction in text processing precisely. Busywork, to erase details information that is less important relatively to take out of information, summarize main point and did extracting, reconstructing based on main point. On the other hand, make teacher show setting an example, and compared activity contents. and ran asking a question and discussing method. It embodies situation model of brain substance that is consisted in process and adjusted text studying that read. Authorized based on situation model and text retrieval recollection examination`s result that create at a course of study. It was expose that studying about information accretion and reduction in text processing improves learner`s situation model composition ability and retrieval recollection ability of information. This may become plan that do learners who procedural memory and strategy are weak to read to put on a makeup by capable reader.
