북한의 <2021년 광명성절 기념공연> 특징과 의미

지난 2021년 2월 16일 만수대예술극장에서는 김정은과 리설주가 참석한 가운데 <광명성절 기념공연>이 개최되었다. 김정은은 앞서 2월 11일 ‘설명절 경축 공연’에 참석한 후, 5일 만에 또 다른 공연을 관람했다. 음악정치로 대변될 만큼 북한 음악공연은 주요 행사의 성격을 극대화하기 위해 공연의 선곡, 내용, 구성, 형식 등에서 변화를 거듭한다. 본 연구는 지금까지 북한의 광명성절 공연의 의미와 특성을 다룬 연구가 이루어지지 않았다는 점에서부터 출발한다. 2021년은 제8차 당대회가 개최된 해로 새로운 5개년계획을 발표, 추진하는 시점이라는 것이다. 공연 주체 역시 기존에 광명성절 기념공연을 개최하던 왕재산예술단이나 평양시 예술단 소조가 아닌 현재 김정은 시대에 가장 주목받는 연주단인 공훈국가합창단과 국무위원회연주단의 합동공연 형식의 대규모 공연이었다는 점에서도 이번 공연의 의미를 부여할 수 있다. 공연에서 김정은이 재청(앵콜)을 두 번이나 지시하는 모습 등은 기존 공연에서는 볼 수 없었던 형식이다. 이번 공연을 통해 북한 내부적으로 어떻게 음악정치가 활용되는지 알 수 있다. 또한 이번 공연에서 새롭게 선보인 국무위원회연주단의 활동과 의미에 관한 연구도 지속되어야 한다. On February 16, 2021, the commemorative show of Day of The Shining Star was put on the stage at the Mansudae Art Theatre with the participation of Kim Jung-un and Lee Seol-ju. Kim Jung-un watched another show in five days after his participation in the celebratory show of Lunar New Year on February 11. Day of the Shining Star is observed as the biggest holiday in North Korea along with Day of the Sun marking the birthday(April 15) of Kim Il-sung. What is noteworthy about this year s Day of the Shining Star is that Kim Jung-un participated in its commemorative show unlike its previous editions only in five days from his participation in the Lunar New Year s show. He did not show at the commemorative show of Day of the Shining Star in 2014~2020, taking part in the worship service at the commemorative palace of Mt. Geumsu and the Central Committee s report congress. In North Korea, music performances are represented by musical politics. They keep changing in their selection of works, content, composition, and form to maximize the nature of a major event. This study was conceived by an observation that no previous studies covered the meanings and characteristics of Day of the Shining Star shows in North Korea. 2021 marks North Korea s announcement and propulsion of its new five-year development plan along with the 8th party convention. This year s show offers a peek at how musical politics is used inside North Korea.

북한의 제8차 당대회 축하 대공연의 특징과 의미

2021년 1월 5일 북한은 제8차 당대회를 개최했다. 이번 대회는 김정은 시대의 새로운 5년을 제시한다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 8일 동안 진행된 이번 대회는 김정은 시대 10년을 마무리하고 2차 5개년 계획의 추진이라는 점에서 주목할 필요가 있다. 대회가 끝난 후 제8차 당대회를 경축해 김정은이 참석한 가운데 대공연 ‘당을 노래하노라’라는 제목으로 대공연을 개최했다. 이 공연은 24일까지 10일간에 걸쳐 평양체육관에서 진행되었다. 이번 공연은 〈5천명 대공연〉이라는 공연명칭에서도 알 수 있듯이 실내공연으로는 역대 최대 수준이다. 3D를 활용한 무대배경에 집단체조까지 동원된 실내공연 형식은 처음이다. 김정은이 직접 참석한 가운데 진행된 축하공연을 통해 북한당국의 정책적 의도를 파악할 수 있다. 공연에서 선보인 선곡과 구성 그리고 무대배경 화면 메시지 등에는 북한의 대내외 정세 인식이 드러난다. 특히 7차 당대회 축하공연과 비교할 때 시대별 변화 요인이 뚜렷함을 주장한다. North Korea held its eighth party congress on January 5, 2021. It was significant in that it proposed a new period of five years under Kim Jong-un regime. Lasting for eight days, the party congress deserves attention for wrapping up the first ten years under Kim Jong-un regime and pushing forward North Korea’s second five-year plan. After the party congress was over, a grand show was put on the stage under the title Sing about the Party with the presence of Kim Jong-un in the audience to commemorate the eighth party congress. At the Pyongyang Gymnasium, the show lasted for ten days until January 24. As the title A Grand Show of 5,000 People indicates, it recorded the biggest scale as an indoor performance in the history of North Korea. It presented an indoor performance form of combining mass games with 3D stage set for the first time in the nation. Kim Jong-un’s presence at the celebration show reflects the North Korean regime’s policy intention. The present study set out to examine the songs selected for the show, the organization of the show, and messages on the stage screen in their characteristics and meanings and analyze North Korea’s music politics based on them.

문학의 철학적 성취에 관한 비평적 논증

본 논문은 알레고리 비평이론을 통해 문학텍스트에 대한 열린 철학적 모색을 시도했다. 이는 순수 언어의 복원이라는 목표 속에서 일정한 경계선을 허물며, 그래서 마치 하나의 보다 새롭고 예상할 수 없는 예술세계를 구축하는 것과 같은 언어의 초월적 기능에의 모색이라 할 만하다. 이를 위해 알레고리 비평이 어떤 방법으로 순수 언어를 탐색하려고 하는가와 관련하여, 그로테스크, 환상적 기법, 그리고 해체론의 책략을 원용했다. 요컨대 알리고리 비평, 환상적 기법, 해체론은 모두 언어와 더불어 시작하고 언어로 종결하는 탐색의 일환이다. 그리고 그 탐색은 그로테스크한 형상과 환상의 과격한 비(非)결정에 대한 탐색이다. 아울러 그것은 추락 이전의 언어의 패러독스와 순수언어에 대한 모색이기도 하다. 이상의 논의는, 본고에서 예증의 사례로 다룬 작품『악마』를 통해 발휘된다. 『악마』는 그 알레고리가 뚜렷하다. 즉 작가는 시종일관 어떠한 형상을 상정하면서 인간이 자칫 놓치기 쉬운 이성과 열정 사이, 그리고 현실성과 순수 사이에서 균형을 유지하려고 노력했다. 이는 환상적 망설임의 효과와 그로테스크의 양면성, 애매함의 책략들에 의한 효과를 통해, 상반되는 논리성의 해체라는 공통 목표를 수행한 것이다. 그것은 비단 어떠한 경계를 무너뜨려 하나의 보다 새로운 포괄적인 전체를 이루려는 것과 다름없다. 이 포괄적인 전체가 바로 순수 언어의 복원이자 언어의 초월적 기능에 대한 복원인 것이다. This paper is to try the open philosophical seeking of literature text through the theory of allegorical criticism. This tears down the certain boundary under the purpose called the recovery of pure language, and thus it may be reckoned as seeking of the transcendental functions of language just like the establishment of new and unexpected artistic world. With respect to wondering of the method of allegorical criticism to search the pure language, grotesque, fantastic technique, and the strategem of deconstructionism were cited. To sum up, the allegorical criticism, fantastic technique, and deconstructionism begin with the language, and they are a part of searching to be completed with the language. Moreover, this is seeking of the pure language and the paradox of language before the fall. The argument of ideal is demonstrated through 『Devil』 to be illustrated on this paper. This novel has a clear allegory. In other words, the author kept introducing a certain form and put an effort to maintain the balance between practicality and purity. This is an implementation of common goal called the deconstruction of antithetical logicality through the effect of fantastic hesitation, ambiguity of grotesque, and the effect of strategem of evasiveness. Indeed, this is to tear down a certain boundary to form a new comprehensive one. This comprehensive one is a recovery of pure language and a recovery of transcendental function of language.

중국 체류 북한 주민을 통해서 본 외래문화 접촉실태와 정책방안

본 연구는 북한주민의 외래문화 접촉 실태에 따른 북한사회 변화를 살펴보기 위해 현재 북한주민 신분으로 북중국경에 체류하는 사람들을 대상으로 인터뷰를 진행한다. 사사방문자나 무역일꾼들은 중국 체류 중 외래문화를 접하면서 직간접적으로 남한의 모습을 경험한다. 폐쇄된 북한 사회에서 일방적으로 주입된 정보가 아니라 개인이 직접 영상물이나 남한 사람을 통해 새로운 정보를 알아간다. 북한당국은 외래문화를 ‘제국주의사상문화침투’로 간주하며 엄격히 단속한다. 본 연구는 북한 주민으로 규정할 수 있는 사람들을 대상으로 현재 북한에서 확산하는 외래문화 실태를 살펴보고 이러한 현상이 북한사회에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석한다. 아울러 북한주민이 외래문화 접촉을 통해 외부세계를 경험하며 개인의 의식변화는 물론 폐쇄된 북한 사회 변화의 주요한 동력으로 작용하고 있다는 점을 바탕으로 북한 내 외부정보 활용방안을 모색한다. This study conducted interviews with North Koreans currently residing in North Korea and China border areas in order to explore changes in North Korean society according to the residents’ access to foreign culture. Visitors for personal business or trade workers experience South Korean society directly and indirectly through foreign culture they encounter while staying in China. They obtain new information by watching videos or meeting South Koreans in person rather than receiving one-way information provided by the closed North Korean society. The North Korean authorities regard foreign culture as “the invasion of imperialistic ideology and culture” and strictly crack down on it. This study investigates the current status of the spread of foreign culture in North Korea by surveying those who can be defined as North Koreans and analyzes how this phenomenon affects North Korean society. In addition, based on the fact that North Koreans experience the outside world through foreign culture that acts as a major driver in the changes of not only individual perceptions but also the closed North Korean society, this study explores how to introduce external information into North Korea.

북한의 "당의 유일적 령도체계 확립의 10대 원칙" 개정 의미와 북한주민들의 인식: 북한내부 문건 분석을 중심으로

본 연구는 개정된 10대 원칙전문을 입수하여 개정 전과 후 내용을 비교분석하고 북한 당국이 이를 북한 주민들에게 어떠한 방식으로 사상교양 사업을 전개하는지 살펴본다. 본 연구는 개정된 10대 원칙 전문을 입수하여 개정 전과 후 내용을 비교분석하고 북한 당국이 이를 북한 주민들에게 어떠한 방식으로 사상교양 사업을 전개하는지 살펴본다. 첫째, 김일성과 함께 김정일의 신격화를 진행한 점 둘째, 사회주의 체제 및 제도에 관하여 명료하게 정리하였으며 셋째, ‘구 10대 원칙’에서의 ‘교시집행의 준수’가 ‘신 10대 원칙’에서는 ‘유훈관철’로 변경되었고, 넷째, ‘신 10대 원칙’을 통해 혈통을 통한 통치정권계승의 당위성을 부여하였다. 아울러 북한 당국의 위로부터의 일방적 사상통제가 과연 북한주민들에게는 어떠한 인식기제로 작용하는지 알아보기 위해 북한 내부 협력자와의 전화통화녹취자료 및 10대 원칙 학습 동영상 자료를 분석한다. The purpose of this paper is to analyze North Korea’s “Ten Principles of the Monolithic Guidance System“ by comparing its transformation before and after the revision in 2013. Specifically, the study examines how Pyongyang’s ruling elite has employed ideological education through a literature survey of North Korea’s official newspaper, motion pictures learning materials on the ‘New Ten Principles,’ and data telephone logs. The survey demonstrates that North Korean ideological work since the 2013 revision has been marked by: first, intensified deification of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il; second, elimination of reference to communism; third, emphasis on following the teachings of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il within the ``New Ten Principles,``; and fourth, glorification of hereditary succession.

This paper discusses the method of recognizing autonomous vehicles using Extend Kalman Filter and feature - based map. The Localization of the autonomous vehicle can be performed using GPS, V2X and Map matching. However, If uncertain GPS information or disconnection in communication happens, this Localization becomes uncertain. Although the autonomous vehicle can localize through the vehicle information without depending on the external sensor, the Localization based only on the vehicle information has a cumulative error. This paper describe a feature detection and feature extraction for corners in the environment, and performance of the proposed EKF Localization using motion model and vehicle information.

남북통합시 북한 양강도의 관광자원 개발 방안: 백두권역 인프라 실태를 중심으로

통일 전 남북한 통합과정에서 북한 지역의 개발 및 관광은 필수적으로 요청되는 사항이다. 남북한 지자체간 연계를 위해서는 먼저 북한 지역에 대한 실태와 특징에 대한 분석이 우선적으로 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구는 먼저 백두권역을 대표하는 양강도와 주변도시의 현황과 실태를 살펴보고, 남북통합 관광브랜드 창출이라는 인식 아래 북한 양강도 관광개발 방안을 제시하는데 목적을 두었다. 백두권역은 양강도 삼지연시를 중심으로 남서쪽의 혜산시와 북동쪽의 대흥 단군, 남쪽의 보천군을 아우르는 일대의 지역이다. 양강도 지역의 관광자원 개발에서 가장 중요하게 다루어야 할 부분은 접근성 강화를 위한 교통 인프라 확충으로 나타났다. 특히, 양강도의 대표적 도시인 혜산시는 백암령이라는 고갯길로 막혀 향후 이 부분에 대한 논의가 더욱 필요하다. 한라-백두 공동브랜드 시범 상품으로 백두산들쭉 개발을 꼽을 수 있으며 제주삼다수와 백두산 백산수의 공동개발 방안이 제시되었다. 또한 겨울철 북한에서 삼지연 얼음축전이 제주에서는 들불축제가 개최되는데, 불과 얼음이라는 다소 이질적인 요소를 같은 시즌에 각기 다른 장소에서 관광한다는 컨셉으로 연계하는 관광상품 아이디어도 살펴봤다. The development and tourism of North Korean regions are essential requests in the integration process of North and South Korea. The North Korean regions should be analyzed for their real conditions and characteristics before any links are established between local governments of North and South Korea. This study aims to examine the current state and actual condition of Yanggang Province and its surrounding cities representing the Mt. Baekdu zone and propose plans to develop tourism in the province under the idea of creating a tourism brand based on the integration of North and South Korea. The Mt. Baekdu zone spans from Samjiyeon City of Yanggang Province through Hyesan City in southwest and Daeheung Dangun in northeast to Bocheon-gun in south. The expansion of transportation infrastructure to reinforce accessibility turned out to be the most important element in the development of tourist resources in Yanggang Province. Access to Hyesan City, which is one of the biggest cities in the province, is blocked by an uphill path called Baekamryeong, which raises a further need to discuss it. The study proposed the development of Mt. Baekdu bog bilberry as a pilot product under a joint brand of Halla-Baekdu and the joint development of Jeju Samdasu and Mt. Baedu Baeksansu. In winter, Samjiyeon holds an ice festival in North Korea, and Jeju holds a bush fire festive in South Korea. The study examined a tourist product idea to connect two heterogeneous elements, fire and ice, via sightseeing at different places during the same season.

Formed by the direct order of Kim Jung Eun in July, 2012, the Moranbong Band has put on celebratory performances at the significant anniversaries and major events of North Korea without fail. The Band has sung songs fit for the nature of each event and announced new songs with political intentions at each performance. In the North Korean regime represented by "musical politics," the Band is another window to represent the era of Kim Jung Eun. The performances of the Band serve as a yardstick to estimate the internal political situations of North Korea and the political discourse of North Korean regime at the time of performance. The "Commemorative Performance for the Participants of the Fifth Training Workers" Convention" clearly contained the political messages that the North Korean regime wanted to spread through songs. This study set out to analyze the "Commemorative Performance for the Participants of the Fifth Training Workers" Convention," which was the 21st performance of the Band since its pilot performance, and find the political intentions and implications of the North Korean regime in it. The political situations and intentions of North Korean regime can be analyzed through many different factors. It is very significant, however, to figure out the political intentions through the Moranbong Band since the propaganda and agitation through performance are emphasized so much that they are expressed as "musical politics."
