Method: Through the systematize for all terms about cosmetology, to reveal the regularity about cosmetology before HAN(漢) dynasty. Result: There were damage-appearance disease in HAN(漢) dynasty, there are lots of ideas about cosmetology in Shang Han Za Bing Lun(傷寒雜病論). Conclusion: Shang Han Za Bing Lun(傷寒雜病論) is a monograph about pattern identification and treatment, and is an important ancient book for research of cosmetology of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In the further, we will research in knowledge discovery about cosmetology of Traditional Chinese Medicine. to strengthen the guidance of the theory of Zhang Zhongjing(張仲景) for clinical practice of cosmetology of Traditional Chinese Medicine.         With the popularization of higher education in China, the private university, as a fresh troop has brought up a large number of talents for our society, and thus attracted more and more attentions from the government and various circles of the society. Private universities have made great contributions to the diversification of the managements of higher education. With the development of economy and the advent of the society, higher education, as a standard public product, has been highly valued and supported by the nation. In particular, private university education is paving a good way for the solution to the lack of funds in Chinese higher education. The chance for private university to make profits can help to increase the possibilities of active investments ineducation from companies, enterprises and individuals, to enlarge the scale of private education, and to achieve fairness and equality of education and finally to promote the prosperity of economy and stability of the society. The author in this article aims to demonstrate that in order to guarantee their education quality, private universities should improve their financial system, consult the management system of the businesses, adopt modernized teaching techniques and perfect teaching capacities of the professors, and thus it can exert a great influence on China.

      • Zinc Oxide-Enhanced Piezoelectret Polypropylene Microfiber for Mechanical Energy Harvesting

        <P>This paper reports zinc oxide (ZnO)-coated piezoelectret polypropylene (PP) microfibers with a structure of two opposite arc-shaped braces for enhanced mechanical energy harvesting. The ZnO film was coated onto PP microfibers via magnetron sputtering to form a ZnO/PP compound structure. Triboelectric Nanogenerator (TENG) based on ZnO/PP microfiber compound film was carefully designed with two opposite arc-shaped braces. The results of this study demonstrated that the mechanical energy collection efficiency of TENG based on piezoelectret PP microfiber was greatly enhanced by the coated ZnO and high-voltage corona charging method. We found that, with the step-increased distance of traveling for the movable carbon black electrode, an electrical power with an approximately quadratic function of distance was generated by this mechanical-electrical energy conversion, because more PP microfibers were connected to the electrode. Further, with a full contact condition, the peak of the generated voltage, current, and charges based on the ZnO/PP microfibers by this mechanical-electrical energy conversion with 1 m/s<SUP>2</SUP> reached 120 V, 3 μA, and 49 nC, respectively. Moreover, a finger-tapping test was used to demonstrate that the ZnO/PP microfiber TENG is capable of lighting eight light-emitting diodes.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>

      • FDG PET-CT in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer: Relationship between Primary Tumor FDG Uptake and Extensional or Metastatic Potential

        Objective: To explore the relationships between primary tumor $^{18}F$-FDG uptake measured as the SUVmax and local extension, and nodal or distant organ metastasis in patients with NSCLC on pretreatment PET-CT. Methods: 93 patients with NSCLC who underwent $^{18}F$-FDG PET-CT scans before the treatment were included in the study. Primary tumor SUVmax was calculated; clinical stages, presence of local extension, nodal and distant organ metastases were recorded. The patients with SUVmax${\geq}2.5$ were divided into low and high SUVmax groups by using the median SUVmax. The low SUVmax group consisted of 45 patients with SUVmax<10.5, the high SUVmax group consisted of 46 patients with SUVmax${\geq}10.5$. Their data were compared statistically. Results: 91 cases with SUVmax${\geq}2.5$ were included for analysis. The mean SUVmax in patients without any metastasis was $7.42{\pm}2.91$ and this was significantly lower than that ($12.18{\pm}4.94$) in patients with nodal and/or distant organ metastasis (P=0.000). In the low SUV group, 19 patients had local extension, 22 had nodal metastasis, and 9 had distant organ metastasis. In the high SUV group, 31 patients had local extension, 37 had nodal metastasis, and 18 had distant organ metastases. There was a significant difference in local extension (P =0.016), distant organ metastasis (P =0.046), and most significant difference in nodal metastasis rate (P =0.002) between the two groups. In addition, there was a moderate correlation between SUVmax and tumor size (r = 0.642, P<0.001), tumor stage (r = 0.546, P<0.001), node stage (r = 0.388, P<0.001), and overall stage (r = 0.445, P= 0.000). Conclusion: Higher primary tumor SUVmax predicts higher extensional or metastatic potential in patients with NSCLC. Patients with higher SUVmax may need a close follow-up and more reasonable individual treatment because of their higher extensional and metastatic potential.

        EFFECT OF MACROMOLECULAR COUPLING AGENT PMMA-b-PVTES ON STABILIZING NANO-Si3N4

        Poly(methyl methacrylate)-b-poly(vinyltriethoxysilane) (PMMA-b-PVTES) are synthesized using atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and used as macromolecular coupling agents to modify silicon nitride nanoparticles (nano-Si3N4). The chemical composition of copolymers PMMA-b-PVTES and modified nano-Si3N4 are confirmed by various characterization techniques. The modified nano-Si3N4 shows excellent hydrophobic nature, which make nanoparticles (NPs) stably disperse in organic solvent. Transmission electron microscope (TEM), particle size testing, contact angle measuring and sedimentation experiment are employed to examine the dispersion of modified nano-Si3N4 in chloroform. By comparing the effects of copolymers with varied number-average molecular weight (Mn) and block length ratio on stabilizing nano-Si3N4, we discussed the mechanism of macromolecular coupling agent stabilizing NPs. In our experiments, the copolymer PMMA88-b-PVTES17 is found to be the most effective macromolecular coupling agent for stabilizing nano-Si3N4.

        Limonoids from the roots of Trichilia sinensis and their cytotoxicities

        Six new compounds (1–4, 8, 10), along with six known limonoids (5–7, 9, 11, 12), were isolated from the roots of Trichilia sinensis. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic methods including 1H NMR, 13C NMR, DEPT, HSQC, HMBC, 1H–1H COSY and ROESY experiments, as well as by comparison with the literature. All the compounds were evaluated for cytotoxicities against K562, SGC-7901 and BEL-7402 cell lines. Compounds 2, 7, 10, 11, and 12 showed weak inhibitory activity to the selected cell lines.

        Antimicrobial Aflatoxins from the Marine-Derived Fungus Aspergillus flavus 092008

        A new aflatoxin, aflatoxin B2b (1), together with six known compounds, were isolated from the marine-derived fungus Aspergillus flavus 092008 endogenous with the mangrove plant Hibiscus tiliaceus (Malvaceae). The structure of 1 was determined by the spectroscopic and chemical methods. Compound 1 exhibited a moderate antimicrobial activity against Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis and Enterobacter aerogenes, with MIC values of 22.5, 1.7 and 1.1 μM, respectively. Compound 1 also showed a weak cytotoxicity against A549, K562 and L-02 cell lines, with IC50 values of 8.1, 2.0 and 4.2 μM, respectively. The results showed that hydration and hydrogenation of Δ8-double bond significantly reduces the cytotoxicity of aflatoxins, while the esterification at C-8 increases the cytotoxicity.

      • Suppression of Cellular Apoptosis Susceptibility (CSE1L) Inhibits Proliferation and Induces Apoptosis in Colorectal Cancer Cells

        The cellular apoptosis susceptibility (CSE1L) gene has been demonstrated to regulate multiple cellular mechanisms including the mitotic spindle check point as well as proliferation and apoptosis. However, the importance of CSE1L in human colon cancer is largely unknown. In the present study, we examined expression levels of CSE1L mRNA by semiquantitative RT-PCR. A lentivirus-mediated small interfering RNA (siRNA) was used to knock down CSE1L expression in the human colon cancer cell line RKO. Changes in CSE1L target gene expression were determined by RT-PCR. Cell proliferation was examined by a high content screening assay. In vitro tumorigenesis was measured by colony-formation assay. Cell cycle distribution and apoptosis were detected by flow cytometric analysis. We found CSE1L mRNA to be expressed in human colon cancer cells. Using a lentivirus based RNAi approach, CSE1L expression was significantly inhibited in RKO cells, causing cell cycle arrest in the G2/M and S phases and a delay in cell proliferation, as well as induction of apoptosis and an inhibition of colony growth capacity. Collectively, the results suggest that silencing of CSE1L may be a potential therapeutic approach for colon cancer.

        Influence of additives on the morphology of α-Al2O3 platelets synthesized in a molten salt

        Trisodium phosphate (Na3PO4·12H2O) and titanyl sulfate (TiOSO4) were chosen to study the influence of additives on the morphology of α-Al2O3 platelets synthesized by molten salt synthesis. When Na3PO4·12H2O is added, α-Al2O3 platelets become thin and quite irregular. Besides, less overlapped particles can be found. When TiOSO4 is added, regular hexagonal α-Al2O3platelets with a decreased size and increased thickness are obtained. When 0.51 wt% Na3PO4·12H2O and 12 wt% TiOSO4 are added, α-Al2O3 platelets with a regular shape and an aspect ratio of 12.5 are developed. The mechanism of Na3PO4·12H2O and TiOSO4 on the morphology of α-Al2O3 platelets is also discussed in this paper.

      • Sex-related Differences in DNA Copy Number Alterations in Hepatitis B Virus-Associated Hepatocellular Carcinoma

        Background: Males have a higher prevalence of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) than females in general, but the reasons for the sex disparity are still obscure. DNA copy number alteration (CNA) is a major feature of solid tumors including HCC, but whether CNA plays a role in sex-related differences in HCC development has never been evaluated. Methods: High-resolution array comparative genomic hybridization (CGH) was used to examine 17 female and 46 male HCC patients with chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in Shanghai, China. Two-tailed Fisher's exact or ${\chi}^2$ tests was used to compare CNAs between females and males. Results: The overall frequencies and patterns of CNAs in female and male cases were similar. However, female HCC tumors presented more copy number gains compared to those in males on 1q21.3-q22 (76.5% vs. 37.0%, P = 0.009), 11q11 (35.3% vs. 0.0%, P = 0.0002) and 19q13.31-q13.32 (23.5% vs. 0.0%, P = 0.004), and loss on 16p11.2 (35.3% vs. 6.5%, P = 0.009). Relative to females, male cases had greater copy number loss on 11q11 (63.0% vs. 17.6%, P = 0.002). Further analyses showed that 11q11 gain correlated with 19q13.31-q13.32 gain (P = 0.042), 11q11 loss (P = 0.011) and 16p11.2 loss (P = 0.033), while 1q21.3-q22 gain correlated with 19q13.31-q13.32 gain (P = 0.046). Conclusions: These findings suggest that CNAs may play a role in sex-related differences in HBVassociated HCC development.
