        Robust Repetitive Control Design and Its Application on Linear Servo Systems

        A robust design method of the discrete-time plug-in repetitive control system is proposed. By modifying the stabilizing compensator,the robustness of the repetitive control system can be well ensured together with the zero-following error performance. The designmethod is simple and straightforward. Meanwhile, a novel robustness criterion for the discrete-time repetitive control system isintroduced, and theoretical analysis is taken to compare the robustness of the proposed controller with the widely used zero phaseerror tracking controller (ZPETC). The proposed repetitive controller is implemented in a linear servo system. Simulation isperformed to verify the theoretical analysis, and the experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed controller.

        Preparation of Self Microemulsion of Ferulic Acid

        목적: 본 연구는 페룰산의 자체 에멀젼을 위한 최적의 포뮬러 및 제조공정을 연구 하기 위한 것이다. 방법: Pseudo three phase diagram방법을 이용하여 각기 다른 계면활성제의 마이크로 에멀젼 영역의 형성 크기에 대한 영향을 연구하고, 또한 SZ-100나노입 자분석기를 이용하여, 계면활성제, 보조계면활성제, 오일의 최적의 비율을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 SZ-100나노입자분석기 및 Zeta 전위 분석기를 이용하여 마이크로 에멀젼의 안정성을 확인하였다. 결과: Pseudo three phase diagram방법과 SZ-100나노입자분석 기를 이용하여 측정한 결과를 종합하여, 최적의 에멀젼 처방비율은 polyoxyethylene castor oil (Cremophor EL):polyethylene glycol 40 (PEG 40):무수에탄올:isopropyl myristate (IPM)=3.15:3.15:1.8:1 이고, 에멀젼의 평균입자크기는 15.5 nm 이며, 이때 마이크로 에 멀젼 체계 수분함량은 90% 이었다. 페롤산의 최대 약물적재량(maximum drug loading)은 5.2% 이며, 에멀젼의 안정성 또한 우수하 다는 것을 확인하였다. 결론: 위와 같은 에멀젼 처방의 연구는 페롤산과 같은 불용성 물질의 수중에서의 용해도를 대폭 증가시킴으 로써, 실제 생산응용 시에 중요한 가치를 가질 것으로 사료된다 Purpose: The optimum formulation and preparation process of ferulic acid self microemulsion was studied. Methods: The effect of different surfactants on the formation of microemulsion area was studied by pseudo three phase diagram method. To determine the best ratio among surfactants, cosurfactant and oil phase, the uniformity and particle size of microemulsion was evaluated by nanoparticle size analyzer. Finally, the stability of microemulsion was measured by nanoparticle size analyzer and zeta potential analyzer. Results: Combined the results of pseudo three phase diagram with particle size distribution, the best ratio of self microemulsion:polyoxyethylene castor oil (Cremophor EL): polyethylene glycol 40 (PEG 40):Ethanol:isopropyl myristate (IPM) is about 3.15:3.15:1.8:1. The average particle size of microemulsion is about 15.5 nm which of system contains about 90% water. The maximum drug loading of ferulic acid was 5.2%, and this self microemulsion formulation has good stability. Conclusion: The formula greatly improves the solubility of insoluble materials like ferulic acid in water and it has guiding significance for the application of the microemulsion in practical production.

      • Stretchable Wire-Shaped Asymmetric Supercapacitors Based on Pristine and MnO<sub>2</sub> Coated Carbon Nanotube Fibers

        <P>While the emerging wire-shaped supercapacitors (WSS) have been demonstrated as promising energy storage devices to be implemented in smart textiles, challenges in achieving the combination of both high mechanical stretchability and excellent electrochemical performance still exist. Here, an asymmetric configuration is applied to the WSS, extending the potential window from 0.8 to 1.5 V, achieving tripled energy density and doubled power density compared to its asymmetric counterpart while accomplishing stretchability of up to 100% through the prestrainning-then-buckling approach. The stretchable asymmetric WSS constituted of MnO<SUB>2</SUB>/CNT hybrid fiber positive electrode, aerogel CNT fiber negative electrode and KOH-PVA electrolyte possesses a high specific capacitance of around 157.53 μF cm<SUP>–1</SUP> at 50 mV s<SUP>–1</SUP> and a high energy density varying from 17.26 to 46.59 nWh cm<SUP>–1</SUP> with the corresponding power density changing from 7.63 to 61.55 μW cm<SUP>–1</SUP>. Remarkably, a cyclic tensile strain of up to 100% exerts negligible effects on the electrochemical performance of the stretchable asymmetric WSS.         Dietary Supplementation with Acanthopanax senticosus Extract Modulates Cellular and Humoral Immunity in Weaned Piglets

        This study was conducted to test the hypothesis that dietary supplementation with an herbal extract of Acanthopanax senticosus (AS) enhances the immune response in weaned piglets. Sixty piglets weaned at 21 days of age were randomly assigned to 3 treatment groups representing the addition of 0 or 1 g/kg of the AS extract or 0.2 g/kg of colistin (an antibiotic) to maize- and soybean meal-based diets (n = 20 per group). On days 7, 14 and 28 after initiation of the addition, total and differential counts of leucocytes, proliferating activity of peripheral lymphocytes, serum levels of immunoglobulins (Ig) and cytokines and the spleen index were determined. The AS extract decreased (p<0.05) the number of neutrophils on days 7 and 28 in comparison with the control group and reduced (p<0.05) serum interleukin-$1{\beta}$ level on day 28 compared with the other 2 groups. Dietary supplementation with the AS extract increased (p<0.05) the lymphocyte/leukocyte ratio on day 28 compared with the control group and increased the proliferating activity of lymphocytes on days 14 and 28 compared with the other 2 groups. The AS extract increased (p<0.05) the serum content of IgG on day 7 and of IgG and IgM on day 28 compared with the other 2 groups, as well as increasing the serum content of tumor necrosis factor on day 7 and spleen index on days 7 and 28 compared with the control group. Collectively, these findings suggest that the AS extract as a dietary additive enhances the cellular and humoral immune responses of weaned piglets by modulating the production of immunocytes, cytokines and antibodies.
