Nifedipine 투여가 선천성 고혈압 쥐의 CYP1A1과 2B1 유도에 미치는 영향

Cytochrome P-450(CYP) enzymes are important in catalyzing the hiotransffrmation on manyendogeneous compounds and xenobiotics, including drugs and carcinogens. In the presentstudy, effect of nifedipine a voltage dependent calcium channel blocker on the induction ofCYP1A1 and 2B1 was investigated. Change of CYP1A1 and 2B1 activities were measuredby using specific enzyme activities and Western blot analysis. CYP1A1, as quantified by ethoxyresorufin-0-deethylase activity and Western blot with monoclonal antibody 1-7-1, increasedin liver microsome of nifedipine-treated spontaneous hypertensive rat(SHR. 30mg/kg.b.w, twicea day for 3days) but not in kidney microsome. CYP2B1, as quantified by benzyloxyresorufin-O-dealkylase activity and Western blot wit]1 monoclonal antibody 2-66-3, markedly increasedin liver microsome of nifedipine-treated SHR but slightly in kidney microsome. The resultsdemonstrate that nifedipine is a potent inducer of CYP2B1 in SHR.

McCoy 세포에서 Chlamydia trachomatis의 병원성 인자에 관한 연구

본 연구는 병원성 세균인 Chlamydia trachomatis(C. trachomatis)가 숙주세포에침습시 C. trachomatis의 병원성 인자와 C. trachomatis와 상호작용하는 숙주 세포막의 인자를 규명함으로써 숙주세포에 대한 감염율을 향상시켜 보다 향상된 진단 방법을 개발하기 위하여 수행하였다. C. trachomatis로 감염된 세포에서 기본소체의 막 단백질을 분리한 결과 각 혈청형의 39 kDa과 42 kDa에서 major outer membranes(MOMPs)이 관찰되었으며, 혈청형 E와 G의 MOMPs는 42.5 kDa으로 동일하였지만 혈청형 F, H, I, 그리고 K의 MOMPs는 각각 다르게 관찰되었다. C. trachomatis가 숙주세포로 침습시 관련된 병원성 인자에 대하여 조사하고자 단층세포로 배양된 배양용기에 C. trachomatis를 24, 48 그리고 73시간대별로 접종시켜 관찰한 결과 72시간의 MOMPs의 양이 가장 많이 증가하였으며 이 결과로 MOMPS이 C. trachomatis 병원성에 중요한 작용을 함을 확인할 수 있었다. C. trachomatis가 침습시 숙주세포의 막 단백질 변화양상을 관찰하기 위해 정상세포와 C. trachomatis로 1, 2, 3 그리고 4시간대별로 접종 시간을 달리한 숙주세포의 막 단백질을 분리한 결과 42 kDa의 단백질 양이 Chlamydia에 감염된 세포 내에서 증가됨을 관찰할 수 있었다. 이로 42 kDa의 막 단백질이 침습시 숙주세포 표면에 대한 수용체로서 작용함을 알 수 있었다. The present study was performed to analyze the pathogenic factors involved in the invasion process of Chlamydia trachomatis(C. trachomatis) into McCoy cells. In this study, elementary bodies(EBs) of C. trachomatis serotypes(E, F, G, H, I, K and LGV) could be isolated by the method of Percoll density gradient centrifugation and the pathogens of serotypes were also compared from whole-cell lysates by using sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel elelectrophoresis. All chlamydial serotypes showed a single predominant protein ranging from 39 to 42 kDa. The major outer membrane proteins(MOMPs) of the E and G serotypes had an identical molecular weight of 42.5 kDa. In contrast, the MOMPs of the F, H, I and K serotypes were showed different molecular weights of MOMPs. By immunoblotting with anti-MOMP antibody it was revealed that the quantify of MOMPs was time-dependently increased when McCoy cells were infected with Chlamydia for 24, 48 and 72 hr. These results indicated that MOMPs are closely related to chlamydial infection into the host cell.

청소년 비행과 가족관계

비행과 관계될 수 있는 사회환경적 요인주에서 가장 중요하다고 생각되는 가정내의 부모의 태도와 가족 구성원간의 상호인간관계 요인들을 추출하여 조사하였다. 조사대상은 비행으로 인하여 보호수용된 남자 청소년 100명과 일반 고등학교 남학생 100명이었다. 이들에게 미리 작성한 질문지를 통해서 청소년이 느끼는 비행요인들을 조사였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 배행집단의 부모는 권위적이고 엄하며 딱딱한 태도를 취하였다. 특히, 비행집단의 어머니는 아버지에 비하여 오히려 무책임한 경향을 나타내었다. 2. 비행집단은 대조군에 비하여 부모에게 회피적이였다. 그리고 비행집단은 특히 어머니에 대하여 반항적이었다. 3. 비행집단의 부모의 부부관계는 비교적 원만한 편으로 나타난 반면에 자식에 대해서는 엄하고 권위적인 태도를 취하는 경향을 나타내었다. 4. 형제간의 인간관계에서 비행집단은 경쟁적이고 비판적이었으며 서로 제각기 분리되어 있는 경향이었다. 5. 이성관계에서 비행집단의 부모는 대조군에 비하여 간섭적이거나 무관심한 태도를 보였다. 6. 진학에 대한 부모의 태도에서 대조군의 부모는 진학을 원하는 반면에, 비행집단의 부모는 무관심하거나 취업을 원하는 경향을 나타내었다. The present study was planned to investigate juvenile delinquents' parental attitudes and their intrafamilial relationship. The study group was 100 male juvenile delinquents institutionalized in correctional institute. The control group was 100 male high school students. The results were as follows: 1. Parental attitudes of delinquent group were authoritarian and overly strict, Mothers, compared with fathers, appear to be more neglectful. 2. Delinquent subjects avoid their parent more than control group. And, they were resistant particularly to their mother. 3. Parents of the delinquent group seem to have better marital relationship than the control group. 4. Adolescent attitudes toward their sibling were chraacterized by being competitive and critical in the delinquent group compared with control group. 5. Parents of the delinquent group were either indifferent or overconcerned about their children's heterosexual relationship compared with parents of the control group. 6. Most of parents of the control group wanted their children to continue advanced education. But, parents of the delinquent group showed indifferent attitude toward their children's education or wished their children to get a job instead of going to school.

아임계 및 초임계수하의 p-Xylene 의 무촉매 부분 산화반응에서 반응조건이 Terephthalic acid 의 선택성에 미치는 영향

아임계와 초임계수 매체하에서 p-xylene을 과산화수소에 의해 무촉매로 부분 산화시켜 terephthalic acid(TPA)를 제조하는가능성을 실험적으로 검토하였다. 회분식 반응실험을 통해 p-xylene의 새로운 산화 분해 경로를 제시하였다. 반응 시작 후 20분이 경과하였을 때 p-xylene의 전화율은 아임계수 조건에서 89.0% 이상이었고, 초임계수 조건에서는 99.0% 이상으로 온도가 높아질수록 증가하였다. TPA의 선택성은 초임계수 조건보다는 아임계수 조건에서 더 높았으며, 특히 온도 300 ℃, 압력 220 bar, 과산화수소 주입비 50%일 때 TPA수율은 29.0%로 최대값을 나타내었다. 또한 TPA 선택성에 미치는 압력의 영향은 초임계수보다는 아임계수 조건에서 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. The possibility of manufacturing the terephthalic acid(TPA) by partial oxidation of p-xylene without a catalyst in subcritical and supercritical water medium was investigated experimentally. The effects of reaction condition such as reaction temperature, pressure and hydrogen peroxide feed ratio on the conversion of p-xylene and the selectivity of TPA produced were investigated in batch reactor and new oxidation reaction pathway of p-xylene was proposed. Conversion of p-xylene was about 89.0% in subcritical condition and increased with the temperature increasing, over 99.0% in supercritical condition after 20 minutes from the start of reaction. The selectivity of TPA in subcritical conditions was higher than in supercritical conditions and the maximum value was 29.0% at 300 ℃, 220 bar, 50% H_2O_2 feed ratio. The pressure effect on TPA selectivity was higher at subcritical water condition than at the supercritical condition.

화농성 견관절염의 관절경적 처치

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the usefulness of arthroscopic drainage in the management of septic arthritis of the shoulder. Materials and methods : The cases of nine septic glenohumeral joints were evaluated. Each patient was treated by arthroscopic irrigation and necrotic synovectomy, combined with parenteral antibiotics. Result In five of nine shoulders in which treatment was begun four weeks or less after symptoms appeared, a satisfactory functional outcome was obtained, while four patients who were treated after a delay of more than four weeks had poor results. Conclusion : The most significant factors leading to poor results of treatment were delay in instituting treatment, virulence of the infecting organism, and a serious process of underlying disease. Arthroscopic drainage is a valuable procedure for the treatment of the septic arthritis of shoulder. Arthroscopic drainage is a method that has proved effective, with minimal morbidity, in attempts to cure septic arthritis of the shoulder.

順天大學學生의 價値觀에 關한 硏究

In this thesis, I survey the fields of social, domestic, educational, moral sense of value and so forth, in order to understand students value of Sun Cheon College newly founded in small city and to collect data for student guidance 556 students, about 45% of whole students respond to the questionaires. The results of the survey are as follows: 1. Students are likely to fallow the foreign fashion prudently and boldly but they want more to keep their tuaditional ideas of value before they follow the foreign trend of the times. 2. They show negative attitude against selfish individualism and a trend of mutual distrust but they think that both are needed if necessary. 3. They are interested in a righteous mass communication which has a great influence on the public. 4. They show negative attitude against social movement resulted from emigration and the gravitation of population inward large cities. 5. They agree to adopt a system of nuclear family but they are not eager to follow it. 6. They think that a shift in generation should be accomplished without reforming traditional foundations by force and even though they agree to a love marrage, they should respect their parents' idea. 7. They wish that parents must respect children`s privacy and independence and educational systems only for a university must be reformed as soon as possible. 8. They think that the key of success in life is to make steadily faithful living rather than quich-witted living of moment and that happiness can not be bought with money. 9. They believe that the traditional ethics, filial duty and faith should be maintained but they think that parents ideas are not always right and they can hardly be aware of faith in exigent moment. 10. They show an affirnarive attitude to conscientious behavior and the spirit of obeying laws but they believe than the favorable political system should be established ahead of the spirit of obeying laws because of a tendency to deceive conscience, if necessary. 11. They show a positive attitude to freedom but men are more conservative than women and they believe that senal freedom should be with love, while they show negative attitude against decadent trend.

Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome에 합병되어 나타난 급성 신부전증 1예

Neuroleptic malignant syndrome(NMS) is an uncommon but fatal idiosyncratic reaction to neuroleptics. It comprises fever, muscular rigidity, altered consciousness and autonomic dysfunction. The most common serious complications of NMS is rhabdomyolysis, which produces acute myoglobinuric renal failure. The authors experienced a schizophrenic male patient with acute renal failure as a sequela of NMS. The patient was 27-year-old man who had received haloperidol for 9 years. Emergency hemodialysis, hydration and diuretics promoted recovery of impaired renal function. The patient survived the acute episode of NMS without any sequela and resumed his treatment with neuroleptics.
