There are many potential dangers around our life, but we are laking in the consciousness of safety because accidents do no happen frequently. If an accidents occurs, an ability to deal with it is so weak that it can be enlarges to a disaster. Therefore it is important to accustom ourselves to manage dangers and this can be realized by traing. In this study, the traditional traing methodologies are compared and analyszed in order to find an efficient traing way for the public. Also, we propose a traing method by using UCC(User Created Contest) which is a growing communication and content tool in the Internet environment nowadays.

운동처방을 위한 자각적 운동강도에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to examine the rating of perceived exertion at lactate threshold for exercise prescription. The number of experimental subjects were forteen. The endurance training intensity corresponding to lactate threshold(LT) was administered 30 minutes a day, 3 days a week, for 8 weeks. The results of study were as follow ; 1. The mean VO₂max of control subjects were 3.42 l/min and 3.36 l/min before and after training. And that of experimental subjects were 2.69 l/min and 3.80 l/min before and after training. 2. The mean VO₂max at lactate threshold in control subjects were 2.21 l/min and 2.03 l/min before and after training. And that of experimental subjects were 2.20 l/min and 2.79 l/min. 3. The mean RPE-LT corresponded to a perception of work as "fair light" and "Hard." 4. The endurance training decreased RPE scale significantly during the maximal exercise.

합성 HMT를 이용한 도로 속도 표지판 인식

In this paper. we proposed a method to recognize a speed limit signboard for autonomous road vehicles( ARV's) using the synthetic HMT(hit-miss transform). When images are acquired constantly by a camera of a car while ARV drives. it is difficult to detect the signboard in an instant. So. we set a limited range of distance between the camera and the signboard to have time enough to detect the signboard. However, signboard images which are acquired at each location in the limited range have different shapes each other. So, the synthetic HMT is used to detect each different shaped signboard at one time. Using the synthetic HMT, first signboards are detected and secondly signboard images are extracted. Finally speed limit numer is recognized from the extracted signboard images using the synthetic HMT again. Simulation results shows that the proposed method can be used for detection of signboard and recognition of speed limit in the limited range with only one HMT operation.

추적조사를 중심으로 한 腰椎間板脫出症에 대한 蜈蚣藥鍼의 臨床的 硏究

Objective : This study is performed for the purpose of examining the efficacy of the scolopendrid(Scolopendra morsitans L) which has been to low back pain as a folk remedy. Methods & Results : Seventy patints with H.I.V.D. treated with the scolopendrid aquacupuncture and examined 4 tests; D.I.T.I., physical test, Oswestry disability index, and self-conscious pain rate were studied. And we follow up after discharge, we evaluated the present state and recovery period. Or we evaluated by herniated type and duration of onset. There was 58~97% of efficacy rate in each tests. Moreover, statistically valuable change in all 7D.I.T.I. points and in disability index and in self-conscious pain rate was showed. Conclusion : The scolopendrid aquacupuncture is possible to be effective terating the H.I.V.D patients. so we suggest the possibility using this new remedy to the H.I.V.D. patients.

마이크로컴퓨터를 利用한 設備配置

This study presents a microcomputer program for a facility layout that uses the relationship chart which represents interdepartmental relationships. The program presented here is written in BASIC language. The program uses the following three-stage algorithms: (1) Selection of placement order 1) Select a department having the largest total closeness rating. 2) Search for a department with a interdepartmental interation of the highest closeness rating with the last selected department. If the rating is higher than minimal acceptable closeness rating, return to 2). Otherwise, search for one of the unselected department having the largest total closeness rating, return to 2). (2) Placement pattern Department placement starts at the center of the screen and spirals outward until the layout is established. (3) Layout scoring The distance from each department centroid to the others is multiplied by the corresponding closeness rating and summed to give the total score. The presented algorithm was tailored after that of Gaston, but our algorithm improved the Gaston's as follows: 1) The first selection of a department was based on the total closeness rating instead of random selection. 2) The possible distance measures are rectilinear, euclidean and squared euclidean distances instead of the rectlinear distance alone. 3) Preassigned departments such as aisles, stairwells, etc. can he located in advance.

Photoluminescence과 Conductance 측정을 이용한 자외선 조사된 Ge첨가 다성분계 산화물 유리의 구조변화 관찰

Ge-doped multicomponent oxide glasses were prepared by a conventional melting method. The structural change around Ge ions was investigated by using PL(photoluminescence) and conductance(G). After UV irrdiation, the PL intensity decreased and the change were maintained at room temperature, but a photodarkened glass recovered near its original properties when it was heat-treated at 500℃ for several hours. The conductance of the irradiated sample decreased because the disorder in structure was happened by UV irradiation. These results can be explained a structural change were occurred at bonding structure between Ge ions and glass components.

A classification algorithm of traffic signs using a MSHMT(modified synthetic hit-miss transform) is proposed for the autonomous road vehicles(ARV's). In the case of classification of traffic signs, there are many kinds of signs with intraclass distortions and interclass similarities. The MSHMT provides a good solution with the property of distortion invariant recognition of multiple objects in noisy and cluttered scene. The proposed algorithm of traffic sign classification consists of the phase of sign detection and the phase of symbol recognition. In the phase of sign detection, structuring elements(SEs) are synthesized using only set theory to adapt to simple variations. In the phase of symbol recognition, SEs are synthesized using set theory and SDF(synthetic discriminant function) synthesis method to adapt to complex variations. Based on extensive simulations, it has been shown that the proposed algorithm is efficient for the classification of traffic signs.

실험적 알러지성 뇌수막염에서 EndothelinAB 수용체 길항제인 BOSENTAN의 효과

Experimental allergic encephalomyelitis (EAE) is an animal model of autoimmune disease such as multiple sclerosis. Endothelin-1, isolated from porcine aorta foremostly, is a potent vasoconstrictor peptide and acts as a mitogen and chemotaxtic factor. In present study, the level of endothelin-1 (ET-1) in blood, brain and spinal cord of EAE-induced Lewis rat was evaluated through radioimmunoassay. In addition, for investigating the role of ET-1 on pathogenesis of EAE, intracisternal injection of mixed ET-1 receptor antagonist, BOSENTAN to Lewis rats which was at it's preclinical, Grade 1, and Grade 3 stage was done. At the severe stage of EAE (Grade 3), ET-1 level in the spinal cord of EAE induced rats increased two-folds (p<0.05) compared with that of sham-treated rats. In bosentan (300nmol/day, i.c.) treatment study, bosentan effectively ameliorated the clinical severity of EAE at all stages of EAE. These findings suggest that ET-1 plays an important role in the progression of clinical symptom of EAE. Amelioration of clinical symptom of EAE by bosentan implies a therapeutic possibility of ET-1 antagonist treatment in multiple sclerosis and it's animal model. EAE.
