In this paper, we describe Endocarpon subramulosum as a new species from temperate regions of South Korea, which grows over soil on rocks. The proposed new species is morphologically similar to E. ramulosum Harada, which has so far been reported from Japan.

The new commensalistic lichenicolous genus Ajaysinghia, is described, illustrated, and compared withother morphologically similar fungi. The type species, A. dendriscostictae, grows on the thallus of thecorticolous lichen Dendriscosticta praetextata in temperate and subalpine regions of Central Himalaya(Uttarakhand, India). It is distinguished from other lichenicolous ascomycetes described so far in havingpseudoperithecia growing in clumps making it appear like galls, (0e)1-septate, brown ascospores [(12e)14.2e17.3(e18) (3e)3.7e4.8(e5) mm, l/b ¼ (2.8e)3.3e4.2(e4.6) mm], with rounded to pointed ends, slightly constricted at the septum and a cyanobacterial host (Dendriscosticta praetextata).

Tibial cyst formation following the use of bioabsorbable interference screws in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction is well-described; however, cyst formation after the use of metallic interference screws is not well-documented. We describe a case of osteolytic lesion of the proximal tibia presenting to us 20 years after ACL reconstruction using an autologous bone-tendon-bone graft. The original graft fixation technique was interference fixation with a metal screw in the tibial and femoral tunnels. A two-stage revision reconstruction of the ACL was undertaken with curettage and bone grafting of the tibial lesion in the first stage and reconstruction using a four-strand hamstring tendon in the second stage. The patient recovered satisfactorily with complete healing of the cyst and returned to pre-injury level of activities. We have reviewed case reports and case series that describe the aetiology of intra-osseous cyst formation following ACL reconstruction.

<B>Abstract</B><P>Eleven species are recognized of which <I>C. bogilana</I> and <I>C. subflavorubescens</I> are described here as new to science while nine species (<I>C. cinnabarina</I>, <I>C. decipiens</I>, <I>C. ferruginea</I>, <I>C. inconspecta</I>, <I>C. pellodella</I>, <I>C. scopularis</I>, <I>C. stantonii</I>, <I>C. squamosa</I> and <I>C. subsoluta</I>) are reported for the first time for South Korea. Both new species are peculiar due to their secondary chemistry; anthraquinones along with atranorin, gyrophoric acid and lecanoric acid in <I>C. bogilana</I>, and gyrophoric acid together with anthraquinones in <I>C. subflavorubescens</I>.</P>
