        Thymoma is associated with myasthenia gravis, Pure red cell aplasia, and autoimmune diseases such as autoimmune hemolytic anemia, aplastic anemia, and hypogammaglobulinemia. It's association with aplastic anemia is rare and aplastic anemia appearing after surgical removal of thymoma is especially rare. The authors hereby report a case of aplastic anemia occuring in a patient who was diagnosed with thymoma and myasthenia gravis and had the tumor surgically removed. The patient was treated with anti-thymocyte globulin, cyclosporin, and prednisolone, and showed partial remission with hematologic improvements after 12 months.

      • 냉각면이 있는 정방형내 이종유체의 저온거동에 관한 실험적 연구

        Two stratified fluids (water and spindle oil) in aspect ratio of 1 to 1 were studied experimentally with the variation of an initial temperature and a cooling surface temperature in the square cavity with a lower cooling surface. With the initial temperature being varied, a cooling surface temperature were varied. With supercooling phenomenon being processed, a latent heat was emitted. The temperature of the spindle oil was increased with the occurrence of the latent heat. In case of initial temperature was low. the supercooling phenomena were observed and continued up to the end of experimental.

        The purpose of this study is to know the effects of Pinelliae Tuber on the cytotoxicity of human gingival fibroblasts according to brewing methods. Pinelliae Tuber was extracted by water in the state of being raw materials, prebrewing with Zingiberis Tuber and alumen. The extracted Pinelliae Tuber was applied to the cultured human gingival fibroblasts. The cytotoxic effct of Pinelliae Tuber was meaeured by MTTassay and microscopic findings. The results were as follows : 1. The cell viability of the fibroblasts by Pinelliae Tuber water extracts significantly decreased compared to control group. 2. The cell viability by the Pinelliae Tuber extracts prebrewed with Zingiberis Tuber was similiar to those of control group. 3. The cell viability by the Pinelliae Tuber extracts prebrewed with alumen slightly decreased, but was higher than those of PT group. 4. According to the microscopec findings, the number of cell count were smaller than normal in all experimental group, specially in the PT group, and showed the shrinkage of cytoplasmic process in the PT group and PA group.

      • 가치공학변경제안제도의 활성화 방안에 관한 연구

        우리나라의 건설산업은 국내건설시장의 전면 개방과 표준품셈제도의 단계적 폐지와 같은 새로운 환경변화에 직면하고 있으며, 이러한 상황하에서 건설산업은 사고의 혁신과 기술혁신 필요하다. 선진국에서는 이 치열한 생존경쟁에서 살아남고 국가예산절감의 한 방편으로 가치공학을 통하여 큰 성과를 거두고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국가예산의 큰 비중을 차지하고 있는 건설공사에 대해서 미국, 일본과 우리나라의 가치공학변경제안제도, 시행 절차, 공사비절감 사례 등을 비교·분석하고, 국가예산절감을 위한 한 방편으로 공공공사에 대하여 가치공학변경제안제도를 활성화 시키고 나아가서 민간공사에서도 가치공학을 적극 활용할 수 있도록 하는 방안을 제시하고자 하였으며, 5가지의 방안을 제시하였다. The construction industry in Korea is confronted with new environment such as opening market for domestic construction and withdrawing of standard unit system. Under these circumstances, the construction industry needs technology and thought innovation. The developed countries is successful through Value Engineering(VE) in order to survive in this fierce struggle for existence and save national budget. This study tries to provide the encouragement of VE change proposal system to public construction projects as well as private construction projects with comparison and analysis of USA, Japan and Korean VE change proposal system, procedure and examples of saving budgets, and provides five alternative proposals.

      • 건설 프로젝트 파이낸싱의 활용 방안에 관한 연구

        대형 프로젝트 수주를 위해서는 기획·관리능력뿐만 아니라 건설업체의 금융조달능력이 필요하다. 프로젝트 파이낸싱은 단일금융기법이 아닌 복합적이고, 다양한 이해당사자가 관련된 자금조달기법이므로 그 관계당사자중 한 부분의 노력만으로는 성공할 수는 없다. 정부와 금융기관이 협조를 강화하고, 특히 정부차원에서 지원정책과 규제 완화조치로 지원을 개선하는 노력이 필요하다. 이에 국내 건설업체도 프로젝트 파이낸싱의 도입을 건설 수주를 위한 하나의 수단으로만 받아들이는 오류를 피하고 국내외 건설환경을 분석·대응하는 등의 적절한 대처가 요구되며, 기술경쟁력뿐만 아니라 건설관리능력과 자금조달에 관련하여 프로젝트 파이낸싱의 필요성을 인식하고 연구하여 활용하도록 해야 한다. Receiving a major project order requires not only planning and management but financing capability of construction companies. Since project finance is multi-complex financial supply method by various parties concerned not a single supply method, it can not succeed with one part's effort. It is also necessary to reinforce the relationship between the governments and financing companies, especially the support and regulation relax policy by the governments. As such, domestic construction companies should not consider induction of project finance as a means of acceptance a construction environment in domestic and overseas. And also it is necessary to apply in the field which researched about technology competitiveness, construction management capability and financial supply.

      • NaC1 수용액과 실리콘 오일에 의한 성층유체의 저온거동에 관한 실험적 연구

        To study the influence of phase change of solution and fluid flow on low temperature in thermal storage, solar pond and removal of oil pollution at the sea, an experimental study was carried out in the square cavity filled with stratified fluids of silicone oil and aqueous sodium chloride. In the case of the lower cooling surface, the temperature of the system was dominated by conduction owing to the temperature and concentration fields stabilized by gravity. Liquid superheat influenced less in the lower part and the maximum density of sodium chloride became lower as the salt concentration got higher in the upper part. And the lower the initial temperature in the system the lower the temperature distributions were. When the actual liquid temperature was lower than the liquidus temperature with Ci = 15%, a supercooling phenomenon was observed But with Ci = 5% and Ci = 10% the actual liquid temperature was higher than the liquidus temperature and the temperature of upper fluid also got lower when the concentration of sodium chloride became lower. The influence of latent heat was less in the lower part and the raising ratio in temperature was higher when the initial concentration was lower in the upper part.

      • 수직 냉각면이 있는 정방형내 성층유체의 열적거동에 관한 실험적 연구

        This study was investigated by experimentals on the thermal behavior of stratified fluids in the square cavity with the vertical cooling surface by variation of initial temperature and cooling surface temperature and concluded as follows: 1. When the cooling surface temperature of the square cavity was -4℃. the supercooling phenomena was occurred every times regardless initial temperature of fluids and when -6℃ freezing was begun with out supercooling phenomena. 2. The higher the initial temperature was, the longer supercooling phenomena duration was, and the longer the supercooling phnomena was, the higher the temperature of the upper fluids was. 3. When the supercooling phenomena of water was occurred, the rate of temperature decrease of silicon oil was higher and when there was no supercooling phenomena, it was almost same the rate of temperature decrease.

      • 장방형내 저온 단일 수평 원관 주위의 동결현상에 관한 실험적 연구

        An experimental study on water in a rectangular cavity with a horizontal cooling tube was carried out to investigate the flow character and thermal behavior in the system. Each experiment was performed with variation of initial temperature and cooling tube temperature. When the cooling tube temperature was -4℃, the supercooling phenomenon was observed regardless of the initial water temperature. And the case of cooling tube temperature was -6℃ with initial temperature was below 4℃, the supercooling phenomenon was also observedin the large region of the test section. When the cooling tube temperature was -10℃, the local region of supercooling phenomenon was observed during the freezing process. And the higher initial temperature was, the higher supercooling degree and the less difference of the ice thickness between upward and downward was observed. It is shown that by controllingthe supercooling phenomena and the cooling tube temperature, it would lead to an increase efficiency of ice making.

        Effect of calcination temperature on the association between free NiO species and catalytic activity of Ni−Ce<sub>0.6</sub>Zr<sub>0.4</sub>O<sub>2</sub> deoxygenation catalysts for biodiesel production

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In this study, a series of Ni−Ce<SUB>0.6</SUB>Zr<SUB>0.4</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> catalysts, which were synthesized by co-precipitation followed by calcination at different temperatures, were applied for the deoxygenation of oleic acid. The physicochemical properties of the catalysts were characterized by N<SUB>2</SUB> adsorption-desorption, X-ray diffraction (XRD), H<SUB>2</SUB> chemisorption, H<SUB>2</SUB> temperature-programmed reduction (H<SUB>2</SUB>-TPR), NH<SUB>3</SUB> temperature-programmed desorption (NH<SUB>3</SUB>-TPD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The Ni−Ce<SUB>0.6</SUB>Zr<SUB>0.4</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> catalyst calcined at 300 °C exhibited the highest conversion for oleic acid as well as selectivity for diesel-range compounds. It is predominantly related to the highest amount of free NiO species.         <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Herein, we prepared Pt-, Pd-, and Ru-promoted Ni–Ce<SUB>0.6</SUB>Zr<SUB>0.4</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> catalysts with improved oleic acid deoxygenation performance and investigated their physicochemical properties by N<SUB>2</SUB> adsorption-desorption, X-ray diffraction (XRD), NH<SUB>3</SUB> temperature-programmed desorption (NH<SUB>3</SUB>-TPD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).
