Purpose: This study aims to analyze the impact of Brand Anthropomorphism and Intimacy on Brand Engagement, and at the same time analyze the regulatory effect of Brand Reputation on the relationship between Brand Anthropomorphism and Intimacy and the relationship between Intimacy and Brand Engagement in terms of distribution brand. Results: The findings show that Brand Anthropomorphism, Intimacy, and Brand Reputation are important value factors in customers’ minds toward their behavior, and from there, they will contribute to creating positive emotions and interactions between consumers and brands. Research design, data, and methodology: This article used the quantitative technique utilizing PLS-SEM software to test the hypothesis with 1,060 samples. Collected data shows that consumers in Ho Chi Minh City have positive emotions and interactive and social behaviors toward smartphone brands. Conclusion: The study has demonstrated the conclusions and proposed solutions to help smartphone brands build Brand Anthropomorphism while enhancing Brand Reputation thereby achieving Intimacy, which leads to consumer Brand Engagement. In addition, this study complements the concept of Brand Anthropomorphism which is lacking in theoretical background and is the first study in Vietnam to explore the prefixes and suffixes of the concept of Brand Anthropomorphism and the regulatory role of Brand Reputation.

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to explore the factors which influence the night-time economic development in Hanoi, Vietnam. The results can help policymakers achieve a scientific basis to plan the development of night-time economy in Hanoi. Research design, data and methodology: The research model is developed from literature review with 7 independent variables, including natural conditions and resources, infrastructure, safety, environmental issues, promotion and international integration, development of sharing economy, and institution and policy. This model is then adjusted by exploratory factors analysis to have 4 new variables: Institution and environment, Infrastructure and safety, Promotion and sharing, and Nature and resources. The model is regressed based on the data of 463 observations of night-time economy in Hanoi, Vietnam. Results: Consistent with the current literature addressing night-time economy, the results show positive impacts of all of the independent variables studied. Conclusions: It is recommended for the local authorities to strengthen advertising and promoting investment for NTE development in Hanoi city and also enhance the role of state management in NTE activities by raising awareness of the state management apparatus towards a more open-minded multi-dimensional view of the NTE, developing the NTE to overcome the barrier of thinking “if it cannot be managed, it is forbidden” in state management agencies, and defining responsibilities and authority among state management agencies in the management of NTE activities and strengthening decentralization and decentralization of powers for localities in the management and development of NTE.

Backgrounds/Aims: Hepatolithiasis and choledocholithiasis are frequent pathologies and unfortunately, with the current treatment strategies, the recurrence incidence is still high. This study aimed to assess the outcomes of laparoscopic choledochotomy using cholangioscopy via the percutaneous-choledochal tube for the treatment of hepatolithiasis and choledocholithiasis in Vietnamese patients. Methods: A cross-sectional study of patients with hepatolithiasis and/or choledocholithiasis who underwent laparoscopic choledochotomy using intraoperative cholangioscopy via percutaneous-choledochal tube at the Department of Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery, 108 Military Central Hospital, from June 2017 to March 2020. Results: A total of 84 patients were analyzed. Most patients were females (56.0%) with a median age of 55.56 years. Among them, 41.8% of patients had previous abdominal operations, with 33.4% having choledochotomy. All patients underwent successful laparoscopic common bile duct exploration followed by T-tube drainage without needing to convert to open surgery. Most patients (64.3%) had both intrahepatic and extrahepatic stones. The rate of stones ≥ 10 mm in diameter was 64.3%. Biliary strictures were observed in 19.1% of patients during cholangioscopy. Complete removal of stones was achieved in 54.8% of patients. Intraoperative complications were encountered in two patients, but there was no need to change the strategy. The mean operating time was 121.85 ± 30.47 minutes. The early postoperative complication rate was 9.6%, and all patients were managed conservatively. The residual stones were removed through the T-tube tract by subsequent choledochoscopy in 34/38 patients, so the total success rate was 95.2%. Conclusions: Laparoscopic choledochotomy combined with cholangioscopy through the percutaneous-choledochal tube is a safe and effective strategy for hepatolithiasis and/or choledocholithiasis, even in patients with a previous choledochotomy.

Identification of a module of HAP transcription factors for seed development in rice
Van Ngoc Tuyet Nguyen,고윤실,Gynheung An,전종성,정기홍 한국식물생명공학회 2019 Plant biotechnology reports Vol.13 No.4
Heme activator protein (HAP) is a CCAAT box-binding factor family conserved in all higher eukaryotes. HAP transcription factors (TFs) consist of three subunits: HAP2, HAP3, and HAP5. Using recent rice genome information, we identified 11 HAP2 genes, 11 HAP3 genes, and 12 HAP5 genes. A HAP2 and five HAP5 genes were acknowledged more in this study than in the previous studies. Due to the functional association of HAP subunits, we carried out clustering analysis for expression patterns of all HAP members using anatomical meta-expression data of 983 rice Affymetrix arrays collected from the public database. Subsequently, we identified HAP members with endosperm and seed-preferred expression and focused on nine HAP family members associated with this expression pattern. We confirmed their expression patterns by RT-PCR analyses. The nine members were OsHAP2G, OsHAP2I, OsHAP3D, OsHAP3K, and five HAP5 genes (LOC_Os05g23910, LOC_Os10g11580, LOC_Os01g24460, LOC_Os01g01290, and LOC_Os01g39850). Promoter analyses using GUS activity again demonstrated that OsHAP3K is preferentially expressed in the aleurone layer of the seed and the LOC_Os05g23910 gene-encoding HAP5 showed endosperm-preferred expression. Network analysis using RiceNet suggests a functional gene network mediated by four rice HAP genes, further helping in the prediction of the biological function of OsHAP2G and OsHAP5 (LOC_Os10g11580). Our data provide new insight into HAP family-mediated regulatory pathways for endosperm or seed development in rice.
