This study aims to assess the attraction of foreign direct investment in Vietnamese economic zones (including industrial zones and economic zones). The main research method used are synthesis and comparison analysis based on the data collected from the surveyed group comprising of enterprises operating in the economic zones in the Middle (Chu Lai, Nhon Hoi, Dung Quat) and the Southern (the largest island: Phu Quoc). After conducting surveys, research results show that there is a difference between the assessment and the level to meet the requirements of investors with business environment, expressed through the following criteria: (1) the infrastructure; (2) quality of public services; (3) preferential policies; (4) labor; (5) market; and (6) social services. Based on the assessment of the identified criteria, this paper had suggested six number of recommendations to promote the role of attracting foreign direct investment capital into the economic zones in Vietnam: (1) implementing the one-stop-shop policy; (2) continuing to improve the infrastructure of economic zones; (3) prevent and ensure the security of economic zones; (4) implementing vocational training activities to improve quality of human resources; (5) development of supporting industries; (6) raising the quality of capital invested in the economic zone.

Double-barrier magnetic tunnel junctions (DBMTJs) were prepared from Co(75 nm)/Al2O3(2.3 nm)/ Co(5 nm)/Al2O3(2.3 nm)/Co(50 nm) sputtering pentalayer films. The ac electrical properties of asdeposited DBMTJs and those annealed in a vacuum at 100e350 C for 30 min were then investigated using a complex impedance spectroscopic technique. The ac impedance responses as a function of annealing temperature were further analyzed based on Maxwell's layered dielectric barrier and Maxwell eWagner capacitor models after considering the DBMTJs as having double-capacitor-type structures. The effect of thermal annealing on the ac transport behavior of the DBMTJs was interpreted by examining the equivalent electric circuits fitted to Nyquist plots of each different sample. The effects were found to be due to changes in the structural characteristics in both bulk and interface morphologies of Co and Al2O3 layers. The structural morphology determined the different ac transport modes that occurred in the DBMTJs.

Forest fires inflict great losses of human lives and serious damages to ecological systems. Hence, numerous fire detection methods have been proposed, one of which is fire detection based on sensors. However, these methods reveal several limitations when applied in large spaces like forests such as high cost, high level of false alarm, limited battery capacity, and other problems. In this research, we propose a novel forest fire detection method based on image processing and correlation coefficient. Firstly, two fire detection conditions are applied in RGB color space to distinguish between fire pixels and the background. Secondly, the image is converted from RGB to YCbCr color space with two fire detection conditions being applied in this color space. Finally, the correlation coefficient is used to distinguish between fires and objects with fire-like colors. Our proposed algorithm is tested and evaluated on eleven fire and non-fire videos collected from the internet and achieves up to 95.87% and 97.89% of F-score and accuracy respectively in performance evaluation.

In this paper the result of investigation of wear of journal bearing is presented. Different parameters as sliding speed, load, materials capacity etc, have influence on the Tribological behavior of journal bearing. The wear of journal bearings of various issues is determined and analyzed.
Flapping flight in the wake of a leading insect

This study explores the wake effects of an upstream leading insect on the flight performance of a following one. The potential-flow based aerodynamic model, which combines the unsteady panel and unsteady vortex-lattice methods, is used to compute aerodynamic loads and simulate wake structures. The accuracy of the current aerodynamic model was confirmed in this study. The paper shows that the following insect does not cause any noticeable impact on the leading insect aerodynamics, while unfavorable effects due to the presence of the leading insect were found on the following counterpart. Nonetheless, by choosing a proper wing kinematic phase, the following insect may absorb the energy of the leading insect’s trailing wake, and therefore mitigate these negative effects. The variations of the required mechanical power of the following insect against the wing kinematic phase difference were shown to be related to the travel of the leading insect’s downstroke starting vortex.

This paper presents a proposal for a multi-agent recommendation system aimed at supporting electricity consumers in making informed decisions to address energy efficiency issues. Specifically, the focus is on load shifting for household appliances. To improve the systems accuracy, we incorporate weather data, state-of-the-art models, and fine-tune hyperparameters for the agents. Additionally, we introduce an Explainability Agent to provide transparent recommendations. Finally, we explore the potential impact of this approach.
