To optimize the overall heat dissipation performance of the straight channel of a cold plate for lithium battery in vehicles, we used the wavy channel to optimize the structure and uses the face-centered central composite design (FCCCD), which takes the overall thermal-hydraulic performance factor as the response to explore the interaction mechanism of the flow field and temperature field in wavy channel of the cold plate. When the amplitude of the wavy channel is 1 mm and the number of cycles is 4, the overall thermal-hydraulic performance will reach its maximum with an increase of 17.4 % relative to the straight channel. Then, for the coolant, we explored the heat transfer performance of the nanofluid. The heat transfer coefficient of the nanofluid with a volume fraction of 2 % is 117 % higher than that of pure water and does not cause a significant increase in pressure drop.

Corrosion release behavior of Alloy 690 in high-temperature water was investigated under the conditionsof injected Zn concentrations of 0 ppb, 10 ppb and 50 ppb. A protective oxide film composed of Zn(FexCr1-x)2O4 and Cr2O3 was formed with Zn injection, resulting in a better corrosion resistance. In comparisonwith the Zn-free condition, the corrosion release rate under the Zn-injection conditions was smaller. Thecorrosion release inhibiting factors were 1.7 and 1.9 under the conditions of 10 ppb and 50 ppb Zninjectionrespectively. A foreseen application of the corrosion and corrosion release rates has beenproposed and discussed.

Cytokinin oxidase/dehydrogenase (CKXs) areinvolved in various physiological processes, includingcytokinins (CKs) catabolism, root system architecture andresponse to abiotic stresses in plants. Alfalfa (Medicagosativa) is a widely cultivated forage which is frequentlythreatened by high salinity, and the potential role of CKXs inalleviating the salt stress in alfalfa lacked attention. In thisstudy, we isolated a CKX gene from alfalfa, MsCKX(MK177192), and identified its biological functions byoverexpressing it in Arabidopsis. MsCKX shares high sequenceidentity with CKX from other legume plants, especiallyMedicago truncatula (98%). MsCKX was clearly tissuespecific, and it was mainly expressed in roots. In addition, the expression of MsCKX increased under salt stress andabscisic acid (ABA) treatment. Overexpression of MsCKXgene increased the activity of CKX, which led to an enlargedroot system in transgenic Arabidopsis plants. Overexpressionof MsCKX gene enhanced salt tolerance of transgenic plantsby maintaining a higher K+/Na+ ratio, enhancing the activities ofantioxidant enzymes to scavenge ROS and increasing theexpression levels of stress-related genes (P5CS1, DREB2,ion transporters and H+ pumps). Taken together, these resultsshed light on the roles of MsCKX involved in salt toleranceand may have applications in salt-resistant breeding ofalfalfa.
