        Microstructure and Performance Study of Al/Cu Laser Welding with Ag Interlayer

        In the past research, there was a gap in the field of Al/Cu dissimilar metal welding with Ag intermediate layer, and attention to the joint resistivity is insufficient. This paper has used laser welding to study this problem. The mechanical and electrical properties of the joints were tested, and the microstructure and fracture surface of the weld were observed, along with the analysis of their phase composition and formation mechanism. The results show that the Ag–Al–Cu ternary system forms on the weld, and Ag inhibits the formation of IMC in the Al/Cu system, with the main IMCs being Al2Cu and Ag3Al. Part of the Ag-rich and Al-rich phases are dispersed in small particle shape, providing a strengthening effect in various areas. After adjusting the welding parameters, excellent joints can be obtained, with a tensile strength of 98.05 MPa, which is 78.5% of the base metal, and a resistivity of 2.47 μΩ cm. The fracture occurs in the softened zone of the Al-side base metal, indicating a ductile fracture. These findings have demonstrated that good mechanical and electrical properties can be obtained by adding Ag as an intermediate layer of the joint.

        This paper analysis the electric power communication network structure and performance requirements. To investigate the power communication backbone network and network power substation general way, and in electric power communication network delay, error rate, network bandwidth demand were analyzed. The for prevalent in electric power communication network is not a fully meshed network, explore artificially cobweb logic change principle and system method, artificial transform sheet mesh to the standard web, and making use of the cobweb, based on the characteristics of network fast routing. In order to better in the smart grid communication network using artificially cobweb routing algorithm, for the smart grid in the presence of irregular mesh network, this paper presents a kind of the mesh network into logical artificially cobweb network general standardization method. The principle of combination of label switching, this paper presents artificially cobweb source routing algorithm, expounds the artificially cobweb routing algorithm of label switching and label update mechanism, and artificially cobweb routing algorithm balancing routing method and routing method is described in detail.

      • Load Interval Prediction of the Power System based on Type-2 Fuzzy Theory

        According to the power load has strong randomness and difficult to forecast, the introduction of the two types of fuzzy logic in order to improve the prediction accuracy. The interval type two non-single valued two type Mamdani fuzzy model for power load time series forecasting, and reverse the spread of a similarity of a singular value decomposition iterative blending algorithm to simplify the redundant rules in the model of fuzzy sets and redundant fuzzy rules, in order to eliminate the adverse effects. For ordinary type-2 fuzzy sets, uncertainty of the trace and once the membership function is the most important factor, therefore in the calculation formula for construction of two kinds of measure when considering these two factors; analysis of the ordinary type-2 fuzzy inclusion degree properties; discussed two kinds of conversion between the new measure of the relationship, revealing its internal relations; finally through an example to verify the performance of the new measure ordinary type-2, and the fuzzy similarity and Yang Shih clustering method combining cluster analysis used in Gauss plain type-2 fuzzy sets, obtained the reasonable clustering results, verify the rationality of the new measure and effectiveness.

      • Research on Exploration and Analysis of Supply Chain Flexibility Measure Index

        The supply chain risk assessment and management system has been developed, people still do not determine the way to overcome all these risks, especially for high impact, low probability events, such as SARS and the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease, or a centralized terrorist attacks. This is because the lack of historical data to make all kinds of prediction and statistical tools fail. The modern supply chain were more vulnerable to risk, supply chain risk mainly comes from many aspects of the internal and external environment, the supply chain industry products background, upstream and downstream supply chain relationship, decision support. In this paper, the establishment of a complete supply chain model with variable structure, through the simulation method for quantitative observation of supply chain flexibility curve, and abstract to describe the elastic curve of a set of parameters; after the design of simulation experiment to observe the different supply chain structure parameters (inventory level, supply chain, supplier selection for number of sources) influence supply chain resilience curve.

        Stress intensity factors for double-edged cracked steel beams strengthened with CFRP plates

        This paper presents a theoretical and finite element (FE) study on the stress intensity factors of double-edged cracked steel beams strengthened with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) plates. By simplifying the tension flange of the steel beam using a steel plate in tension, the solutions obtained for the stress intensity factors of the double-edged cracked steel plate strengthened with CFRP plates were used to evaluate those of the steel beam specimens. The correction factor <i>α</i><sub>1</sub> was modified based on the transformed section method, and an additional correction factor <i>φ</i> was introduced into the expressions. Threedimensional FE modeling was conducted to calculate the stress intensity factors. Numerous combinations of the specimen geometry, crack length, CFRP thickness and Young's modulus, adhesive thickness and shear modulus were analyzed. The numerical results were used to investigate the variations in the stress intensity factor and the additional correction factor <i>φ</i>. The proposed expressions are a function of applied stress, crack length, the ratio between the crack length and half the width of the tension flange, the stiffness ratio between the CFRP plate and tension flange, adhesive shear modulus and thickness. Finally, the proposed expressions were verified by comparing the theoretical and numerical results.

      • A Numerical Study on a Rebalancing Portfolio Model with Nonlinear Transaction Costs

        In this study, we extend the Markowitz mean-variance model to a rebalancing portfolio optimization problem incorporating realistic considerations such as transaction costs and a risk-free asset with short-selling allowed. We consider a bi-objective portfolio optimization model which we expect to yield portfolio equilibrium by combining the following two objectives: maximize the portfolio’s expected return and minimize its risk. To solve the realistic rebalancing portfolio problem, we propose an advanced, adaptive tabu search heuristic having an evolutionary neighborhood structure. For computational studies, we consider a risk-free asset and the number of risky assets to be 5, 10, 12, and 15.

        Generation of Newly Discovered Resistance Gene mcr-1 Knockout in Escherichia coli Using the CRISPR/Cas9 System

        The mcr-1 gene is a new “superbug” gene discoverd in China in 2016 that makes bacteria highly resistant to the last-resort class of antibiotics. The mcr-1 gene raised serious concern about its possible global dissemination and spread. Here, we report a potential anti-resistant strategy using the CRISPR/Cas9-mediated approach that can efficiently induce mcr-1 gene knockout in Escherichia coli. Our findings suggested that using the CRISPR/Cas9 system to knock out the resistance gene mcr-1 might be a potential anti-resistant strategy. Bovine myeloid antimicrobial peptide-27 could help deliver plasmid pCas::mcr targeting specific DNA sequences of the mcr-1 gene into microbial populations.

      • Research on GPS Receiver Data Processing Algorithm Based on Wavelet Analysis

        Reliability is an essential performance in GPS navigation system. Therefore, satellite fault detection is considered as one of the most important functions in GPS receivers. For the declining problem of the ability of fault detection for the traditional GPS satellite fault detection algorithm under the condition of small fault, a new GPS satellite fault detection algorithm based on wavelet analysis is proposed. The raw pseudorange measurements and the positioning data information are transformed by wavelet analysis and the data jumping point can be detected and identified through the different wavelet scales, and the satellite fault could be detected. Two kinds of GPS satellite fault detection methods are given in detail, and the advantages and disadvantages of them are compared. Validated by the real collected raw data from the GPS receiver, the results show that the wavelet analysis method can detect smaller mutations in a sequence of parameters, and the feasibility and effectiveness of applying the wavelet analysis algorithm in satellite fault detection for GPS receiver are verified.

        Bombyx mori Nucleopolyhedrovirus Bacmid Enabling Rapid Generation of Recombinant Virus by In Vitro Transposition

        A novel recombinant bacmid, bEasyBm, that enables the easy and fast generation of pure recombinant baculovirus without any purification step was constructed. In bEasyBm, attR recombination sites were introduced to facilitate the generation of a recombinant viral genome by in vitro transposition. Moreover, the extracellular RNase gene from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, barnase, was expressed under the control of the Cotesia plutellae bracovirus early promoter to negatively select against the nonrecombinant background. The bEasyBm bacmid could only replicate in host insect cells when the barnase gene was replaced with the gene of interest by in vitro transposition. When bEasyBm was transposed with pDualBac-EGFP, the resulting recombinant virus, EasyBm-EGFP, showed high levels of EGFP expression efficiency compared with that of non-purified recombinant virus BmGOZA-EGFP, which was constructed using the bBmGOZA system. In addition, nonrecombinant backgrounds were not detected in unpurified EasyBm-EGFP stocks. Based on these results, a high-throughput system for the generation of multiple recombinant viruses at a time was established.
