Purpose: To compare the 1-year outcomes of a durable polymer Zotarolimus-eluting stent (ZES) versus a biodegradable polymer Biolimus-eluting stent (BES) in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention. Materials and Methods: A total of 2083 patients from 2 different registries, 1125 treated with BES in NOBORI registry and 858 receivedZES in CONSTANT registry were included in this study. Clinical outcomes were compared with the use of propensity score matching (PSM). The primary endpoint was a composite of major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events (MACCEs) includingcardiac death, myocardial infarction, clinically driven target lesion revascularization and stroke. Secondary end points were individual components of MACCEs as well as the incidence of stent thrombosis at 1-year follow-up. Results: After PSM, 699 matched pairs of patients (n=1398) showed no significant difference between BES and ZES in the risk of composite MACCEs at 1 year (2.6% vs. 1.7%; p=0.36). Cardiac death was not statistically different between groups (0.7% vs. 0.4%, p=0.73). Target lesion revascularization rate was also similar between BES and ZES (1.1% vs. 0.7%, p=0.579). Non-Q wave myocardial infarction, as well as target-vessel revascularization rate, was similar between the two groups (0.14% for BES and 0.72% for ZES). Both stent types were excellent with no cases of stent thrombosis and rate of Q wave myocardial infarction reported during the follow-up period. Conclusion: In this cohort of patients treated with BES or ZES, the rate of MACCEs at 1 year was low and significantly not different between both groups.

Background: There are many mechanisms in which stress can lead to weight gain thus high a BMI. The endocrine and inflammatory pathway can directly increase abdominal adiposity. Another way in which stress leads to weight gain is through changes in health behaviors. The study aimed to investigate the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) among healthy students of Ahlia University, and to determine the relationship between the development of MSDs and academic stressors and body mass index. Methods: Self-administered questionnaires were distributed to 94 students aged 18-26 years who were enrolled at various Ahlia University colleges and met other inclusion criteria. The students responded to the standardized Nordic musculoskeletal questionnaire and the modified College Student Stress Inventory regarding musculoskeletal symptoms and academic stressors. Height and weight measurements were also obtained to determine body mass index. Results: A total of 77.66% reported MSDs in one or more body part, with the prevalence being higher among women than among men. The 7-day prevalence of MSDs severe enough to interfere with activities of daily living was 60.64%, and 44.68% by female and male students, respectively. There was a significant relationship between academic stress and MSDs in the neck, shoulders, lower back, and hips, while the relationship between MSDs, and body mass index, academic stress, and grade point average was not significant. Conclusions: The prevalence of MSDs among Ahlia University students was found to be high. Apart from the positive correlation between academic stress and MSDs in certain body parts, other correlations were not significant. (Korean J Pain 2017; 30: 126-33)
C*-compactness in L-Fuzzy Topological Spaces
Kandil,O.Tantawy,M.Yakout,S.Saleh 한국지능시스템학회 2009 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL of FUZZY LOGIC and INTELLIGE Vol.9 No.4
In this paper we introduce stronger form of the notion of cover so-called p-cover which is more appropriate. According to this cover we introduce and study another type of compactness in L-fuzzy topology so-called C*-compact and study some of its properties with some interrelation.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce concepts of fuzzy soft D-space, fuzzy soft extremally disconnected spaces and fuzzy soft hyperconnected spaces. The relationship between these concepts is investigated. The properties of fuzzy soft hyperconnected spaces are studied.
Magneto-thermo-elastic response of exponentially graded piezoelectric hollow spheres
Allam, M.N.M.,Tantawy, R.,Zenkour, A.M. Techno-Press 2018 Advances in computational design Vol.3 No.3
This article presents a semi-analytical solution for an exponentially graded piezoelectric hollow sphere. The sphere interacts with electric displacement, elastic deformations, electric potentials, magneto-thermo-elasticity, and hygrothermal influences. The hollow sphere may be standing under both mechanical and electric potentials. Electro-magneto-elastic behavior of magnetic field vector can be described in the hollow sphere. All material, thermal and magnetic properties of hollow sphere are supposed to be graded in radial direction. A semi-analytical technique is improved to deduce all fields in which different boundary conditions for radial stress and electric potential are presented. Numerical examples for radial displacement, radial and hoop stresses, and electric potential are investigated. The influence of many parameters is studied. It is seen that the gradation of all material, thermal and magnetic properties has particular effectiveness in many applications of modern technology.

Synthesis of certain 2-aminoadmantane derivatives as potential antimicrobial agents
Eisa, Hassan M.,Tantawy, Atif S.,El-Kerdawy, Mohamed-M. The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea 1990 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.13 No.1
N-(2-Amamantyl)-N-(5-arylhydrazono-6-methyl-4-oxopyrimidin-2-yl) guanidines (IIIa, b), 2-(2-admantyl-amino)-4-amino-s-triazine (IVa) and its 6-chloromethyl derivative (IVb) were prepared by cylization of 1-(2-admantyl) biguanide HCl (I) with ethyl 2-arylhydrazono-3-oxobutyrates (II), ethyl formate and ethyl chloroacetate, respectively. Where 1-(2-admantyl)-3-(4, 5-dioxo-2-imidazolidinylidene)guanidine (V) was used as intermediate for the synthesis of amides (VIIa, b), hydrazide (VIII) and azomethine derivatives (IX, b) of alkyl 2-(2-admantyl-amino)-4-amino-2-triazine-6-carboxylates (VI a, b). The antimicrobial testing of the prepared compounds proved that compound 1Xb was the most active. It showed a marked bacteriostatic effect against Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis.
Anticancer efect of some fruits peels aqueous extracts
Deyala M. Naguib,Ahmed A. Tantawy 경희대학교 융합한의과학연구소 2019 Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine Vol.19 No.4
Fruits peels are considered one of the most waste products of food industry. In this paper we attempt to get useful of these peels with low cost methods. We prepared aqueous extract of peels of apple, banana, guava, kiwi, lemon, mango, orange, papaya, pomegranate and watermelon. The anticancer activity of the extracts against diferent cell lines was examined using the cell viability test using MTT assay. The aqueous extract of peels of banana, pomegranate, orange and lemon showed the highest anticancer activity against the tested cell lines [pancreatic (AsPC1), breast (MCF7) human cancer cell lines colon cancer cell line (HCT116), larynx cancer cell line (HEP2) and liver cancer cell line (HEPG2)], as they have high antioxidant capacity. Beside that these peels extract contain high content of very important pharmaceutical compounds such as alkaloid, tannin, saponin, steroid, glycosidic cyanide, phytate, phenolic and favonoid. Kiwi and watermelon peels extract did not show any anticancer activity against the diferent tested cell lines. Also they have the lowest antioxidant and pharmaceutical compounds content.
