        효모내에 존재하는 2 μm Circle - Based Plasmids

        The replication functions associated with yeast 2㎛ plasmid were investigated. We constructed various vectors from 2㎛ plasmid and analyzed their transformation efficiency, stability, copy number and expression of hepatitis B viral surface antigen gene as a foreign gene in (cir^+) and (cir^0) yeast strains. The results showed that (i) plasmid containing complete 2㎛ circle genome showed higher stability and copy number than vector containing the segment of 2㎛ circle; (ii) plasmid derived from 2㎛ plasmid of A or B form showed similar stability and copy number irrespective of orientation of unique regions; (iii) eypression from alcohol dehydrogenase I gene promoter in 2㎛ plasmid did not affect the replication of constructed plasmids; (iv) 2㎛-based plasmid without bacterial sequences showed higher stability and copy number than chimeric plasmid, and expressed higher hepatitis B viral surface antigen gene in (cir^0) yeast strain which does not contain 2㎛ plasmid.

        스마트 안전 삼각대에 관한 연구

        This paper examines smart warning triangles to prevent secondary accidents on roads. After a traffic accident on the road, a safety tripod must be installed to notify the accident. However, it can cause secondary accidents during warning triangle installation. To solve this problem, a smart warning triangle was proposed and implemented. A smart warning triangle acts as a triangle through a logo light projector when it detects an impact. Arduino functions as an impact detector and a logo light projector. The proposed smart safety tripod is expected to help prevent secondary accidents by acting as a safety tripod if the brightness of illumination is complemented. 본 논문은 도로에서 발생하는 2차 사고를 예방하기 위한 스마트 안전 삼각대를 연구한다. 도로에서 교통사고 후, 사고를 알리기 위해 안전 삼각대를 설치해야 된다. 그러나 안전 삼각대 설치 중 2차 사고를 유발할 수 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 스마트 안전 삼각대를 제안하고 구현하였다. 스마트 안전 삼각대는 충격을 감지하면 로고 라이트을 통해 삼각대의 역할을 수행한다. 아두이노를 이용하여 충격 감지, 로고 라이트 기능을 수행한다. 제안된 스마트 안전 삼각대는 조명의 밝기 등이 보완되면 안전 삼각대로의 역할을 수행하여 2차 사고 예방에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

        호도약침액(胡桃藥鍼液)이 가토(家兎) 뇌(腦)의 Synaptosome에서 Oxidant에 의한 물질이동계(物質移動系)의 장애(障碍)에 미치는 영향(影響)

        This study was undertaken to determine whether Juglandis semen extract solution (JLS solution) exerts protective effect against oxidant-induced inhibition of glutamate uptake by synaptosomes. Synaptosome was prepared from rabbit brain cortex. Glutamate uptake increased by incubation time during 10 minutes, which was significantly inhibited by 1mM t-buthylhydroperoxide(t-BHP). JLS solution prevented t-BHP-induced inhibition of glutamate uptake in a dose-dependent manner. t-BHP reduced glutamate uptake in dose-dependent fashion, which was significantly prevented by 2% JLS solution. t-BHP(1mM) and $ascorbate/Fe^{2+}(50/1{\mu}M)$ increased lipid peroxidation in synaptosomes by 5-fold, and it was significantly prevented by 2% JLS solution. $HgCl_2(0.1mM)$ inhibited glutamate uptake and increased lipid peroxidation. These changes were prevented by 2% JLS solution. Synaptosomal Na-K-ATPase activity was inhibited by t-BHP(1mM) and $H_2O_2(50mM)$, which was prevented by 2% JLS solution. The results indicate that JLS solution prevents oxidant-induced inhibition of glutamate by synaptosomes, and this may result from inhibition of lipid peroxidation induced by oxidants.

        IoT 기반의 실내 위치 추정 기법

        본 논문은 사물인터넷 (Internet of Things: IoT) 기반의 실내 위치 추정 기법에 관한 논문이다. 현재 전 세계적으로 사물의 위치를 추정하는 방법은 GPS와 WiFi를 활용한 방법이 많이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 GPS는 실내에서 수신이 힘들고, 전파 교란에 영향을 받는 단점이 있다. WiFi를 활용한 위치 추정은 사용자가 주위의 WiFi를 스캔하여 수집한 정보를 WiFi 데이터베이스 (DB) 서버에 전송하여 fingerprint 방식으로 위치를 추정하므로, DB 서버가 필요한 단점이 있다. 사물과 사물이 통신하는 사물인터넷이 급속도로 증가하고 있다. 이러한 사물인터넷을 이용하여 실내 위치를 추정하는 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 GPS 좌표 등의 자신의 위치 정보를 가지고 있는 기기와 통신하는 다른 기기가 RSSI를 통해 위치를 추정한다. 사물인터넷을 통해 자신의 위치를 추정하는 기기가 많으면 위치 추정 정확도를 높일 수 있다. 제안된 기법은 GPS와 WiFi DB 서버의 도움 없이 위치 추정을 할 수 있다. This paper is about IoT(Internet of Things)-based indoor localization scheme. GPS and WiFi are widely used to estimate the location of things. However, GPS has drawback of poor reception and radio disturbance in doors. To estimate the location in WiFi-based method, the user collects the information by scanning nearby WiFi(s) and transferring the information to WiFi database server. This is a fingerprint method with disadvantage of having an additional DB server. IoT is the internetworking of things, and this is on rapid rise. I propose the IoT-based indoor localization scheme. Under the proposed method, a device internetworking with another device with its own location information like GPS coordinate can estimate its own location through RSSI. With more devices localizing its own, the localization accuracy goes high. The proposed method allows the user to estimate the location without GPS and WiFi DB server.

      • Factors Affecting the Maintenance of Hybrid $2{\mu}m$ Circle-Based Plasmids

        효모내에 자연적으로 존재하는 $2{\mu}m$ plasmid를 이용하여 여러 유전자 운반체를 재조합하였다. 만든 유전자 운반체들의 기능을 알기 위하여 형질 전환력, 안정도, 복제수 그리고 외래 유전자로써 HBsAg 유전자의 발현 정도를 효모 균주 SHY4 $(cir^+)$와 NNY1 $(cir^0)$에서 비교 조사하였다. 조사 결과를 정리해보면, 첫째, $2{\mu}m$ plasmid DNA를 전부 가지는 유전자 운반체가 일부만 가지는 것보다 안정도와 복제수가 높다. 둘째, $2{\mu}m$ plasmid의 A 또는 B 형태는 복제에 별다른 영향을 미치지 않는다. 세째, ADH I 유전자의 promoter로부터의 강한 전사는 재조합된 유전자 운반체의 복제에 영향을 미치지 않는다. 네째, bacterial sequences가 제외된 새로운 유형의 유전자 발현 운반체가 가장 높은 정도로 HBsAg를 세포내에 $2{\mu}m$ plasmid가 없는 효모 균주 NNY1 $(cir^0)$에서 발현시킨다.         사물인터넷 기반의 스마트 휴지통

        본 논문은 사물인터넷 기반의 스마트 휴지통에 관한 연구이다. 현대 사회에서 쓰레기 처리는 여러 사회 문제를 일으킨다. 특히 유동인구가 많은 주말의 도심에서 쓰레기 처리 용량이 쓰레기 배출량을 따라가지 못해 문제가 발생하고 있다. 넘쳐나는 쓰레기로 악취가 발생하고, 미관을 해지고, 벌레가 생기는 등의 문제가 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 스마트 휴지통을 제안하였다. 제안된 스마트 휴지통은 쓰레기 압축 기능, 휴지통 자동 개폐 기능, 쓰레기양 표시기능, 휴지통 모니터링 및 제어 기능을 제공한다. 제안된 스마트 휴지통은 유동인구가 많은 옥외의 쓰레기 처리에 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. This paper is about IoT(Internet of Things)-based smart trash can. In modern society, waste disposal creates several social problems. In particular, large floating populations cause a problem in the city center on weekends as the waste disposal capacity cannot keep up with the amount of waste discharged. There are problems such as stinks, unpleasant aesthetics, and insects caused by overflowing garbage. To solve this problem, a smart trash can was proposed. The proposed smart trash can provide a garbage compression function, an automatic opening and closing of the trash can lid, a display of the amount of garbage, and monitoring and control of the trash can. It is expected that the proposed 'smart trash can' can be usefully used for outdoor waste disposal with a large floating population.

        이동 차량을 위한 동영상 콘텐츠 전송 기법에 관한 연구

        This paper proposes a video content delivery scheme for vehicles. Today, we spend a lot of time commuting to work in vehicles such as trains and cars. In addition, the number of users who enjoy video content such as YouTube and Netflix in order to appease the boredom in the vehicle is increasing rapidly. Video content requires a larger amount of data usage than text-based content. Hence, the user's mobile communication data usage increases rapidly along with the cost. The proposed video content delivery scheme downloads a lot of video content in advance when the vehicle is in a free Wi-Fi area. In this way, it is possible to play video content in a vehicle at a low cost. It is expected that the proposed scheme can be applied to the Internet of Things(IoT) for moving objects. 본 논문은 이동 차량을 위한 동영상 콘텐츠 전송 기법에 관한 연구이다. 오늘날 우리는 출퇴근의 많은 시간을 전철, 차량 등 이동 차량에서 보내고 있다. 그리고 이동 차량에서의 무료함을 달래기 위해 YouTube, Netflix 등과 같은 동영상 서비스를 즐기는 이용자가 급증하고 있다. 동영상 콘텐츠는 텍스트 기반의 콘텐츠 보다 데이터양이 큰 특징이 있다. 이에 따라 사용자의 이동통신 데이터 사용량이 급증하고 비용이 증가하는 문제가 있다. 제안한 동영상 콘텐츠 전송 기법은 이동 차량이 무료 Wi-Fi 지역에 있을 때, 시청 중인 동영상 콘텐츠를 미리 많이 다운로드 받는다. 이러한 방법을 통해 이동 차량에서 동영상 콘텐츠를 적은 비용으로 즐길 수 있다. 제안한 기법은 이동 물체를 위한 사물인터넷(IoT)에도 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

        This research was thereby made to study and analysis ecological, landscape, and stability qualities of roadside cut Slopes in expressways and national highways that went through revegetation works. Also, evaluation items and framework for integrated assessment of plant structure and restored state for the maintenance were suggested. Following is the summary of the result. firstly, for stabilization of introduced native plant species on roadside cut slops, assessment on the post-project environmental management through long-term monitoring and maintenance works must be made. It signifies a form of authentic recovery and restoration by the native plants. second, current evaluation framework on the test beds is well managed with clear evaluation standards and table while its method of assessing the post management with only test bed results lacks conformity with this study site. Newly developed evaluation framework on the post construction sites is estimated to be used as assessment standards on any roadside construction sites. Third, after site investigation distinction was observed among different revegetating construction types in the long-term perspective. Due to the different duration time of vegetation state between seed-spray measures(degraded in time) and layer-spray measure(maintained), the use of coarse straw-mat mulching work or Coir net was suggested in long term maintenance of cut slopes. forth, segmentation of post environmental assessment is organized into three large categories of “ecological”, “stabile”, and “landscape” qualities regarding post restoration quality and stability of slope through native plants with which categories marks 50, 30, 20 points of rates. fifth, components of the post environmental assessment were segmented in twelve categories driving results from former experimental construction and newly focused items on site. In the future, it is possible to propose a customized assessment method considering the location and location of construction work if the research on the application of post-environment assessment methods for road construction surface recording is conducted systematically.
