A SPECTRALLY ARBITRARY COMPLEX SIGN PATTERN
Liu, Sujuan,Lei, Yingjie,Gao, Yubin The Korean Society for Computational and Applied M 2010 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.28 No.1
A spectrally arbitrary complex sign pattern A is a complex sign pattern of order n such that for every monic nth degree polynomial f(x) with coefficients from $\mathbb{C}$, there is a matrix in the qualitative class of A having the characteristic polynomial f(x). In this paper, we show a necessary condition for a spectrally arbitrary complex sign pattern and introduce a minimal spectrally arbitrary complex sign pattern $A_n$ all of whose superpatterns are also spectrally arbitrary for $n\;{\geq}\;2$. Furthermore, we study the minimum number of nonzero parts in a spectrally arbitrary complex sign pattern.

Nowadays, as the increasing functionality and scales of embedded systems, system design grows more complex than before. So verification and simulation of systems become an important facet in hardware-software co-design issues. But it is almost impossible to simulate an embedded system without real hardware implementation or environment communication, especially for control-dominated reactive systems. Therefore, in this paper, we will introduce a GUI environment module generator for integrated Esterel\C++ simulation. By generating the GUI modeling environment, we can simulate and verify the whole embedded system conveniently.
The Digital Transformation of Power Grid under the Background of Artificial Intelligence
Li Liu,Zhiqi Li,Sujuan Deng,Yilei Zhao,Yuening Wang 한국정보처리학회 2023 Journal of information processing systems Vol.19 No.3
Artificial intelligence (AI) plays a crucial role in the intelligent development of China’s power system. It is alsoan important part of the digital development of the power grid. The development of AI determines whether thedigital transformation of China’s power system can be successfully implemented. Therefore, this paperdiscusses the digital transformation of the power grid based on AI technologies. The author has established adigital evaluation index system to reflect the development of the power grid in one province. Both qualitativeand quantitative methods have been adopted in the analysis, which delves into the economic effectiveness, quality, and coordination of power grid development in the province in a comprehensive way. Results showthat, to meet the needs of the power grid’s digital transformation, the correlation coefficient between the powergrid’s development and the province’s overall coordination has been increasing in recent years.

Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress is mediated by disturbance of Ca2+ homeostasis. The store-operated calcium (SOC) channel is the primary Ca2+ channel in non-excitable cells, but its participation in agent-induced ER stress is not clear. In this study, the effects of tunicamycin on Ca2+ influx in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were observed with the fluorescent probe Fluo-4 AM. The effect of tunicamycin on the expression of the unfolded protein response (UPR)-related proteins BiP and CHOP was assayed by western blotting with or without inhibition of Orai1. Tunicamycin induced endothelial dysfunction by activating ER stress. Orai1 expression and the influx of extracellular Ca2+ in HUVECs were both upregulated during ER stress. The SOC channel inhibitor SKF96365 reversed tunicamycin-induced endothelial cell dysfunction by inhibiting ER stress. Regulation of tunicamycin-induced ER stress by Orai1 indicates that modification of Orai1 activity may have therapeutic value for conditions with ER stress-induced endothelial dysfunction.
