In this study, new moment-resisting precast concrete beam-column joint is proposed for moderate seismic regions. It has the connection reinforcing bars, penetrated the joint and lap-spliced with the bottom bars of precast U-beam. An experimental study was carried out to investigate the joint behavior subjected to reverse cyclic loading and constant axial compressive load. Three precast beam-column interior were tested. The variables examined were the type of connection reinforcing bars and presence of transverse reinforcement in joint. Joint performance is evaluated on the basis of connection .strength, stiffness, energy dissipation, and drift capacity. Based on the test results, the precast connection is capable of matching or exceeding the performance of the monolithic connection and thereby provides the sufficient moment-resisting behavior to be applicable for moderate seismic regions.

We investigate the relationship between domestic credit and land price using Korean and Japanese data. Our regression result shows that in both countries land price is well explained by domestic credit, interest rates, and current account. Domestic credit is found to be influenced by land price, monetary base, and foreign capital inflows. A VAR analysis also confirms that there exists an interactive effect between domestic credit and land price. With the empirical results, we offer explanations about how Korean and Japanese land price bubbles in 1980s were developed, and why the collapsing patterns of the bubbles in tow countries have been so different. We argue that financial liberalization play an important role in giving rise to different patterns of the land price fluctuations in Korea and Japan.

In this study, it was carried out separation process research and development to be able to produce high-grade tungsten concentrate form tungsten taken form Mongolia. In order to reduce treatment cost and increase separation efficiency the jig separation at first was applied for recovering the concentrate. Which reground would make the degree of liberation increase. Which was treated by shaking table to reject the gangue minerals from the first concentrate. Because the heavier product contains not only ferberite but also cassiterite, the product was treated by further dry magnetic separation to obtain the ferberite concentrate. Finally, the high-grade ferberite concentrate of 67.63% WO3 could be obtained with recovery of 86.07% through the separation process developed in this study.
광 송수신기 연결을 위한 유리집적광학 평면 광 회로 제작

본 논문에서는 유리집적광학을 이용하여 채널 도파로, Y-분리기, CWDM 등의 개별소자와 이들을 하나의 유리기판위에 평면형으로 집적하겨 제작함으로써 1.31/1.55㎛ CWDM(Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) 및 1.55㎛ 대역 DWDM (Dense WDM) 수동 광 망에 적용할 수 있도록 하였다. CWDM에 적용한 결과, 1.55㎛ 파장에서는 30㏈, 1.31㎛ 파장에서는 15㏈ 이상의 교차 비를 얻을 수 있었다. In accordance with the PON(passive optical network) could be setup, effective connections with light sources, optical detectors, and optical fibers are the best sensitive points to represent the efficiency of network. Therefore, in this paper we designed and fabricated optical transceiver connection chip that was consisted of channel waveguide, Y-branch, and CWDM on the 2" BK7 glass substrate. This chip can be used for 1.31/1.55${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CWDM network and 1.55${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ region dense WDM network.work.

본 논문에서는 Mach-Zehnder 변조기가 포함된 Sagnac 간섭기를 이용한 간단한 색분산 측정 방식을 제안하고, 제한한 시스템의 등가모델과 등가 전달함수를 유도하였다. 색분산은 2.235km 길이의 광섬유의 이용하여 측정하였으며 이론적인 값과 1500nm에서 1580nm의 파장 범위에서 매우 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. In this paper we propose the simple system for measuring the chromatic dispersion of a fiber by using Sagnac interferometer with a Mach-Zehnder modulator and induce the equivalent model and the transfer function of this system. The chromatic dispersion of fibers with length of 2.235km is measured by using this method in wavelength region from 1500nm to 1580nm and we conform that the measured results had a good agreement with the theoretical results given Corning Fiber.
