Vol.11 No.5

In this paper, a design of DC level shifter transmitting and receiving control and data signal which have various DC level through daisy chain interface between master IC and slave is introduced in the cell voltage monitoring (CVM). Circuit designed with a latch structure have a function to operate in high speed and for output of variable DC level through transmission gate. As a result of the simulation and the measurement, it was confirmed that control and data signal could be transferred according to the change of DC level from 0V to 30V. Delay time was measured about 170ns. but, it was considered as a negligible tolerance due to a parasitic capacitance of measuring probe and test board.

        여성대(Sung Dae Yeo),조태일(Tae Il Cho),신영철(Young Chul Shin),김성권(Seong Kweon Kim) 한국전자통신학회 2016 한국전자통신학회 논문지 Vol.11 No.7

In this paper, we suggest operational trans-conductance amplifier(OTA) for current-mode FIR filter that can be used in a digital circuit system requiring high operating frequency and low power consumption. The current-mode signal processing is one of the very innovative design method for a low power consumption system with high operating frequency because it shows a constant power regardless of frequency. From the simulation result using 0.35um CMOS process, when Vdd is 2V, it is confirmed that the proposed circuit showed the dynamic range of the about 1V, about 50% of supply voltage and output current swing of about 0~200uA. Also, the power consumption was evaluated with about 21uW and the active size for an integration was measured with 71um×166um.

        이현진,여성일,박준범,Lee, Hyunjin,Yeo, Seong-Il,Park, Jun-Beom The Korean Dental Association 2017 대한치과의사협회지 Vol.55 No.9

Purpose: The effects of various concentrations of ascorbic acid on stem cell spheroids derived from intraoral areas are not known yet. Thus, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of different concentrations of ascorbic acid on the morphology and cellular viability of stem cell spheroids derived from the gingival tissues. Materials and Methods: Stem cells were plated onto silicon elastomer-based concave microwells and grown in the presence of ascorbic acid at concentrations ranging from 0.003% to 0.3%. The morphology of the cells was viewed under an inverted microscope at day 1, 2, 3 and 5. Qualitative live/dead assay and quantitative cellular viability using Cell Counting Kit-8 were performed on day 2 and day 5. Results: Gingiva-derived stem cells formed spheroids irrespective of ascorbic acid concentration in silicon elastomer-based concave microwells. Increase in the diameter of spheroid were seen with higher concentrations of ascorbic acid. Higher cellular viability was seen in higher concentrations of ascorbic acid. Conclusion: Within the experimental setting, the application of ascorbic acid on stem-cell spheroids produced an increase in the size and higher viability with higher dosage. It can be suggested ascorbic acid be applied with stem cell spheroids for tissue engineering purposes.

Vol.11 No.7

본 논문에서는 IoT(Internet of Things) 시스템의 기본 구성이 되는 센서 네트워크에 사용될 수 있는 MOSFET(Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor)의 Sub-threshold 동작을 이용하는 OP-AMP(Operational amplifier) 설계를 제안한다. In this paper, we suggest the design of OP-AMP using MOSFET in the operation of sub-threshold condition as a basic unit of an IoT. The sub-threshold operation of MOSFET is useful for an ultra low power consumption of sensor network system in the IoT, because it cause the supply voltage to be reduced. From the simulation result using 0.35 um CMOS process, the supply voltage, VDD can be reduced with 0.6 V, open-loop gain of 43 dB and the power consumption was evaluated with about 1.3 μW and the active size for an integration was measured with 64 μm × 105 μm. It is expected that the proposed circuit is applied to the low power sensor network for IoT.
