      • 사상체질론의 정신의학적 타당성에 대한 연구

        연구목적 : 건간한 의대상 312명과 신경증적 장애를 가진 환자 288명을 대상으로 하였다. 사상체질의 구별은 노정우 및 김달래 두 전문가에 의한 판정, 그리고 경희의대 사상체질 설문지(QSCC Ⅱ)에 의한 판정 등 3가지 방법에 의하였다. 연구 대상에게 정신과적 증상척도(SCL-90), 체질특성척도 및 성격척도를 사용하여 자가 평가하게 하였다. 각종 척도들의 타당도와 신뢰도는 입증되었다. 이 척도들을 통계적으로 분석하고 고전적 설명과 어느 정도 일치하는 지를 검토하였다. 연구결과 : 1) 3가지 분류방법간에 차이가 컸었다. 그 중 전문가의 직접적 면담에 의한 감별보다 QSCCⅡ 설문지형이 비교적 감별력이 컸다. 3) QSCCⅡ가 감별력이 비교적 크다고 하더라도 그 결과가 소음군의 대인공포-강박증, 불면-식용상실, 무력-예민-소화기-한기-피부증후군 그리고 정력부족등 신경증적 증상과 소극-비사교적, 내향형 성격 및 이성적 성격특징 등 몇가지 특징을 감별하는 데에만 비교적 유의하였고, 태음군의 특정인 독특한 신념, 온기, 활달-사교적 성격에 대해서는 부분적으로 그 특징을 감별하였다. 또한 소양군의 활달-사교형 성격과 감정형 성격의 특징 등은 극히 부분적으로 감별하였다. 결 론 : 이러한 결과는 현존하는 사상체질 구분방법에 일치점이 결여되어 있다는 것, 각종척도를 사용한 결과는 사상체질에 관한 고전적 설명을 부분적으로만 입증하고 있다는 것, 따라서 사상체질구분에 대한 향후보다 객관적인 연구가 필요하다는 것을 시사한다. Object : This study is to examine the validity of constitutional classification of Sa-sang medical theory. This theory classifies the human constitution to 4 types according to classical oriental philosophy on yin and yang. Subjects and Method : Subjects were 312 medical students and 288 neurotic patients with diagnosis of neurotic, stress related and somatoform disorders and minor depressive episodes according to ICD-10. Medical students were classified to 4 Sa-sang Constitution Classification(QSCCⅡ). For assessmnent of symptoms and signs, Korean version of SCL-90, a constitution scale and personality scale which were designed for this study were used. These instruments were found to be reliable and valid through statistical analysis. Subjects were asked to rate these scales. The data were analysed with factor analysis and factor scores were compared among 4 Sa-sang constitutions by ANOVA and t-test. The data from patient group were analysed with factor analysis and the results were compared with the Sa-sang medical theory. Results : Results of classification by 3 ways were inconsistent showing a significant difference among them. Among them, QSCCⅡ was most reliable. In QSCC Ⅱ, only the factor scores of factors of homophobia-obsession, weakness-sensitiveness-indigestion-chillness-skin syndrome, sexual weakness, passive-unsociable personality, introverted personality and rational, personality, were significantly high in So-um (small yin) group of medical students. A factor of warmnes and active-sociable personality were significantly high in Tae-um(big yin)group. Also active-sociable and effective pesonality was partly related with So-yang(small yang)group. Conclusion : These results suggest that those present classification methods inconsistent, that these methods are proving only parts of Sa-sang medical theory, and that objective and scientific studies are needed for reliability and validity of Sa-sang medical theory.

        This paper describes the development procedure of the data acquistion system that is user oriented. This high-speed data acquistion system can measure the normal cylinder pressure and the pressure wave caused by the knock occurence. YEDAS, the developed data acquisition system for the cylinder pressure measurement, can take about 200 cycles of the engine cylinder pressures continuously at 3000rpm. Also, YEDAS can take 16 channels of temperature measurement and can control the throttle plate. The maximum speed of the data acqusition is up to 150kHz.

        초임계 이산화탄소를 이용하는 친환경 공정에 의한 다공성 고분자의 제조

        An experimental study on the preparation of monolithic porous polymers by environmentally friend process in supercritical carbon dioxide has been carried out. Polymerization mixture composed of a cross-linking monomer, initiator and functional co-polymer was charged in the reactor with sapphire window. After the system was purged with a flow of CO₂ for 15 min, the reactor was pressurized with liquid CO₂ up to 100 bars. The reactor was isolated from and placed back to the system via quick connector for shaking until the mixture had become fully homogeneous. The reactor was then heated and pressurized to the required reaction conditions and left overnight. After cooling and CO₂ evacuation, the polymer was removed from the reactor as dry, white, continuous monoliths. The effect of experimental conditions on the physical properties of porous polymer was systematically examined, and it was found that monomer content had a major effect on the physical properties of the polymers.

        1. Comparison between man and woman bowling player's bodyshape, motor ability, body composition and game score. 1) Generally, man's physique was better than woman's. 2) Man's grip strength, back strength, vertical jump, standing long jump, game score are better than woman's. 3) Woman has higher percent body fat, man has higher percent of total body water and lean body mass. 2. Comparison between man and woman bowling player's bodyshape, motor ability, body composition and game score from their difference of age. 1) Comparison of man's bodyshape has shown this result that 19years old bowling player had better ability of upper limb length and lower length than 17, 18 years. 2) Comparison of man's motor ability have shown this result that 17, 18, 19 years old player have the highest grip strength and motor ability in regular sequence,17 years old player has the best ability at zigzag run, 18 years old player has best ability at twist and touch. 3) Comparison of Woman's motor ability has shown this result that in order to 17, 18, 19 years old player has highest grip strength, back strength vertical jump, standing long jump, sit-ups, block transfer. 4) Comparison of capacity of a game score has shown this result that man and woman player who are in 17, 18, 19 years old have the highest ability in regular sequence.

        스포츠 브랜드 기업의 SNS 정보특성, 미디어 및 브랜드 인게이지먼트, 구매의도의 구조적 관계

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship amogn sport brands’ social media information traits, media and brand engagement, and consumers’ purchase intentions. Method: The study targeted consumers who have experienced sport brands’ social media and collected data through online surveys (N=546). The surveys included 28 maesurement items. The data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS software, and frequency, reliability ,and correlation analysis were performed. Further, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling were used to test the hypotheses. Results: First, the traits of entertainment and accessibility had a gsinificant positive effect on media engagement. Second, the quality of information trait had a signiicfant positive effect on brand engagement. Third, both the quality of information and accessibility trait shad a significant positive effect on consumers’ purchase intention. Fourth, media engagement had a positive efefct on brand engagement. Fifth, media engagement had a positive effect on purchase intention. Sixth, brand engagement had a significant positive effect on purchase intention. Seventh, the relationship between sport brands’ social media information traits and consumers’ purchase intention was mediated both indviidually and serially by media and brand engagement. Conclusion: Overall, the results of this study suggest that sport brand se’fforts in providing quality content on their social media platforms can generate positive enggaement with customers and may lead to purchase intentions. Further implications and future directions are discussed.

      • Structural and biochemical basis for the inhibition of cell death by APIP, a methionine salvage enzyme

        <P>APIP, Apaf-1 interacting protein, has been known to inhibit two main types of programmed cell death, apoptosis and pyroptosis, and was recently found to be associated with cancers and inflammatory diseases. Distinct from its inhibitory role in cell death, APIP was also shown to act as a 5-methylthioribulose-1-phosphate dehydratase, or MtnB, in the methionine salvage pathway. Here we report the structural and enzymatic characterization of human APIP as an MtnB enzyme with a <I>K</I><SUB><I>m</I></SUB> of 9.32 μM and a <I>V</I><SUB><I>max</I></SUB> of 1.39 μmol min<SUP>−1</SUP> mg<SUP>−1</SUP>. The crystal structure was determined at 2.0-Å resolution, revealing an overall fold similar to members of the zinc-dependent class II aldolase family. APIP/MtnB exists as a tetramer in solution and exhibits an assembly with <I>C4</I> symmetry in the crystal lattice. The pocket-shaped active site is located at the end of a long cleft between two adjacent subunits. We propose an enzymatic reaction mechanism involving Glu139* as a catalytic acid/base, as supported by enzymatic assay, substrate-docking study, and sequence conservation analysis. We explored the relationship between two distinct functions of APIP/MtnB, cell death inhibition, and methionine salvage, by measuring the ability of enzymatic mutants to inhibit cell death, and determined that APIP/MtnB functions as a cell death inhibitor independently of its MtnB enzyme activity for apoptosis induced by either hypoxia or etoposide, but dependently for caspase-1-induced pyroptosis. Our results establish the structural and biochemical groundwork for future mechanistic studies of the role of APIP/MtnB in modulating cell death and inflammation and in the development of related diseases.</P>

      • 양식 넙치(Paralichthys olivaceus)에서 발생한 랩도바이러스성 질병의 병리조직학적 특징

        2000년 4월경부터 (수온7-13℃) 우리나라 동해안과 남해안 육상 수조에서 사육되던 넙치에서 체색흑화, 복수저류, 비장종대의 육안적 소견을 보이는 질병이 발생하여 대량폐사를 불러왔다. 병리조직학적 소견으로, 비장과 신장의 조혈조직에서 괴사병변이 주로 나타났다. 비장과 신장의 간질조직에서 괴사소가 관찰되었으며, 임파구, 괴사세포의 침윤이 나타났다. 비장 조직의 전자현미경적 관찰에서 변성혈구 내 세포질에서 탄환형의 바이러스 입자가 관찰되었는데 직경과 길이가 각각 약 50nm, 170nm였다. 이상의 결과로 본 질병은 rhabdovirus에 의한 질병으로 판단되었다. On April of 2000 and February of 2001, a disease characterized by darkening, ascites and enlargement of the spleen occurred in flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus, farmed near northern and eastern coasts of Korea. Various degree of necrosis including liquefactive-type was observed mainly in hemopoietic tissue of spleen and kindney. Certain tissue such as branchial soft tissue including epithelium showed a similar necrotic findings. But some tissues such as intentine had several necrotic clusters of wandering cells, being possibly leukocytes. Necrotic evidences of blood cells were evident in various tissues including hemopoietic tissues. Necrobiotic bodies were frequently encountered in blood smear preparations. Bullet type-virious were detected in the spleenic cells. Each virion was about 500 nm in diameter and 170nm in length. From these results, this disease was thought to be a rhabdoviral disease.

      • Reforming of methane to syngas in a microwave plasma torch at atmospheric pressure

        <P><B>Abstract<ce:cross-ref refid='fn0005'> <SUP>1</SUP> </ce:cross-ref> </B></P> <P>Carbon dioxide was converted to synthesis gas (syngas) in a microwave plasma torch by methane reforming at atmospheric pressure. The microwave plasma torch converts CO<SUB>2</SUB> +CH<SUB>4</SUB> into synthesis gas. This study examined conversion rates as a function of gas temperature for dry methane reforming. The temperature of the torch flame is measured 6760K by making use of optical spectroscopy. The CO<SUB>2</SUB>/CH<SUB>4</SUB> reforming can be completely converted into synthesis gas (conversions: 68.4%, CO<SUB>2</SUB>; 96.8%, CH<SUB>4</SUB>) through their reforming reactions at a microwave power of 6kW. When the reforming gas (CO<SUB>2</SUB>:CH<SUB>4</SUB>) mole ratio was 1:1, the resulting synthesis gas (H<SUB>2</SUB>:CO) mole ratio was 0.9:1.1. The H<SUB>2</SUB> and CO mass yield rates increased to 0.24kg/h and 1.86kg/h, respectively. Also, the energy yield are 240g/h and 41.4g/kWh. The CO<SUB>2</SUB> microwave plasma torch not only exhibited noteworthy results for CO<SUB>2</SUB> reduction and syngas production, but the H<SUB>2</SUB>:CO mole ratio of the gas produced is easily controlled by adjusting the CO<SUB>2</SUB>:CH<SUB>4</SUB> ratio during the feeding process.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> A CO<SUB>2</SUB> microwave plasma torch was used to produce syngas via CH<SUB>4</SUB> conversion. </LI> <LI> Studied conversion rates as a function of gas temperature for dry methane reforming. </LI> <LI> The temperature of the torch flame was measured to be 6760K. </LI> <LI> Complete conversion of CO<SUB>2</SUB> and CH<SUB>4</SUB> into synthesis gas via their reforming reactions. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
