Molecular diffusivities of carbon dioxide in aqueous solution of 5 electrolytes were measured by gas absorption method using a laminar liquid jet. In the concentration ranges of the measured electrolytes, a linear relationship was obtained between the diffusivity and concentration of electrolyte. Dependence of the viscosity of agueous solution of electrolytes on the diffusivity of CO₂ was investigated. Their values of D?? are mostly constant and accord with the Stokes-Einstein equation. The correlation among maximum jet length and Weber number formulated as Eq.(4)

Molecular diffusivities of carbon dioxide in aqueous solution of 5 electrolytes were measured by gas absorption method using a laminar liquid jet at 25℃. In the concentration ranges of the measured electrolytes, a linear relationship between the diffusivity and the concentration of electrolyte was obatined. Furthermore, the diffusivities were correlated with the liquid viscosities by ?? =const. where n=1 for 1-1 electrolytes. The correlation among diffusivities and physical properties of aqueous solution of electrolytes formulated as Eq. (5).
