      • DPVBi유도체에 의한 유기청색발광소자의 광학적 특성 평가

        To stabilize white OLEDs with the operating voltage by two wavelengths methods, we synthesized the novel blue emitting material based on methyl & methoxy substituted DPVBi materials. Two types of light emitting devices were processed, which type I was ITO/TPD/methyl-DPVBi/Al and type Ⅱ was ITO/TPD/methoxy- DPVBi/Al structure. The PL peak wavelengths of two devices were 483㎚, 506㎚ respectively. And they were shifted to the longer wavelength compared to DPVBi(450㎚) due to electron donation effects. The peak EL emission wavelength of devices were 468㎚, 535㎚ respectively at 15 Volt.

        This study aims at exploring the effect of leadership type on Taekwondo trainees' development in sociality. in order to help as a reference for a Taekwondo training. The measuring instrument(Leadership Scale for Sport) used in the survey was developed by Chellandurai and Saleh(1980) and revised by Kim(1990). Items related with development in sociality argued by Ahn(1997) and Yeon(2001) were also used. Data were processed through SPSS. Frequency analysis was done to figure out background variables of the objects. Reliability analysis was done to verify the questionnaire reliability. Multiple regression was used to explore the effect of leadership behaviors on the trainees' development in sociality. The results were as follows Firstly, social supporting highly affected sub-factors of sociality development such as trust, justice. and patriotism. Secondly, positive rewarding behaviors highly affected sub-factors of trainees' sociality such as language use habits, responsibility. Thirdly, training and instructing behaviors by the trainers highly affected trainees' teamwork. When synthetically looking, it was found that trainees' development in sociality had various sub-factors as did the trainers' types. Accordingly, it was thought that proper custom-made training in developing sociality was important to trainees.

        폐부종과 심정지가 발생한 페노바비탈 중독환자

        Phenobarbital is a long-acting barbiturate causing generalized depression of neuronal activity in the brain. Its effect is primarily achieved through enhanced GABA-mediated synaptic inhibition. Its use as an antiepileptic agent was first described in 1912. Before the introduction of phenytoin, phenobarbital is used as sedative-hypnotics. It is used for the treatment of epilepsy and status epilepticus. All barbiturates, including phenobarbital, have a high potential for abuse. They were frequently used for suicide attempts in the past, but they have in large part been replaced by benzodiazepines. The onset of symptoms depends on the drug and the route of administration. Mild to moderate barbiturate intoxication resembles ethanol inebriation with slurred speech, ataxia, and lethargy. Severe acute barbiturate intoxication is life threatening. Early deaths are generally cardiovascular-related. Hypotension, shock, pulmonary edema, and cardiac arrest that occurs with large doses are caused by depression of central sympathetic tone and as well as by direct depression of cardiac contractility. The potentially fatal oral dose of phenobarbital is 6-10g. We describe an 23-year-old woman with pulmonary edema, and cardiac arrest ingestion of 18grams of phenobarbital. She was completely recovered by successful cardiopulmonary resuscitation and homoperfusion. We report a case with literature review.

      • 평간개울지혈탕이(平肝開鬱止血湯) 사염화탄소에(四鹽化炭素) 의한 간기능장애에 대한 영향

        This study was undertaken to determine if Pyungangaeuljyhyul-tang (PG) has a protective effect against CCL-induced liver cell injury in rabbits. Rabbits were treated intraperitoneally with 0.5㎖/㎏ of CCL₄. In experiments for PG effect, rabbits were pretreated with 2.5 ㎖ of PG for 24 hr before and 24 hr after injection of CCL₄. When rabbits were treated with CCL₄, serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) activities were increased compared with the control. Such an increase in enzyme activity was significantly inhibited by pretreatment of PG. CCL₄ treatment incrased lipid peroxidation, and its effect was prevented by PG. CCL₄ treatment resulted in a reduction of reduced glutathione (GSH) and an increase of oxidized glutathione (GSSG), which were attenuated by pretreatment of PG. These results suggest that PG could be used in prevention and treatment of drug-induced liver cell injury. However, the precise mechanisms of PG protection remain to be determined.

      • 토양으로부터 항세균성 물질을 생산하는 Streptomyces sp. 의 분리

        제주도의 토양에서 분리된 방선균 307주를 대상으로, paper disc법과 시험관 희석 배양법을 사용하여 항세균성 물질을 생산하는 균주를 선별하였다. 약 3.3%에 상당하는 분리주들이 Escherichia coli 8749, Staphylococcus aureus 6538 그리고 Pseudomonas solanacearum 10692에 대해 항균효과를 나타냈고, 그 중에서 가장 높은 항균활성을 나타내는 BL93 균주를 최종선별하여 동정하였다. BL93 균주의 배양학적, 형태학적, 생리학적, 생화학적 그리고 화학분류학적 특성을 기준으로 볼 때 Streptomyces violaceus와 유사하였기에, Streptomyces sp. BL93으로 명명하였다. 이 균주가 생산하는 항세균성 물질은 butanol보다도 물에 더 잘 녹는 극성화합물로 chloroform이나 ethylacetate에는 거의 용해되지 않았다. 100℃에서 30분간 가열 처리해도 활성의 소실이 거의 없었고, pH 3∼9범위에서 안정하였다. 분리균주 BL93은 aspartocin을 생산하는 Streptomyces violaceus와 유사함으로, BL93이 생산하는 항세균성 물질의 동정 및 aspartocin과의 비교 검토가 선행되어야 할 것이다. Three hundred and seven isolates of Actinomycetes were isolated and purified from soil samples in Cheju Is. to screen antibacterial compounds. About 3.3% of the isolates showed antibacterial activity, and one of them, BL93, showed relatively higher antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli 8749, Staphylococcus aureus 6538 and Pseudomonas solanacearum 10692 by both paper disc method and tube dilution incubation method. The isolate BL93 was similar to Streptomyces violaceus based upon its cultural, morphological, physiological, biochemical and chemotaxanomic characteristics. It was designated as Streptomyces sp. BL93. The antibacterial substance produced by the isolate BL93 had higher affinity for water than butanol and was insoluble in chloroform or ethylacetate. Most of its antibacterial activity was retained even after heating at 100℃ for 30min and was stable at pH ranges 3 to 9. As the isolate BL93 was tentatively identified to be Streptomyces violaceus, the antibacterial substance preferentially need to be identified and compared with aspartocin, an antimicrobial compound produced by Streptomyces violaceus.

        신속 조형 모형을 이용한 악 교정 수술의 정확성 예측에 관한 연구

        Rapid Prototyping(RP) models in facial asymmetry patients are used mainly for assisting diagnosis, planning treatment. It provides an easy way to measure discrepancies due to asymmetry on the model directly, and opportunity to study the bony structures of the patient and to manipulate them as required before the actual surgery. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the surgical prediction of orthognathic surgery using RP model in facial asymmetry patients. In 26 patients with facial asymmetry. We compared patient cephalogram and skull posterior-anterior view with RP model after surgery. Surfery methods were sagittal split ramus osteotomy(SSRO), intraoral vertical ramus osteotomy(IVRO), inverted L osteotomy, Le FortⅠosteotomy. Difference of two groups was analyzed and compared statistically. The results were no difference between patients and RP model is useful in selection of surgery method and prediction of surgery. In facial asymmetry, we knew that IVRO in mandibular surgery is better method than others.

        흰쥐의 파라쿼트 중독모델에서 폐손상에 대한 N-acetylcysteine과 Methylprednisolone의 효과

        Background: This study evaluated the inhibitory effects of N-acetylcysteine(NAC) and methylprednisolone on lung injury in the paraquat-poisoned rat model. Methods: Sixty rats were divided into four groups(n=15 in each group) accordingly to the drug administered : group I, only intraperitoneally injected paraquat (20 mg/kg); group II, intraperitoneally injected paraquat and NAC(300 mg/kg); group III, intraperitoneally injected paraquat and methylprednisolone(60 mg/kg); and group IV, intraperitoneally injected paraquat, NAC(300 mg/kg), and methylprednisolone(60 mg/kg). On the 7th day after injection, the survival rate of experimental rats and the positive area of collagen fiber in the injured lung stained by Masson's trichroms were evaluated. Results: 1. There were no differences in the 7-day survival rates for the four groups. 2, The percent of collagen fiber for group II(6.3 ± 4.7%) was significantly decreased in comparison with that for group I (14.4±9.7%). 3. The percent of collagen fiber for Group III(13.2±5.9%) was not significantly different from that for group I(14.4±9.7%). 4. The percent of collagen fiber for Group IV(6.9±4.6%) was significantly decreased in comparison with that for group I, but was not different from that for group II. Conclusion: These results suggest that NAC protects against pulmonary fibrosis in paraquat-poisoned rats whereas methylprednisolone does not protect against pulmonary fibrosis.

        반복적인 경련을 동반한 아이소니아지드(Isoniazid) 중독환자의 치험 1례

        Isoniazid(Isonicotinic acid hydrazide) is an antimicrobial drug used since 1952 as a first line agent for the prophylaxis and treatment of tuberculosis. Isoniazid is well known for problems in population having a high prevalence of isoniazid use for prophylaxis or treatment of tuberculosis. But intentional or accidental isoniazid overdose is uncommon. The ingestion of toxic amounts of isoniazid causes recurrent seizures, profound metabolic acidosis, coma and even death. In adults, toxicity can occur with the acute ingestion of as little as 1.5g of isoniazid. Doses larger than 30mg per kg often produce seizures. When ingested in amounts of 80-150mg per kg or more, isoniazid can be rapid fatal. 40-year-old woman having previous pulmonary tuberculosis ingested 7gram of isoniazid(140mg/kg) to attempt suicide approximately 30 minutes prior to visit to our emergency medical center. She had recurrent generalized tonicclonic seizures and metabolic acidosis. We report one patient treated with pyridoxine, which was equivalent to the amount of isoniazid ingested and administered as a intravenous dose and oral dose

        세계화 시대에 한국농업의 경쟁력 제고방안

        ○ 우리나라의 농업, 농촌은 앞으로 DDA협상 여하에 따라 상당히 어려운 국면에 처할 것이 예상됨. 어떠한 형태로이던지 농산물 시장의 확대개방은 불가피할 것이고 이에 다라 경쟁력이 취약한 품목은 위축될 수밖에 없을 것임. 그러나 DDA협상은 기회일 수도 있음. 품질의 우수성을 앞세어 가격차별화 전략으로 일본시장을 공략할 수 있기 때문임. 이 연구는 우리 농산물의 품목별 경쟁력을 분석하고 이를 토대로 경쟁력 제고방안을 제시하기 위하여 시행되었음. ○ 분석 결과 쌀, 고추, 마늘, 감귤, 사과, 복숭아, 참깨, 쇠고기, 돼지고기 등은 내수시장에서의 경쟁력이 취약한 것으로 나타났음. 특히 마늘, 사과, 참깨, 복숭아, 쇠고기, 돼지고기 등은 관세를 부과한 후에도 국내가격보다 저렴하였음. ○ 반면에, 일본시장에서 수출경쟁력을 발휘하는 품목도 있음. 신선과채류(풋고추, 토마토, 오이, 가지), 과실류(사과, 배, 감귤), 절화류(국화, 장미, 백합), 인삼, 밤, 돼지고기 등은 품질면에서는 중국보다 우수하고 가격 면에서는 선진국보다 유리하기 때문에 우리의 전략여하에 따라 앞으로 수출량을 확대할 수도 있을것임. ○ DDA협상 후의 내수시장 경쟁력을 전망해 본 결과 쌀은 어느 정도 가능성이 있는 것으로 나타났음. 즉, 초기 관세율을 400% 내외, 감축율을 20% 이내로 축소하고, 국내산 가격을 매년 3~5%씩 절감할 수 있다면 중국쌀과 충분히 경쟁할 수 있을 것임. 앞으로 중국의 쌀값은 10% 내외, 국제미가는 30% 정도 상승할 것이 예상되어 우리 쌀의 생산비 절감, 품질제고를 통한 가격차별화, 유통의 효율화 등을 꾸준히 추진한다면 내수시장에서의 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있을 것임. ○ 그러나 쇠고기, 사과, 감귤은 가격 면에서 수입산과의 경쟁력이 취약한 것으로 분석되었음. 쇠고기는 미국산보다 60~70% 비싸고, 사과와 감귤은 중국산 및 칠레산보다 30~40% 정도 가격이 높음. 식물검역 문제로 당분간 중국으로부터의 과실수입은 금지되겠지만 2005년 이후를 대비하여 품질제고, 생산비 절감 등 경쟁력 제고대책을 신속히 마련해야 할 것임. ○ DDA협상 추진일정을 감안해 볼 때 수입개방이 본격화되는 시기는 2006년부터일 것으로 판단됨. 따라서 앞으로 남은 3년 동안 수입산 농산물과 경쟁할 대비책을 수립하여 추진해야 할 것임. 이러한 대책으로는 가격경쟁력, 품질경쟁력, 마케팅경쟁력 및 수출지원 강화 정책이 있고, DDA협상력을 제고하여 우리나라 농산물시장의 개방폭을 최대한 축소하는 것도 매우 중요함. ○ 생산비절감을 통한 가격경쟁력 제고는 한계가 있기 때문에 앞으로 가장 많은 노력과 투자가 필요한 부문은 품질경쟁력일 것임. 품질제고를 통한 브랜드화와 이를 토대로 한 가격차별화 전략은 수입 농산물과 경쟁할 수 있는 가장 효과적인 방법일 것임. 신토불이를 앞세워 우리 농산물의 우수성과 안전성을 적극 홍보하고 수입 농산물의 농약잔류, 검역문제를 철저히 감시할 것이며 원산지표시제 강력 시행 및 부정유통 단속을 강화해야 할 것임. ○ 이와 동시에 마케팅 경쟁력도 제고해야 함. 최근에는 대형소매업체가 생산자와 소비자를 직접 연결하는 신유통체계가 발전하고 있으며 이들이 차지하는 비중도 점차 증가하여 2005년에는 전체 유통량의 약 절반을 차지할 전망임. 이러한 유통업체는 대량의 농산물을 안정적으로 공급해 주기를 원하고 품질의 고급화와 신뢰성을 요구하고 있음. 따라서 생산농가, 작목반, 영농회 등 생산주체를 계열화, 조직화하여 지역별 산지유통 전문조직을 육성하며 이를 토대로 품질제고와 브랜드화에 주력해야 함. ○ 또한 틈새시장 공략전술도 유효함. 유기농축산물과 소량 생산물은 품질의 우수성과 안전성을 내세워 부유층 공략, 수출시장 개발 전략을 개발해야 함. 참깨->부유층 및 고급식당 공급, 씨감자->중국 수출, 칡분말->일본 수출 등은 좋은 예임. ○ 마지막으로, 수출지원체계를 강화하여야 함. 고품질 농산물의 수출기반을 구축하고 수출에 필요한 각종 인프라 설치 및 금융지원을 강화해야 함. 해외시장 개척, 해외시장 정보의 수집, 공급, 수출지원시스템 간의 상호연계를 통한 시너지 효과를 유도하는 것도 매우 중요함.
