For small capacity rectifier circuits such as these for consumer electronics and appliances, capacitor input type rectifier circuits are generally used. Consequently, various harmonics generated within the power system become a serious problem. Various studies of this effect have been presented previously. However, most of these employ switching devices, such as FETs and the like. The absence of switching devices makes systems more tolerant to over-load, and brings low radio noise benefits. We propose a power factor correction scheme using a LC resonant in commercial frequency without switching devices. In this method, it makes a sinusoidal wave by widening conduction period using the current resonance in commercial frequency, Hence the harmonic characteristics can be significantly improved, where the lower order harmonics, such as the fifth and seventh order are much reduced. The result are confirmed by the theoretical and experiment implementations.

This paper presents a novel prototype of zero current switching pulse frequency modulation (ZCS-PFM )high frequency series resonant inverter using IGBT power module for electromagnetic induction eddy current heated roller in copy and printing machines. The operating principle and unique features of this voltage-fed half bridge inverter with two additional soft commutation inductor snubber are presented including the transformer modeling of induction heated rolling drum This soft switching inverter can achieve stable zero current soft commutation under a discontinuous and continuous resonant load current for a widely specified power regulation processing. The experimental results and computer-aided analysis of this inverter are discussed from a practical point of view.

This paper proposed that an Analysis of a partial resonant AC-DC converter for high power and power factor operates with four choppers connecting to a number of parallel circuit. To improve these, a large number of soft switching topologies included a resonant circuit have been proposed And, some simulative results on computer are included to confirm the validity of the analytical results The partial resonant circuit makes use of an inductor using step-down and a condenser of lose-less snubber. The result is that the switching loss is very low and the efficiency of system is high And the snubber condenser vised in a partial resonant circuit makes charging energy regenerated at input power source for resonant operation.
The proposed conversion system is deemed the most suitable for high power applications where the power switching devices are used.
This research presents a new active auxiliary resonant snubber with for induction heating PWM high frequency inverter solving the problem of induction heating PWM high frequency inverter circuit which is using widely in the practical application of an induction heating apparatus, the soft switching operation and power control are impossible when the lowest power supply in the active auxiliary resonant snubber with for induction heating PWM high frequency inverter. The inverter circuit which is attempted by the on-off operation of a switch has the effect of reducing the power loss due to soft switching and high frequency switching. This confirms that power regulation is possible on a continuous basis from 0.25[kW] to 2.84[kW] where the duty factor (D) changes from 0.08 to 0.3 under zero current switching which operates by an asymmetrical pulse width modulating control. The power conversion efficiency is 95[%]. Due to these results, the active auxiliary resonant snubber for an induction heating PWM high frequency inverter is considered effective as a source of induction heating.

This paper presents a simple circuit topology of the auxiliary active quasi-resonant DC link snubber-assisted three phase voltage source soft-switching inverter for small scale PM motor drive applications. The pulse processing drive circuit interface and its soft-switching operation are discussed from an experimental point of view. Moreover, its conductive noise is measured and evaluated for electrical AC servo motor drive as compared with that of the conventional hard switching inverter.

Rice takes up phosphorous (P) as major nutrient source for its growth and development when grown under anaerobic water-logged soil conditions. To better understand the underlying mechanisms and to develop potential protein biomarkers of P-starvation, hydroponically-grown rice seedlings in the complete media and phosphorus absence (P-starvation) of phosphorous nutrient solutions were investigated for physiological and proteome changes. The P-starvation manifested significant reduction in root growth in three-week-old seedlings compared to respective complete media. Furthermore, P-starvation also showed increased activity of acid phosphatase in roots of one- and three-week-old seedlings, suggesting that experimental design is suitable for proteomics survey of P-starvation responsive proteins. Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis coupled with matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometry analysis of total root protein from three-week-old seedlings identified 10 P-starvation responsive protein spots out of 140 high-quality protein spots. Identified 10 proteins were involved in metabolism and defense/stress response. Out of 10, 2 and 8 protein spots were found to be up and down-regulated, respectively. Semi-quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) analysis of corresponding genes of four randomly selected proteins, including putative glyceraldehydes-3-phophate dehydrogenase (G3PDH, spot R1), S-adenosyl-L-methionine synthetase (SAMS, spot R4), ATP synthase subunit alpha (spot R6), and root-specific pathogenesisrelated protein 10 (PR-10, spot R8), showed that just as protein abundance, these proteins are also regulated at the transcript level. Results suggest identified P-starvation responsive proteins are involved in maintaining nutrient homeostasis and/or associated with changes in root physiology under the absence of P.
