This study was conducted to develop the clonal propagation technique through in vitro culture using basal stem explants in Phalaenopsis hybrid grown in vitro. The highest frequency of protocorm-like body (PLB) formation was obtained when basal stem explants were cultured on VW medium containing 30g/L sucrose, 500 mg/L activated charcoal, 150 ml/L coconut water, 1 mg/L NAA, 5 mg/L 2iP and 2.5g/L gel rite. PLBs transferred to Hyponex medium were regenerated to plantlets. Plantlets transferred to plastic pots containing spagnum moss were developed and successfully acclimatized under greenhouse. The flower was bloomingly opened in plants regenerated from basal stem explants. The flower was not different from both mother plant and plant induced through clonal propagation of Phalaenopsis hybrid.
Effect of In-row Plant Spacing on Growth and Yield of Korean Native Allium wakegi Araki

Allium wakegi Araki was grown at plant spacings of 5, 10, 15, and 20 cm to determine the effect of planting density on the growth and yield. Allium wakegi Araki plants grown at the 5 cm plant spacing had the lowest bulb diameter and bulb weight, while plants at the lowest density (20 cm spacing) had the highest bulb diameter, bulb number, bulb weight and fresh weight. In general, plants grown at narrower spacings produced significantly smaller bulb diameter and bulb weight, but resulted in the highest yields and plants per hectare and lower fresh weights per plant.

본 연구는 대구시를 사례로 공공디자인의 시민효능감과 만족도를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 선행연구 및 이론 고찰을 통해 광역지방자치단체 공공디자인의 의의를 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 분석모형을 설정하고 공공디자인의 시민효능감과 만족도, 시민만족도의 영향요인을 분석하였다. 분석자료는 공공디자인을 이용하는 대구시민을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하고 빈도분석, 분산분석, 다중회귀분석을 시행하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공공디자인의 시민효능감에서 공공공간은 공원이 가장 높았다. 권역별로 살펴보면 칠곡, 팔공은 높은 반면 달성과 시가지는 낮았다. 둘째, 공공건축물은 공공청사가 가장 높았다. 권역별로는 칠곡, 팔공은 높았고 반면에 달성과 시가지는 낮았다. 셋째, 공공시각매체는 교통관련 시각매체가 높았다. 권역별로는 수성, 팔공이 높고 달성이 낮았다. 넷째, 공공시설물은 도로시설물이 높았다. 권역별로는 수성이 높았다. 다섯째, 옥외광고물은 건물부착형 옥외광고물이 높았고 권역은 월배와 수성이 높았다. 여섯째, 공공디자인의 시민만족도 영향요인은 공공공간, 공공시설물, 공공건축물 등의 순으로 나타났다. This study aims at analyzing civil efficacy and satisfaction about public designs with the cases in Daegu City. For this, the meanings of public designs of regional local government were reviewed through the previous studies and theories about them. And then, the analysis model was set based on them, and civil efficacy and satisfaction on public designs and factors of civil satisfaction were analyzed. The data for the analysis were collected from the surveys on Daegu citizens who use the public designs there, and frequency analysis, ANOVA, and multople regression analysis were conducted. The analysis results are as follows. First, for civil efficacy about public designs, public spaces were highest in park. By area, Chilgok and Palgong were higher while Dalseong and the downtown Daegu were lower. Second, for public buildings, public government buildings showed the highest values. By area, Chilgok and Palgong were higher while Dalseong and the downtown Daegu were lower. Third, for public visual media, traffic-related visual media were higher. By area, Suseong and Palgong were higher while Dalseong was lower. Fourth, for public facilities, road facilities were higher. By area, Suseong showed the highest. Fifth, for outdoor advertisements, those attached on buildings were higher, and Wolbae and Suseong were higher by region. Sixth, for the factors of the civil satisfaction about public designs, public spaces were highest and then public facilities and public buildings followed in order.

Time, place, and the high-tech industry to overcome barriers to the fusion of the so-called "smart agriculture" is changing the landscape of agriculture. Precision Agriculture's core temperature, humidity, location information, and summary information in real time, all significant ICT controlling technique. The system is a four-season container production for the mushroom cultivation temperature, humidity, illumination, self-regulation, such as carbon dioxide, the optimal environment for mushroom cultivation was implemented. Hericium erinaceum (also called Lion's Mane Mushroom, Bearded Tooth Mushroom, or Bearded Tooth Fungus) is an edible mushroom and medicinal mushroom in the tooth fungus group. Native to North America, Europe and Asia it can be identified by its tendency to grow all the spines out from one group (rather than branches), long spines (greater than 1 cm length) and its appearance on hardwoods. About 40 days of incubation 1.5kg oak sawdust was used as the test medium bag. The humidity was maintained more than 85~95% and temperature was 18~20°C, and CO2 density was 500~1,000ppm. The days for primordium formation showed us 6~12 days. The amount of fruitbody production was 110~260g per bag. This technique to establish new community support program in conjunction with the international movement, domestic sales and exports are also planned.

<P>A mitochondria-targeting ratiometric probe was designed for gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase (gamma GT). Mechanistic study by HPLC and an inhibitor assay showed that the probe underwent gamma GT-mediated amide-to-amine transformation and induced a ratiometric fluorescence response in cellular mitochondria. The transcriptional activator AphB has been implicated in acid resistance and pathogenesis in the food borne pathogens Vibrio vulnificus and Vibrio cholerae. To date, the full-length AphB crystal structure of V. cholerae has been determined and characterized by a tetrameric assembly of AphB consisting of a DNA binding domain and a regulatory domain (RD). Although acidic pH and low oxygen tension might be involved in the activation of AphB, it remains unknown which ligand or stimulus activates AphB at the molecular level. In this study, we determine the crystal structure of the AphB RD from V. vulnificus under aerobic conditions without modification at the conserved cysteine residue of the RD, even in the presence of the oxidizing agent cumene hydroperoxide. A cysteine to serine amino acid residue mutant RD protein further confirmed that the cysteine residue is not involved in sensing oxidative stress in vitro. Interestingly, an unidentified small molecule was observed in the inter-subdomain cavity in the RD when the crystal was incubated with cumene hydroperoxide molecules, suggesting a new ligand-binding site. In addition, we confirmed the role of AphB in acid tolerance by observing an aphB-dependent increase in cadC transcript level when V. vulnificus was exposed to acidic pH. Our study contributes to the understanding of the AphB molecular mechanism in the process of recognizing the host environment.
