        We are living in a world that is increasingly digital and undergoing dramatic changes as a result. In particular for luxury fashion, growing numbers of online customers as well as fast changing business environment, luxury retailers face the challenge of differentiating themselves by offering a better online customer experience (Chen et al. 2021). By doing so, luxury fashion retailers are increasingly deploying chatbots in their service encounters to enhance customer experience (Roy & Naidoo, 2021). Chatbots are powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) (Hoyer et al. 2020) and are an example of AI robot that can provide human-computer interactions on a retail website (Lee et al. 2017). Intended to enhance the online customer experience, chatbots have the potential to provide a better understanding of the product performance, enable efficient use of customer time, and help build crucial customer relationships (Rese et al. 2020; Wilson-Nash et al. 2020; Xu et al. 2022). Therefore, chatbots’ potential has been highly valued by fashion retail industry and academia (Jiang et al. 2022).

        Dramatic Representation of the Gendered Other in Harold Pinter’s The Room

        This paper examines Harold Pinter’s first play The Room (1957) focusing on an immured heroine (Rose), who becomes the gendered Other without female subjectivity. She is marginalized and trapped, literally and metaphorically, in the precarious domestic location of the room while her space is successively intruded by visitors. The Other is an important philosophical concept in existentialism and has well been applied to the feminist criticism. Drawing on the existential theories of the Other, including Simone de Beauvoir’s pioneering articulation in The Second Sex (1949), the study contextualizes Pinter’s play and analyses the dramatic discourses and ambiguous interactions between Rose and other characters - her domineering husband, the talkative landlord, the mysterious black visitor, and a young married couple hunting to rent the room of the play’s title. In doing so, the paper argues that The Room serves as a disconcerting metaphor to demonstrate how men try to disempower and control women as a means to consolidate their dominant position in the territorial room and, by extension, in the society dominated by white, patriarchal ideology.

        셀프서비스 기술에서의 서비스 품질 평가: 무인주문결제기술에 대한 근거이론 접근

        Advances in information and communication technology have introduced self-service technologies (SSTs) to service companies, changing the way they serve. In addition, as SSTs are expanding for low cost and high efficiency, opportunities for technology to interact with consumers have increased. Restaurant managers have the advantage of the SSTs win-win strategy, which allows consumers to freely receive the products or services they want, but some consumers have low satisfaction of the SSTs, especially elder people and the blind. This study examines the effect of unmanned order payment technology on service quality evaluation. For this, we interviewed a total of 12 consumers in their 10s to 50s with the experiences of using unmanned order payment technology, applying the Grounded Theory Method(GTM). Through a review of the research participant interview materials, totally 84 concepts were derived and the concepts were analyzed to derive 15 subcategories and 10 upper categories. Finally, a paradigm model of the effect of unmanned order payment technology on service quality assessment was derived. It also found the importance of consumers' sense of obligation to use unmanned order payment technology, recognition of advantages (e.g., time savings), recognition of shadow labor, and recognition of whether the technology usage process is in the service quality assessment stage.

      • Research on the Optimization Model of the Supply Chain with Concurrent Negotiation Particle Swarm Optimization

        In allusion to the production and marketing problems among the supply chain enterprises, the multi-agent technology is applied in the two-stage supply chain to establish a concurrent negotiation model under incomplete information constraint. The coordination strategy based on particle swarm optimization can update the belief value of the negotiating agents during the negotiation process, thus to further support the continuous negotiation. The simulation result not only verifies the feasibility and the effectiveness of this model, but also shows that this model is superior to other concurrent negotiation models in the aspects of negotiation result utility, negotiation time and negotiation success rate.

      • Influence Maximization Social Networks Hybrid Algorithm Based on Linear Threshold Model

        Aiming at the problems such as the HIM algorithm has a very high time complexity and cannot be applied in the large social networks and so on, and this paper puts forward the hybrid influence maximization algorithm. The algorithm carries out the detailed experiments on 6 real data sets with different characteristics. The experiments show that compared with the HIM algorithm, the algorithm in this paper has great improvement in the scope of influence.

        Critical Reviews of NBA Official Data based on Sport Analytics

        Purpose: This study was to identify and to recognize the critical moment of NBA official data using sport analytics techniques. Previous studies have already had the research area on the basketball that the sport science was to be applied into enhancing of performance in the practice. The official data was recently considered in many researchers that the official data has been gathered by scientific methods such as advanced technologies. Current trend of performance analysis of sport intends to extent the data range that the official data could be gathered from the official website and it would be a massive dataset. Method: The sport analytics techniques using big data analysis were utilized that the NBA official data from 2015-2016 to 2020-2021 seasons contained more than 3,040,000 events. The Python scripts to gather the NBA official data were utilized and the gathered data as csv format. All analysis of data was executed within R studio with R programming that the changes of numbers of events between seasons and successful rate of each events were compared in this study. Statistically, the frequency analysis was used for the determination of data. Results: This study was to recognize the critical moment among the NBA official data that there were two find-ings mainly. First of all, frequencies of events on 2-pt jump shots have been decreasing and frequencies of events on 3-pt jump shots have been increasing between season. Particularly, the short-distance shots such as 2-pt tip-in, 2-pt layup, 2-pt jump shots were more presented in each season than the long-distance shots. Secondly, the successful rate of shots and outcomes between season have not been differently presented. Conclusion: Consequently, this study has found the displacement of critical changes within the official NBA data that it could indicate the originality of basketball match rather than characteristics of playing. It is also important that the playing trend would be differently observed when the skill or players’ style was able to be consid-ered. Further research is also required that the critical point of recording change on the sequencies of time line would need to be concerned.

        Fast-response thermo-sensitive actuator based on asymmetric structured PNIPAM hydrogel with inorganic particles embedding

        Hydrogel actuators have potential applications in many fields because of their multiple responsiveness to environmental stimuli. However, it is still very challenging to design a hydrogel actuator with simple preparation, fast response, and good mechanical properties. In this work, a facile and convenient method to obtain a fast responsive hydrogel actuator has been successfully developed by embedding uniform inorganic particles into Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) hydrogel network to form an asymmetric structure. By controlling the types and contents of inorganic particles, a wide range of adjustable actuation property can be achieved. At the same time, the introduction of inorganic particles greatly increases the mechanical properties of hydrogels, which is also very important for actuation performance improvement of hydrogel actuators. The optimized hydrogel exhibits relatively fast bending deformation under thermal stimulation (60 ℃), with a bending velocity of about 13.0° s−1 within first 10 s and a bending amplitude of about 328.1° within 1 min. The hydrogel can be designed to be temperature-controlled claw actuators with programmable shapes, indicating its application prospects in encapsulating, grasping, and transporting objects in water environment.

        Anti-fouling characteristic of carbon nanotubes hollow fiber membranes by filtering natural organic pollutants

        Membrane fouling is a universal problem for conventional membrane filtration that usually causes a deterioration in membrane performance. We used electro-assisted carbon nanotubes hollow fiber membranes (CNTs-HFMs) to investigate the anti-fouling properties using natural organic pollutants. Benefiting from the electro-assistance, the permeation flux of humic acid solution using CNTs-HFMs was 190.20 L/(m2·h·bar), which was about 1.5- and 4.4- times higher than those of CNTs-HFMs without electro-assistance and traditional polyvinylidene fluoride hollow-fiber membranes (PVDF-HFMs). And the permeation fluxes of bovine serum albumin, sodium alginate and supernatant of anaerobic bioreactor also presented similar results. The average COD removal rate of CNTs-HFMs (66.8%) at 1.0 V was higher than that of CNTs-HFMs without electro-assistance and PVDF-HFMs, which can be attributed to the formation of electrostatic repulsive force. It could reduce the deposition of pollutants on membrane surface under electroassistance.
