매복치의 교정치험례(Orthodontic Case Report of the Impacted Teeth)

The first patient of this case was 13 year and 8 month old girl who had the Angle's class I malocclusion with uneruption of upper left central incisor and left canine. The second patient was 12 year old boy who gad the Angle's class I malocclusion with uneruption of right central incisor. After surgical exposure of impacted teeth of those patients and bonding of attachment on exposed crown, those teeth were orthodontically pulled with removable appliances. The results were obtained as follow. 1. The functionally proper occlusion was established by guidance of the impacted teeth into the normal position in the arch. 2. Establishment of esthetic and balanced arch form was achieved. 3. The possibility of restorative prosthetic treatment induced by extraction of impacted teeth was eliminated. 4. The psychologic relief of pubertal patient who was very sensitive to facial esthetics was gained.

The objective of this research is to closely examine the relationship between university students' participation in domestic sports and satisfaction levels of leisure. In order to achieve such an objective, the following factors will be closely examined. Firstly, the difference between the participation in domestic sports and the satisfaction levels of leisure is to be discussed according to the demographic characteristics. Secondly, the difference between the satisfaction levels of leisure is to be discussed according to the participation level of university students in domestic sports. Thirdly, the relationship between the participation level of university students in domestic sports and the levels of leisure is to be clearly discussed. According to that, this research focuses mainly on teams formed by male and female undergraduates from the four-year universities located in Chuncheon-city, Kangwon-do. Using a method of simple random sampling, a total of 150 students have been selected as sample groups for those who participate in sports-related clubs and domestic physical programs. Also, a total of 150 students, with the same method of selection as before, have been selected as sample groups for those who do not participate in domestic sports. As a result, a total of 300 students have been selected as sample groups. The instruments of gathering information for this research include the leisure satisfaction scale(LSS) developed by Beard and Ragheb(1980) and adapted by Lee, Jong-kil(1992). The levels of confidence and propriety for this research have been verified by questionnaires prepared by the instruments. The level of confidence for the questionnaires has shown a result of Cronbach α = .689~.894, regarded as being extremely high. Methods of correlation, one-way ANOVA and t-test have been used with SPSS Windows 10.0 Version, in order to investigate the relationship between university students' participation in domestic sports and satisfaction levels of leisure. For the post-examination, a method of Scheffe' test has been used at a significant level of 5%. The following results have been obtained from the analysis of gathered information according to the objective of this research. Firstly, among the special demographic factors of university students who participate in domestic sports, there are significant differences for the satisfaction levels among grades, household profits, health levels and credits. However, there is no significant difference between genders. Secondly, the university students who participate in domestic sports show high levels of leisure satisfaction, compared to those who do not. Thirdly, the participation level of university students in domestic sports contributes to the level of leisure satisfaction.

The MYB transcription factors play important roles in the regulation of many secondary metabolites at the transcriptional level. We evaluated the possible roles of the Arabidopsis R2R3-MYB transcription factor genes in flavonoid biosynthesis as they are induced by UV-B irradiation but are largely unexplored in terms of their associated phenotypes. We found that one member of this gene family, AtMYB60, inhibits anthocyanin biosynthesis in the lettuce plant. Wild type lettuce normally accumulates anthocyanin, predominantly cyanidin and traces of delphinidin, and develops a red pigmentation. However, the accumulation of anthocyanin pigments in AtMYB60 overexpressing lettuce was inhibited. We further found a complete absence of DFR transcripts in AtMYB60 overexpressing lettuce, whereas other biosynthetic genes in the anthocyanin metabolism pathway were expressed. To provide genetic tools the regulation of seed color of rapeseed which has been target for fuel, AtMYB was overexpressed in rapeseed. Transgenic plants showed lighter seed color and improved tolerance to abiotic stress than the wild type plants. The elucidation of the roles of the AtMYB60 transcription factor will facilitate further studies and provide genetic tools to better understand the regulation in plants of the genes controlled by the MYB-type transcription factors.
