Al₂O₃-Al₂S₃의 相 관계를 300℃에서부터 1200℃ 사이에서 조사했으며 Al₂O₃의 유황 고용체 (Al₂(O, S)₃)가 물에 녹는 현상을 발견했다. Al₂S₃-ZnS의 상관계를 초기적인 단계에서 실험했으며 ZnAl₂S₄의 intermediate 相툴을 합성했으며 이것은 spinel과 Wurtzite의 결정 구조를 가졌다. Fine-mapping identifies two additional breast cancer susceptibility loci at 9q31.2

<P>We recently identified a novel susceptibility variant, rs865686, for estrogen-receptor positive breast cancer at 9q31.2. Here, we report a fine-mapping analysis of the 9q31.2 susceptibility locus using 43 160 cases and 42 600 controls of European ancestry ascertained from 52 studies and a further 5795 cases and 6624 controls of Asian ancestry from nine studies. Single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs676256 was most strongly associated with risk in Europeans (odds ratios [OR] = 0.90 [0.88–0.92]; <I>P</I>-value = 1.58 × 10<SUP>−25</SUP>). This SNP is one of a cluster of highly correlated variants, including rs865686, that spans ∼14.5 kb. We identified two additional independent association signals demarcated by SNPs rs10816625 (OR = 1.12 [1.08–1.17]; <I>P</I>-value = 7.89 × 10<SUP>−09</SUP>) and rs13294895 (OR = 1.09 [1.06–1.12]; <I>P</I>-value = 2.97 × 10<SUP>−11</SUP>). SNP rs10816625, but not rs13294895, was also associated with risk of breast cancer in Asian individuals (OR = 1.12 [1.06–1.18]; <I>P</I>-value = 2.77 × 10<SUP>−05</SUP>). Functional genomic annotation using data derived from breast cancer cell-line models indicates that these SNPs localise to putative enhancer elements that bind known drivers of hormone-dependent breast cancer, including ER-α, FOXA1 and GATA-3. <I>In vitro</I> analyses indicate that rs10816625 and rs13294895 have allele-specific effects on enhancer activity and suggest chromatin interactions with the <I>KLF4</I> gene locus. These results demonstrate the power of dense genotyping in large studies to identify independent susceptibility variants. Analysis of associations using subjects with different ancestry, combined with bioinformatic and genomic characterisation, can provide strong evidence for the likely causative alleles and their functional basis.</P>

This study aimed to take a closer look at accuracy and response time of vocabulary tasks between children from multicultural families and non-multicultural families. Thirty multi-cultural children and CA matched non-multicultural children, who have normal intelligence, attended to computerized receptive and expressive vocabulary test including three word classes (noun, verb, adjective). Significant differences were observed in overall accuracy of expressive vocabulary tasks, but not in receptive tasks. Compared to non-multicultural children, children from multi-cultural families performed significantly poorer in noun items both receptive and expressive tasks. Verb accuracy, however, was significantly lower only in expressive tasks. None of the analyses of response latency reached significant differences between the two groups. Results are discussed in terms of performance differences between overall tasks and separate word class items, and the roles of perceptual-motor skills and language experience for processing speed observed in response time. Despite partly deteriorated accuracy, multicultural children have comparable processing speed, and this implies that they differ from the language-impaired population.
The impact of body armor on physical performance of law enforcement personnel

Background: The law enforcement officer profession requires performance of arduous occupational tasks while carrying an external load, consisting of, at minimum, a chest rig, a communication system, weaponry, handcuffs, personal protective equipment and a torch. The aim of this systematic review of the literature was to identify and critically appraise the methodological quality of published studies that have investigated the impacts of body armour on task performance and to synthesize and report key findings from these studies to inform law enforcement organizations. Methods: Several literature databases (Medline, CINAHL, SPORTDiscus, EMBAS) were searched using key search words and terms to identify appropriate studies. Studies meeting the inclusion criteria were critically evaluated using the Downs and Black protocol with inter-rater agreement determined by Cohen’s Kappa. Results: Sixteen articles were retained for evaluation with a mean Downs and Black score of 73.2 ± 6.8% (k = 0.841). Based on the research quality and findings across the included studies, this review determined that while effects of body armour on marksmanship and physiological responses have not yet been adequately ascertained, body armour does have significant physical performance and biomechanical impacts on the wearer, including: a) increased ratings of perceived exertion and increased time to complete functional tasks, b) decreased work capability (indicated by deterioration in fitness test scores), c) decreased balance and stability, and d) increased ground reaction forces. Conclusions: Given the physical performance and biomechanical impacts on the wearer, body armour should be carefully selected, with consideration of the physical fitness of the wearers and the degree to which the armour systems can be ergonomically optimized for the specific population in question.
