To carry out the analysis of the extruding products, it is necessary to get the optimum computation of extruding force for the extrusion. The existing numerical models of extrusion may be large different from the actual conditions. In this study, accurate theoretical analysis of the extrusion forming and optimum extruding force should be subjected. It is to develop the numerical models which describes the optimum extrusion force. Therefore, the results should improve accuracy of extrusion forming and cause the energy saving for the extrusion.

To carry out perfectly the forming analysis of the deepdrawing products, it is necessary that the friction boundary condition between dies and blanks should be worked out the accuate numerical friction models. But the numerical friction models adapting in the conventional plate forming software may be large different from the actual conditions. Especially, the use of the existing forming software is possible only in the limitted range owing to the unaccuracy of the high speed forming work. Therefore, the prepare of this study is to develop the numerical friction model which describes the friction boundary condition mathematically well, to improve the accuracy of the plate forming analysis, and finally to expand the applying areas of the results.
A Study on the Singular Behaviors of Integro-Differential Equation in Contact Thermoelastic Problems

A heat resistance relation is based on the resistance (R) to heat transfer through the gap that is a linear function of distance from the tip of the separation zone. The governing integro-differential equation are reduced to Cauch type singular integral equations, and solved numerically using a quadratic interpolation. The singular behaviors of the thermal vortex and elastic dislocation densities at the tip of the separation zone is also obtained. From this study, it is concluded that the variable singularity exponent is determined by the constant characterizing the thermal resistance function. The object of this work is to solve the thermal loaded exterior elastic contact problem using modified boundary condition, to supply some useful engineering results for the contact thermolelastic problem and, in addition to demonstrate that the lack of uniqueness is not removed by introducing the modified boundary conditions. Here, the modified boundary conditions represent no resistance to heat flow in the contact zones and finite resistance through the gap in the separation zones. The system treated consists of two semiinfinite solids that are pressed together by applied pressure and transit a remotely established uniform heat flux in the direction normal to the interface. The problem is posed in the framework of linear thermoelasticity, assuming plane strain conditions.

미국산 석탄을 스러리 수송하여 한국의 서해안(고저리)에 석탄가스 복합발전, 메탄올 및 간접합성가솔린(M-Gasoline) 병산제조 플랜트를 건설 했을때의 기술적, 경제적 타당성을 검토하였고 그 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.<br/> ㅇ 기존 수송방법의 호주탄에 비해 미국산 스러리탄을 스러리 수송하는 경우 약 27-30% 정도 저렴하며, 경유에 의한 복합발전에 비해 석탄가스 복합발전이 보다 경제적이다.<br/> ㅇ 자동차 연료로서의 메탄올 및 합성가소린은 전체 유통시스템을 고려않고 공장도 가격 기준시 80년도 8월 석유가 인상으로 현재에도 경쟁력이 있으며,<br/> ㅇ 발전 및 열생성 연료로서의 메탄올은 80년대 중반에 들어서면 가격면에서 경유 및 중유와 경쟁력을 갖추게 된다는 결론을 얻었다.<br/> 이상의 결과를 토대로 전력 및 자동차산업에 끼치는 영향을 간략하게 분석 가능한 해결책을 제시하였다. A technical and economical feasibility study has been performed for constructing an integrated plants at Go Jung Ri utilizing u.s. western coal slurry as raw material.<br/> The integrated plants would consist of a coal gasification plant, combined cycle power plant, methanol and M-gasoline synthesis plant. The feasibility study has been performed and the following results were produced.<br/> ㅇ. Compared to the conventional Australian bulk coal supply system, u.s. coal utilizing slurry transportation system costs less by 27 to 30%. Coal slurry synthetic gas combined cycle power generation is much more economical than gas oil combined cycle.<br/> ㅇ. Since the last local petroleum price rises on August, 1980, methanol and M-gasoline became competitive as automobile fuel on the basis of plant site price, although additional capital costs are expected for the new distribution system.<br/> ㅇ. It is concluded that fuel grade methanol from the proposed system would become more economical compared to gas oil and fuel oil after 1986.<br/> On the basis of the results, the impact of the proposed system on the domestic utility and automotive industry have been discussed.
노트북 PC용 히트파이프 냉각시스템의 성능에 관한 실험적 연구

The increasing power and particularly the CPU power, coupled with the continuous shrinking size of current notebook PC, have made the thermal management one of the critical factors in the notebook PC design. The heat pipe has become a widely used thermal management tool in the notebook PC industry. Approximately 60% of current notebooks utilize heat pipe in their thermal management solutions. This paper provides a RHE,s(Remote Heat Exchanger) maximum heat transfer rate and the thermal resistance of heat pipe thickness changes and also bending or non-bending types. So, the discussions about the thermal discharge performances of RHE in the range of 1.6 ~ 2.0mm heat pipe thickness are pursued.
