Many contemporary, fashion-forward and veiled Muslim women choose social media to routinely upload and post pictures of their outfits and fashion styles, but not all are necessarily acquiescent to the parameters of modest-wear according to Syar’ie (Islamic law). While much has been said about the hijab and the women who choose to wear them (or otherwise), contending perspectives can be difficult to reconcile because they are seldom situated within the context of meanings attached to the Islamic concept and practice of modesty, al-hayā’. Additionally, while work on feminist narratives of embodiment and Muslim identity politics have proliferated, the quotidian performativity of #hijabfashion within the hypervisible world of social media like Instagram is still systematically under-researched. This paper discusses the concept of modesty from an Islamic point of view and explores how it is performed, negotiated, and regulated within the context of a popular social media platform. This helps us explore an alternative contextualization of contemporary Muslim life, specifically in today’s world of increasing commodification, and at times, ostentatious materialism; and contribute to the discourse and evolving imaginations of “who is a Muslim?” – away from Orientalist views and the dominant gaze of veiling as “exotic,” “other,” or as destabilizing symbols of terror, subjugation, and subservience

Mohamad Noraini,Sulaiman Zaharah,Tengku Ismail Tengku Alina,Ahmad Sahida 대한가정의학회 2021 Korean Journal of Family Medicine Vol.42 No.4
“Rusty pipe syndrome” is a condition that needs to be considered in a primiparous woman who presents with bilateral bloody nipple discharge in the early postpartum period. Its prevalence is low and can occur due to physiological condition that arises primarily in primiparous women with increased alveolar and ductal vascularization associated with the onset of lactation. Here, we report a case of a 29-year-old primigravida who presented with bilateral painless bloody nipple discharge after delivery. Her breast examination showed no signs of infection or structural changes, and breast ultrasound did not reveal any significant observations except for a bilateral simple breast cyst. Six days after the onset of lactation, the bloody nipple discharge ceased and lactation continued on demand.

Urban green rating system in the ASEAN region is rather new. Even though certain Green Building Institutes/Green Building Councils (GBIs/GBCs) in the ASEAN region have its Green Township Assessment Criteria (GTAC) been developed and implemented but there is no post-occupancy evaluation being conducted in assessing the effectiveness and sustainability level of the certified township? Thus, embark the research problem whether urban neighborhood assessment criteria and project fulfilled the effectiveness and sustainability concept according to sustainability dimension pillars (SDP). The research aim and objectives is to identify and formulate Post-Occupancy Evaluation Model (POEM) based on SDP towards sustainable neighborhood development for ASEAN region. The study scope focused on Green Building Index (GBI-TAC Malaysia) certified neighborhood project and Green Urban Village Development in Thailand which was occupied for more than one year. The stakeholder-inclusion approached is used in this research in order to gather end-users experiences regarding the proposed POEM for sustainable neighborhood development. The findings suggested there is an adaptation gap of SDP in current GTAC and also significant differences between pre-occupancy and post-occupancy theory and variables, hence lead to further review and refinement towards sustainable neighborhood development in the ASEAN region.
