        Analysis of the Traditional Setting-up as an Application for Spatial Composition

        Recently, there is a new issue, among the contemporary people, for new life style, such as green design and well being. This trend brought up the necessity that there should be alternatives for interior spatial design. In order to catch up with these new issues, the new convenient and environment friendly methods are in need. Space composition using setting-up is skill that can express both the structural aspect and esthetic because it represents traditional beauty into the contemporary age through the structural rigidity and formal beauty. Also the lumber, as main materials for setting up, is in line with well being life style and environment friendliness. The construction of structure by setting-up has advantages in terms of the reuse and the convenience in that the construction of structure is adjustable according to environment. And setting-up has enough plasticity not only because of its own role as linking the objects but also because of being framed by itself. Therefore setting-up will be a design element, if it is expressed outward. Thus, this study aims to give a guide line about how to apply the result from the evaluating that "what is the most suitable setting-up" and "what is the most suitable detail setting-up", based on that structural rigidity, decorativeness and the ease of works. As a result of evaluation, the most excellent types of setting-up in terms of structural rigidity are "Jangbu" and "Panjae" and "Yeongui". The most excellent types of setting-up in terms of decorativeness are "Panjae" and "Yeongui", and the most excellent type of the ease of work is "Mat". And also the most applicable detail setting-up for the utilization of spatial composition is proposed.

        雛白痢와 마이코프라즈마病의 撲滅을 위한 全血平板凝集反應, 抗菌劑內 種卵沈積 및 加溫處理等의 效果에 關한 硏究

        To control Mycoplasma gallisepticmn(MG) and Mycoplasma synoviae(MS) preincubation dipping in antibiotic solution and heat treatments were applied to experimentally infected hatching eggs. For Salmoeela pullorum(SP) repeated test and slaughter methods were employed to deterimine reduction rate of SP positive chicken. In addition, to determine the infection rate of MG, MS and SP in breeder chickens several field flocks were tested for their antibody status. In breeder folcks tested, positive reactors to SP, MG and MS were 5.6%, 30.5% and 61.8%, respectively.

        전통짜임의 활성화를 위한 조형적 분석

        본 연구는 전통공예기술인 짜임을 현대 가구디자인에 활용하기 위해 조형적인 분석을 통해 사용자가 쉽게 접할 수 있도록 체계적으로 정리하여 보급하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 정리된 짜임의 분석 자료를 토대로 가구를 제작하는 데 쉽게 적용할 수 있도록 하기 위해 기본적으로 짜임을 이용한 가구로 생성될 수 있는 형태를 조사한 결과, 판재+판재의 결합으로 이루어진 가구, 판재+각재 2축의 결합으로 이루어진 가구, 판재+각재 3축의 결합으로 이루어진 가구로 나누어 볼 수 있었다. 그리고 가구의 위치에 따라 사용되는 짜임을 파악하기 위한 분석으로 가구의 상부에 주로 사용되는 짜임의 종류와 가구의 중앙부에 사용되는 짜임, 가구의 하부에 주로 사용되는 짜임으로 분류하여 각각의 짜임을 분석하여 정리하였다. 이와 같이 짜임은 그 사용되는 위치나 가구의 형태에 따라 그 구조를 이루는데 필요한 짜임이 다르다. 그래서 일반인들이 처음 짜임을 접할 때는 어떤 짜임이 어디에 사용되어야 되는지 파악하기가 힘들다. 따라서 본 연구에서 가구의 조형분석을 통해 가구의 형태별, 가구의 위치별로 적용할 수 있는 짜임을 분석하여 정리함으로써 장인이 아닌 일반인들에게 대중적으로 짜임의 활용도를 높일 수 있는 계기가 될 것이다. This study aims to analyze the formativeness of zzaim (traditional craft techniques to combine two or more materials to make an angle or to weave them to make a slope side) and systematically classified these techniques to help furniture manufacturers effectively utilize them in the design of contemporary furniture. From this data, furniture manufacturers can have benefits to understand which type of zzaim techniques will be appropriate to their plan of building furniture, and practically use relevant techniques in the field. This study classified four different applications of zzaim techniques depending on sites, such as (1) the top, (2) middle body, (3) lower body, and (4) legs of furniture. In summary, zzaim techniques are differently applied depending on the application sites and formative types of furniture. This feature makes general furniture manufacturers who want to apply zzaim techniques for the first time have hard time to understand which kind of technique should be applied to which part. Recognizing this problem, this study expects general manufacturers as well as master artisans to more effectively utilize zzaim techniques by providing the systematic data on the formative analysis of types of furniture and application sites.

        전통공예기술의 현대적 활용

        우리나라에서 전통 공예는 중요무형문화재로 지정·보호되고 있기는 하지만 현대 생활에서는 그 활용도가 높지 않다. 그러나 현재 전통문화산업의 전략적 비중이 높아져가고, 문화적 요소가 산업의 경쟁력을 좌우하는 시대가 도래되었다. 또한 전통공예의 활성화에 대한 관심과 요구가 커지고 있으나, 전통공예는 그 특성상 여전히 여러 가지 문제점들을 안고 있다. 따라서 전통공예의 기술보전과 산업적 활용이라는 두 가지 과제를 효과적으로 실천할 수 있는 방안이 다각도로 모색되어야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 중요무형문화의 종류 중 전통공예기술을 다양한 각도에서 분류하여 그 특징을 분석함으로써 현대의 실생활에 활용도가 높은 공예기술을 찾아 체계적으로 정리하고자 한다. 그리고 이 연구를 통해 전통 공예기술이 전승이나 보존의 한계에서 벗어나 현대적인 기술로서의 발전 가능성과 다양한 산업화 방안을 모색할 수 있는 가이드라인이 되고자한다. Crafts in our country designated as an Important Intangible Cultural Property. Are protected, but not being utilized less than in everyday life. But now that the culture industry has important strategic and cultural factors that influence the competitiveness of the industrial era was. So on the activation of traditional crafts growing interest and demand, but the nature of traditional crafts are still several issues that are faced. Of course, for the protection and industrial policies and institutional mechanisms, but not without a very negative and is weak. Therefore, preservation of traditional crafts and industrial use of the technology to effectively carry out two tasks have the policy should be sought from every angle. In this study, the kind of important intangible cultural heritage of the traditional craft techniques from various angles by category, by systematically analyze the characteristics of modern man with the utilization of real-world craftsmanship with the highest tradition of finding and preserving traditional craft skills in the limit popular and can be out of the technology industry as a potential development is proposed.

        전통 목재짜임 기술의 분류 및 분석에 관한 연구

        A traditional culture industry that commercializes Korea’s native cultural values not only suggests various industrial uses, but also plays an important role in strategic management of national identity in the global market. Among Korea’s traditional cultures, technologies of intangible traditional culture are being variously applied throughout Korea’s industries at large, and they are gradually expanding their influences. Among those, a tradition setting-up technology that could be seen from furniture and traditional Korean-style house structure boast high-level of scientific completion, but no study to apply the technology to the modern industry has yet been made. Therefore, we need to develop a user-customized 3-D model designing program that could be used for a tradition setting-up technology, and a“ tradition setting-up system” that could raise popularization of the setting-up technology by producing and servicing an Internet website. This study is a basic study for developing the“ tradition setting-up system,” and focuses on building classification for the setting-up technology. When looking into the existing prior studies, there are mostly definitions and classifications on the terminologies of the tradition setting-up technology, but there are no practical uses of the technology or concrete classification system clearly stated. Thus, this study has its goal of suggesting a method of modernizing Korea’s traditional technologies and induce their various uses by analyzing and systemizing various tradition setting-up technologies by their names and uses, along with their uses for set-up and position.

      • BcSNPdb: Bovine Coding Region Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms Located Proximal to Quantitative Trait Loci

        Bovine coding region single nucleotide polymorphisms located proximal to quantitative trait loci were identified to facilitate bovine QTL fine mapping research. A total of 692,763 bovine SNPs was extracted from 39,432 UniGene clusters, and 53,446 candidate SNPs were found to be a depth >3. In order to validate the in silico SNPs experimentally, 186 animals representing 14 breeds and 100 mixed breeds were analyzed. Genotyping of 40 randomly selected candidate SNPs revealed that 43% of these SNPs ranged in frequency from 0.009 to 0.498. To identify non-synonymous SNPs and to correct for possible frameshift errors in the ESTs at the predicted SNP positions, we designed a program that determines coding regions by protein-sequence referencing, and identified 17,735 nsSNPs. The SNPs and bovine quantitative traits loci informations were integrated into a bovine SNP data: BcSNPdb (http://snugenome.snu.ac.kr/BtcSNP/). Currently there are 43 different kinds of quantitative traits available. Thus, these SNPs would serve as valuable resources for exploiting genomic variation that influence economically and agriculturally important traits in cows.

      • Improving nanoparticle dispersions of pigment and its application to a color filter: New phthalocyanine derivatives as synergist

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Four synergists were synthesized to enhance pigment nanoparticles dispersion and the contrast ratio. The interaction between the synergist and the dispersant was confirmed by infra-red (IR) spectrometry. We demonstrate that the hydrogen bonds forming between the synergist and the dispersant act as a key factor. To analyze the dispersion properties, dynamic light scattering (DLS), and electron microscopic analysis was examined. The spectral and color characteristics was also measured by UV–vis spectrometry and colorimetry, and the contrast ratio of color filters was evaluated. This study confirms that the prepared synergist can increase the contrast ratio of green color filter.</P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

      • CRISPR/CAS9 System Knock-out Knock-in Efficiency Enhance Using by Chemical Treatment in Porcine Parthenogenesis

        CRISPRs(clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats) / CRISPR - associated(CAS) system has been used genome editing technology. Genome stage modification using CRISPR/CAS9 system can be used to wide research for the gene functional study and therapeutics. However, improving of CRISPR/CAS9 system in efficiency is essential for application in various fields. Here, we treated various chemicals during the procine early embryo development to increase the mutation of target site by NHEJ(non-homologous end joining). Firstly, we confirmed the chemical toxicity after parthenogenetic activation and then check embryo puality using by counting of total cell number and TUNEL Assay in blastocyst satge. To check any improvement on mutation rate by NHEJ pathway. AZT(3′-Azido-3′-deoxythymidine, antiretroviral drug – 0.1 μM) was treated after injection of cas9 and sgRNA target to OCT4 exon 5 during the zygote stage, followed by PCR sequencing. As a result, AZT treated group shows a significantly increased in knock-out efficiency as a consequence of NHEJ. Nocodazole(anti-neoplastic agent – 200ng/ml), RO-3306 (specific inhibitor of CDK1 - 10 μM) and NU-7026(PKC signalling inhibitor - 50 μM) was treated after injection of cas9 and sgRNA with eGFP vector during the zygote stage(hpa8~hpa20) and checked a efficiency of knock-in by PCR sequencing. Interestingly, nocodazole treatment groups increased of insertion of eGFP sequence in blastocyst stage compared with non-treat group(control : 8.33%, nocodazole treatment : 16.67%). However, RO-3306 and NU-7026 made a no impact. In summary, CRISPR/CAS9 system with treatment of chemicals during porcine embryogenesis can be improving of site-specific mutation and enhancement of CRISPR genome editing.

      • (3R,4R)-Epoxyphytosphingosine 유도체의 합성에 관한 연구

        As an key intermediate for the synthesis of (2S,3S)-2-Amino-1,3-octadecanediol (safingol), the derivative of (3R,4R)-epoxyphytosphingosine (6) was prepared from D-phytosphingosine through two step reactions in 46% overall yield. The diol (5) was regioselectively produced by single step protection reaction on both C-l and C-2 amino alcohol functionalities of D-phytosphingosine in 85% yield. A mixture of the desired epoxide (6) and the other diastereomer (7) were initially obtained from the diol (5) in single step epoxidation reaction. Their optimum ratio was 5 : 1, generating the compound (6) as a major product in 54% yield. Its purification was efficiently achieved by column chromatographic separation method (chloroform : ethyl acetate, 10 : 1). Regioselective ring-opening reaction for the epoxide (6) at C-4 position with LiAlH₄ generally gave the inseparable mixture of precursors (8) and (9) with a rado of 1 : 2 in 65% yield. Other most reducing agents were inactive to produce them. The typical deprotection reactions of those precursors with strong acid and base will result in formation of safingol.
