The current study examines the nexus between the capital structure (debt-equity) and firm value (Tobin’s Q) by including profitability (alternatively Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE)) as a moderator in the companies of Saudi Arabia. The study sample consists of 102 companies listed on Tadawul (the Saudi Arabian stock exchange) from different sectors of Saudi Arabia during the period 2013 to 2020. The study estimates pooled regression, panel regression with fixed and random effects, and dynamic panel regression models to report the results. The study results report that there is a negative and significant association between capital structure and firm value in model 1, while in models 2 and 3 there is a more negative and significant impact between the two study variables compared to model 1 after the inclusion of interaction variable, i.e. profitability in terms of ROA and ROE. The comparative result shows that the companies of Saudi Arabia hold more debt in their capital structure mix, hence evidencing a decrease in the firm value. The reported results also show that models 2 and 3 are better in explaining the impact of capital structure on firm value due to the interaction of profitability compared to model 1.

Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) is commonly consumed by humans and widely available around the world. It has impressive nutritional properties, a rich phytochemical profile, and various claimed medicinal and health benefits. The major carotenoids in watermelon include lycopene, β-carotene, phytofluene, phytoene, lutein, and neurosporene. Lycopene (approximately 6,888 μg/152 g) is the major bioactive component in the fruit and it reportedly promotes several therapeutic effects, such as anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory activities etc. in humans and animals. Watermelon is also a good source of the amino acid citrulline, which is involved in production of arginine. Pre- and postharvest factors, including fruit sampling area, application of fertilizer, climatic factors, and genetic variability, are known to affect its bioactive compounds and nutrient concentrations. This review summarizes our current understanding of the watermelon phytochemical profile and the factors affecting its bioactivities and therapeutic effects.
Indigenous Radiosynthesis of [131I]Iodobenzylguanidine ([131I]mIBG) for Neuroblastoma Imaging
Nadeem Ahmed Lodhi,Muhammad Irfan,Muhammad Nasir Saddique,Kahkshan Bashir Mir,Naseer Ahmed,Shazia Fatima,Mumtaz Khan,Muhammad Wasim,Samina Roohi 대한방사성의약품학회 2022 Journal of radiopharmaceuticals and molecular prob Vol.8 No.2
Indigenous diagnostic dose of 131I-labeled meta-iodobenzylguanidine ([131I]mIBG) was prepared via Cu+ catalyzed isotope exchange reaction generated in situ by sodium metabisulfite for imaging of neuroblastoma tumor. [131I]mIBG was produced in overall 85-90% radiochemical yield. The average amount of radioactivity of [131I]mIBG was 2164 MBq (1998-2331MBq) with an average specific activity > 1000 MBq/mg at the end of synthesis. The radiochemical purity was ≥ 99.9% after purification through Dowex-1 × 8 ion exchange resin (100-150 mesh) at the date of preparation. The stability of [131I]mIBG at concentration 480-555 MBq/mL was > 97% at 4 °C after 4 days. The room temperature (25 °C) stability of [131I]mIBG was > 98% after 24 h. Biodistribution of [131I]mIBG in patient showed uptake in salivary glands, liver, spleen and excreted though urinary bladder. Neuroendocrine medicated uptake into tumor lesion and metastatic sites were noted which strongly correlate with the morphological abnormalities of patient.

The movement for a Saraiki province in the South Punjab region of Pakistan has gained momentum in recent years. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government promised during the election campaign to establish a South Punjab province along administrative lines. However, the Saraiki ethno-nationalists have demanded the establishment of the province along ethnic lines. The government fears this would challenge national integration by dividing the nation along ethnic lines. This study seeks to analyze the general sentiments of the people of South Punjab, where Saraikis form a majority, in order to explore whether the public sentiment resonates with the ethno-nationalist parties and factors behind the demand for a separate province. This study is conducted using quantitative methodology. Cross-sectional survey is used as a research tool for data collection, and SPSS is used for data analysis. Results show that mass sentiment does not support ethno-national federalism. Ethnic identity is not a significant factor in the demands for political autonomy.

Owing to its captivating properties, Graphene-based materials (GMBs) have appeared as a broad-spectrumantimicrobial material and attracting scientists and researchers’ attention. By focusing on the recentadvances in the polymeric nanocomposite’sfield, current study is positioned on the graphene-basedpolymeric composites having antibiofilm and antimicrobial activities to confront the current situations ofmicrobial resistance against antibiotics and other drugs. Furthermore, this review summarizesthe influenceof different factors on the antimicrobial activities of graphene-based polymeric composites like size, shape, number of layers, concentration, dispersibility, and functionalization, and also shed the light on the possiblemode of actions of these materials. Graphene-based polymeric composites exert its antimicrobial action byphysical damages (e.g., direct sharp edges’ contact to cell membranes of bacteria, wrapping of the bacterialcell, phospholipid extraction, and photo-thermal ablation) and chemical damages (e.g. oxidative-stress andcharge transfer). Besides, this review article thoroughly describes the antimicrobial applications ofgraphene-based polymeric composites, which are because of their good biocompatibility and superiorantimicrobial properties such as wound bandages and dressings, antimicrobial coatings, drug delivery, foodpackaging, hydrogel formation, and water disinfection. Present review may stimulate major concerns, spurfurther developments, and provide valuable insight into the promisingfields.

Background: The aim of this study was to compare the characterization of prostate cancer using the conventional and 2005 ISUP modified Gleason systems. Materials and Methods: The study employed samples from 40 prostate cancer patients with resection, biopsy and RP materials. The majority of cases (95%) comprised adenocarcinoma of the prostate with a modified combined Gleason score of 7 in 20 of the cases (50%). Results: Upgrading of Gleason scores to a score of 7 occurred in more than 45% of the cases. Conclusion: The study successfully showed that by the use of the 2005 ISUP modified Gleason system, score 6 cancers decreased from 25% to 17.5% of cases, whereas score 7 cancers increased from 45% to 50%.
