The current study examines the nexus between the capital structure (debt-equity) and firm value (Tobin’s Q) by including profitability (alternatively Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE)) as a moderator in the companies of Saudi Arabia. The study sample consists of 102 companies listed on Tadawul (the Saudi Arabian stock exchange) from different sectors of Saudi Arabia during the period 2013 to 2020. The study estimates pooled regression, panel regression with fixed and random effects, and dynamic panel regression models to report the results. The study results report that there is a negative and significant association between capital structure and firm value in model 1, while in models 2 and 3 there is a more negative and significant impact between the two study variables compared to model 1 after the inclusion of interaction variable, i.e. profitability in terms of ROA and ROE. The comparative result shows that the companies of Saudi Arabia hold more debt in their capital structure mix, hence evidencing a decrease in the firm value. The reported results also show that models 2 and 3 are better in explaining the impact of capital structure on firm value due to the interaction of profitability compared to model 1.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between POS, JR, and Innovation, and to explore the role of job psychological empowerment as a mediator in this relationship. A structured questionnaire was distributed to 25 companies in the petrochemical industry. PLS-SEM 4 was used to analyze the data of 100 valid responses. These findings suggest that employee empowerment (EMPOW) fully mediates the relationship between job resourcefulness (JR) and Innovation (INNOV). The total effect of JR on INNOV is also significant, with a beta coefficient of 0.234 and a t-value of 3.375. However, when the mediating influence of EMPOW is taken into account, the effect of JR on INNOV is no longer significant, with a beta coefficient of 0.100 and a t-value of 1.610. This suggests that EMPOW plays a key role in the relationship between JR and INNOV and that JR may not have a direct impact on Innovation. The study informs the development of interventions or strategies for promoting Innovation in organizations by identifying key factors that facilitate or inhibit the innovation process. The study further contributes to the development of new theories or models on the relationship between perceived organizational support, job resourcefulness, psychological empowerment, and Innovation.

Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) is commonly consumed by humans and widely available around the world. It has impressive nutritional properties, a rich phytochemical profile, and various claimed medicinal and health benefits. The major carotenoids in watermelon include lycopene, β-carotene, phytofluene, phytoene, lutein, and neurosporene. Lycopene (approximately 6,888 μg/152 g) is the major bioactive component in the fruit and it reportedly promotes several therapeutic effects, such as anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory activities etc. in humans and animals. Watermelon is also a good source of the amino acid citrulline, which is involved in production of arginine. Pre- and postharvest factors, including fruit sampling area, application of fertilizer, climatic factors, and genetic variability, are known to affect its bioactive compounds and nutrient concentrations. This review summarizes our current understanding of the watermelon phytochemical profile and the factors affecting its bioactivities and therapeutic effects.
A REMARK ON GENERALIZED DERIVATIONS IN RINGS AND ALGEBRAS
Nadeem Ur Rehman 한국수학교육학회 2018 純粹 및 應用數學 Vol.25 No.3
In the present paper, we investigate the action of generalized derivation G associated with a derivation g in a (semi-) prime ring R satisfying (G([x; y]) - [G(x); y])n = 0 for all x, y ∈ I, a nonzero ideal of R, where n is a fixed positive integer. Moreover, we also examine the above identity in Banach algebras.
Swirling flow analysis of Eyring–Powell fluid between coaxial disks with variable property
Nadeem Sohail,Ishtiaq Bushra,Akkurt Nevzat,Eldin Sayed M 한국CDE학회 2023 Journal of computational design and engineering Vol.10 No.2
The main objective of this study is to examine an unsteady swirling flow of a non-Newtonian Eyring–Powell fluid between two coaxial disks. The lower and upper disks are considered to rotate with different angular velocities. The three-dimensional axisymmetric flow phenomenon and heat transfer mechanism are observed with the consequences of the magnetic field and variable thermal conductivity of the fluid. The variable thermal conductivity is taken to be dependent on the fluid temperature. The implementation of the Von Karman similarity transformations on the constituting equations of the flow phenomenon yields the dimensionless system of the non-linear equations. An optimal homotopy analysis technique is adopted to obtain analytical solutions for highly non-linear equations. In view of the same and opposite directions of disks rotation, the various aspects of the flow system corresponding to the pertinent parameters are discussed with physical significance. The obtained results indicate that both radial and axial fields are the escalating functions of the Eyring–Powell fluid parameter. Moreover, the heat transfer rate enhances with the improving variable thermal conductivity parameter.

With ever-advancing computer technology, the Monte Carlo (MC) neutron transport calculation isexpanding its application area to nuclear reactor transient analysis. Dynamic MC (DMC) neutron trackingfor transient analysis requires efficient algorithms for delayed neutron generation, neutron populationcontrol, and initial condition modeling. In this paper, a new MC steady-state simulation method based ontime-dependent MC neutron tracking is proposed for steady-state initial condition modeling; during thisprocess, prompt neutron sources and delayed neutron precursors for the DMC transient simulation caneasily be sampled. The DMC method, including the proposed time-dependent DMC steady-state simulationmethod, has been implemented in McCARD and applied for two-dimensional core kineticsproblems in the time-dependent neutron transport benchmark C5G7-TD. The McCARD DMC calculationresults show good agreement with results of a deterministic transport analysis code, nTRACER.

High performance Molded-in-Color (MIC) Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) for airbag door applications is investigated. Two major objectives in this study are processability and deployment performance at low temperature. Presented is the Taguchi experimental design to evaluate processability of TK-5600K MIC TPE. This method shows injection pressure is the greatest contributor to flow length. The highest flow length obtained is 1174㎜. In addition, the deployment characteristic at extremely low and high temperature -35℃ and 80℃, respectively is exceptional for the MIC TPE presented.

Indoor air pollutants can cause severe health problems, specifically in terms of toxicological impacts on human. Every day, a complex mixture of many air pollutants is emitted from various sources and subject to atmospheric processes that can create varied classes of pollutants such as carboxylic acids, aldehydes, ketones, peroxyacetyl nitrate, and hydrocarbons. To adhere to indoor air quality standards, a number of techniques such as photocatalytic oxidation of various volatile organic compounds (VOCs) have been employed. Among these techniques, titania (TiO2) based photocatalytic reactions have proven to be the best benchmark standard approach in the field of environmental applications. Over the last 45 years, TiO2-based photocatalytic reactions have been explored for the degradation of various pollutants. This review discusses the indoor air quality profile, types of indoor pollutants, available indoor air cleaning approaches, and performance of TiO2- based catalysts. Finally, we have presented the perspectives on the progress of TiO2 induced photocatalysis for the purification of indoor air.
