        Sliding Mode Control for Fuzzy Markovian Jump Singular System with Time-varying Delay

        This study addresses the sliding mode control (SMC) issue for time-delay Markovian jump singularsystems. Firstly, the T-S fuzzy mode is established for the system. Secondly, novel integral-type fuzzy slidingsurfaces are constructed for accommodating the system’s model characteristics. Thirdly, free-weighting matrixtechnique combined with Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional are used for guaranteeing the admissibility and passivityof the system. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed approach is verified by simulation result.

        Improvement of ATP regeneration efficiency and operation stability in porcine interferon-α production by Pichia pastoris under lower induction temperature

        The performance of traditional heterologous protein production by Pichia pastoris with methanol induction at 30 ℃ is poor, characterized by low ATP regeneration rate and weak operation stability. A low temperature induction strategy at 20 ℃ was thus adopted for efficient porcine interferon-α production in a 10 L fermentor. With the strategy,maximal methanol tolerance level could reach about 40 g/L to effectively deal with methanol concentration variations,so that the complicated on-line methanol measurement system could be eliminated. Moreover, metabolic analysis based on multiple state-variables measurements indicated that pIFN-α antiviral activity enhancement profited from the formation of an efficient ATP regeneration system at 20℃ induction. Compared to the induction strategy at 30 ℃, the proposed strategy increased the ATP regeneration rate by 49-66%, the maximal p_IFN-α antiviral activity was enhanced about 20-fold and reached a higher level of 1.5×10^6 IU/mL.

      • The Research of Data Mining Based on Application Data Pool

        Today, people use various kinds of information technology applications to deal with applications in our daily life, which generates lots of information. However,most of the informationis just stored in many Distributed Heterogeneous Databases (DHDs) as log records, instead of being used abundantly and effectively. In this paper, we mainly discusses about how to use these data in useful ways by Data Mining (DM). Relative to thetraditional Data Mining based on Data Warehouse (WD),we propose a definition named Application Data Pool (ADP)replacing WD in this paper. And we design a KnowledgeDiscovery in Databases (KDD) model with ADP to use these data more efficiently. At last we use an application in Shanghai University ID Card designed with the ADP to prove the effectiveness and feasibility in KDD.

        Integrated mRNA and miRNA profile expression in livers of Jinhua and Landrace pigs

        Objective: To explore the molecular mechanisms of fat metabolism and deposition in pigs, an experiment was conducted to identify hepatic mRNAs and miRNAs expression and determine the potential interaction of them in two phenotypically extreme pig breeds. Methods: mRNA and miRNA profiling of liver from 70-day Jinhua (JH) and Landrace (LD) pigs were performed using RNA sequencing. Blood samples were taken to detect results of serum biochemistry. Bioinformatics analysis were applied to construct differentially expressed miRNA-mRNA network. Results: Serum total triiodothyronine and total thyroxine were significantly lower in Jinhua pigs, but the content of serum total cholesterol (TCH) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol were strikingly higher. A total of 467 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and 35 differentially expressed miRNAs (DE miRNAs) were identified between JH and LD groups. Gene ontology analysis suggested that DEGs were involved in oxidation-reduction, lipid biosynthetic and lipid metabolism process. Interaction network of DEGs and DE miRNAs were constructed, according to target prediction results. Conclusion: We generated transcriptome and miRNAome profiles of liver from JH and LD pig breeds which represent distinguishing phenotypes of growth and metabolism. The potential miRNA-mRNA interaction networks may provide a comprehensive understanding in the mechanism of lipid metabolism. These results serve as a basis for further investigation on biological functions of miRNAs in the porcine liver.

        Circular RNA expression profiles in the porcine liver of two distinct phenotype pig breeds

        Objective: An experiment was conducted to identify and characterize the circular RNA expression and metabolic characteristics in the liver of Jinhua pigs and Landrace pigs. Methods: Three Jinhua pigs and three Landrace pigs respectively at 70-day were slaughtered to collect the liver tissue samples. Immediately after slaughter, blood samples were taken to detect serum biochemical indicators. Total RNA extracted from liver tissue samples were used to prepare the library and then sequence on HiSeq 2500. Bioinformatic methods were employed to analyze sequence data to identify the circRNAs and predict the potential roles of differentially expressed circRNAs between the two breeds. Results: Significant differences in physiological and biochemical traits were observed between growing Jinhua and Landrace pigs. We identified 84,864 circRNA candidates in two breeds and 366 circRNAs were detected as significantly differentially expressed. Their host genes are involved in lipid biosynthetic and metabolic processes according to the gene ontology analysis and associated with metabolic pathways. Conclusion: Our research represents the first description of circRNA profiles in the porcine liver from two divergent phenotype pigs. The predicted miRNA-circRNA interaction provides important basis for miRNA-circRNA relationships in the porcine liver. These data expand the repertories of porcine circRNA and are conducive to understanding the possible molecular mechanisms involved in miRNA and circRNA. Our study provides basic data for further research of the biological functions of circRNAs in the porcine liver.

        코로나19 팬데믹 상황에서 한국과 스웨덴 대학생의 온라인 교육 경험에 대한 내러티브 연구

        코로나바이러스감염증(COVID-19)으로 비대면 문화가 확산됨에 따라 전 세계적으로 온라인 교육 방법이 채택되었음에도 국가마다 구체적인 학습 맥락이 다르게 나타났다. 본 연구는 온라인 학습에서 나타나는 사회문화적 요인을 확인하고자 내러티브 탐구를 통해 한국과 스웨덴의 대학생이 체험한 온라인 교육의 경험을 살펴보았다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 비대면 온라인 교육에서 교수자와 동료 학습자와의 활발한 상호작용은 학습 동기와 참여수준, 학습 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 교수자와의 일대일 관계를 조성하는 온라인 학습 환경은 평등한 학습 환경을 조성하여 소극적인 학습자의 참여를 유도하였다. 둘째, 문화에 따라 추구하는 의사소통 전개 방식, 학습 방법이 다르게 나타났다. 사회문화적 특성에 따라 차별화된 온라인 학습 지원 전략을 구축하여 교육의 효용성을 높여야 할 것이다. 셋째, 협력적 학습 공동체를 바탕으로 하는 온라인 학습 환경은 학습자 중심의 학습 환경을 구축하며, 미래 핵심역량 개발의 가능성을 높인다. 국내 대학에서 협력적 온라인 학습 환경의 조성을 위한 방안이 적극적으로 모색되어야 함을 시사한다. With the spread of ‘untact’ culture due to the coronavirus pandemic, online education is being conducted worldwide. Although the same educational method was carried out, the specific context of learning varied from country to country. The purpose of this study was to compare the Korean and Swedish university students’experiences of online education through narrative inquiry to confirm the socio-cultural differences of learning. It was found that active interaction between instructors and other learners had a positive effect on learning motivation, participation level, and satisfaction in non-face-to-face online classes. The online learning environment that fosters a one-to-one relationship with the instructor creates an equal learning environment, which induces passive learners participation. Furthermore, the methods of communication and the learning skills that students prefer are different depending on the culture. The effectiveness of education should be enhanced by establishing differentiated online learning support strategies according to socio-cultural characteristics. Lastly, an online learning environment based on a collaborative learning community builds a learner-centered learning environment and increases the possibility of developing future core competencies. This suggests that domestic universities should actively seek out ways to create a cooperative online learning environment.

        Design of a Luenberger Observer–based Current Sensorless Multi-loop Control for Boost Converters

        Multi-loop control of a boost converter needs a current-sensing circuit to detect the inductor current. Current sensorless multi-loop control reduces the cost, size and weight of the converter. The Luenberger observer (LO) is widely used to estimate the inductor current for current sensorless control of a switching converter. However, the design of the LO-based sensorless multiloop control has not been well presented, so far. In this paper, a closed-loop characteristics evaluation method is proposed to design an LO-based current sensorless multi-loop control for boost converters. Simulations show evaluations of the closed-loop characteristics. Practical experiments on a digital processor confirm the simulations.
