        Bojan Milosevic(보얀 밀로세비치),Jan Schacher(얀 샤체르) 한국전자음악협회 2015 에밀레 Vol.13 No.-

몰입형 랩은 취리히 예술대학Zurich University of the Arts 컴퓨터 음악 음향 기술 연구소Institute of Computer Music and Sound Technology의 예술 공학 연구 프로젝트이다. The Immersive Lab is an artistic and technological research project of the Institute of Computer Music and Sound Technology at the Zurich University of the Arts. Participating artists create works for a media space, which integrates panoramic video, surround audio with full touch interaction. The main challenge for the artists is to find ways of translating touch into interaction models for their audio visual ideas. At the end of the process, works are presented to the public in the form of interactive audio visual compositions. This article exposes the technical structure of the installation, describes the underlying concepts of the project, and addresses the diversity of artistic ideas in the thematic, conceptual as well technical domains. Example works by participating artists are discussed and show in what way the central topics of the Immersive Lab installation revolve around observation, physical reaction, individual and group interaction. The diversity of ideas and the considerable number of completed artistic works confirm that the advantages of this project, i.e., the integration of interactive audio visual modes in one media environment, indeed inspire practical, spontaneous, and collaborative learning and experience.

Artificial neural network model for predicting sex using dental and orthodontic measurements

        Sandra Anic-Milosevic,Natasa Medancic,Martina Calusic-Sarac,Jelena Dumancic,Hrvoje Brkic 대한치과교정학회 2023 대한치과교정학회지 Vol.53 No.3

Objective: To investigate sex-specific correlations between the dimensions of permanent canines and the anterior Bolton ratio and to construct a statistical model capable of identifying the sex of an unknown subject. Methods: Odontometric data were collected from 121 plaster study models derived from Caucasian orthodontic patients aged 12–17 years at the pretreatment stage by measuring the dimensions of the permanent canines and Bolton's anterior ratio. Sixteen variables were collected for each subject: 12 dimensions of the permanent canines, sex, age, anterior Bolton ratio, and Angle’s classification. Data were analyzed using inferential statistics, principal component analysis, and artificial neural network modeling. Results: Sex-specific differences were identified in all odontometric variables, and an artificial neural network model was prepared that used odontometric variables for predicting the sex of the participants with an accuracy of > 80%. This model can be applied for forensic purposes, and its accuracy can be further improved by adding data collected from new subjects or adding new variables for existing subjects. The improvement in the accuracy of the model was demonstrated by an increase in the percentage of accurate predictions from 72.0–78.1% to 77.8–85.7% after the anterior Bolton ratio and age were added. Conclusions: The described artificial neural network model combines forensic dentistry and orthodontics to improve subject recognition by expanding the initial space of odontometric variables and adding orthodontic parameters.

The possibilities for application of STEP-NC in actual production conditions

        Dejan Lukic,Sasa Zivanovic,Jovan Vukman,Mijodrag Milosevic,Stevo Borojevic,Aco Antic 대한기계학회 2018 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.32 No.7

With the rapid advancement of internet technologies (IT) and computer numerical control (CNC) technologies, the production environment has significantly changed in the last two decades. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 6983 (Gcode), which is still being used as a link between computer aided design/computer aided process planning/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAPP/CAM) and CNC system, represents an obstacle for the full integration of design and manufacturing. The result of efforts to eliminate these obstacles and shortcomings of developed standards for data exchange and sharing is the development of (STEP-ISO 10303) standard, as well as its extension to numerical control STEP-NC. This paper shows the current possibility of implementing STEPNC in integration of computer aided technologies CAx and CNC systems in actual production conditions. Two scenarios represent a new approach to programming CNC machine tools using the STEP-NC protocol, which is explained in detail with IDEF0 diagrams, with defining necessary equipment and software. Implementation of the STEP-NC protocol described by the integration definition for function modeling (IDEF0) methodology was experimentally verified on specific examples for both scenarios, with the application of available CAD/CAM systems and the STEP-NC machine software, as well as appropriate virtual and physical CNC machine tools.

Antimicrobial effect of different brushing frequencies with fluoride toothpaste on Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus species in children with fixed orthodontic appliances

        Peros, Kristina,Mestrovic, Senka,Anic-Milosevic, Sandra,Rosin-Grget, Kata,Slaj, Mladen The Korean Association Of Orthodontists 2012 대한치과교정학회지 Vol.42 No.5

Objective: To evaluate the antimicrobial effect of different frequencies of brushing with fluoride toothpaste on the levels of salivary mutans streptococci and lactobacilli in children undergoing fixed orthodontic treatment. Methods: The study included 22 patients scheduled for fixed orthodontic therapy distributed between 2 groups with different hygiene regimes. All the subjects received identical braces, bands, and brackets bonded with the same material. Stimulated saliva samples were obtained before placement of the appliance and at 6, 12, and 18 weeks during the therapy. Saliva samples were cultured on selective microbial agar for the detection of microorganisms. Results: Salivary mutans streptococci were significantly suppressed throughout the experimental period in the group that brushed 4 times a day as compared to the group that brushed twice a day. Salivary lactobacilli were not significantly affected by the frequency of brushing with 0.32% sodium fluoride (NaF) toothpaste. Conclusions: The use of 0.32% NaF-containing toothpaste more than 3 times a day has effective antimicrobial activity on mutans streptococci but not lactobacilli in the saliva of children with fixed orthodontic appliances.

      • [ ] System: Structural Study of the Influence of Luminescence Center Concentration

        Rabanal M.E.,Gomez L.,Khalifa A.,Mancic L.,Milosevic O.,Torralba J.M. 한국분말야금학회 2006 한국분말야금학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2006 No.1

The influence of doping on the structural and morphological properties of the phosphor system, obtained ultrasonically via Spray Pyrolysis from common gadolinium and europium nitrate solutions, was studied. The particle morphology, crystalline and chemical structure were studied by XRD, SEM and EDS. TEM was applied in order to identify the structure and growth of "primary nanoparticles" and determine the presence of domains locally affected by "Moires Frames" and "Crystallite Size". The SADP allows determining the presence of a polycrystalline material with two phases in the "as-prepared" samples, and only an Ia3 phase along the thermal treatment.

Application of Fuzzy Logic in the Analysis of Surface Roughness of Thin-Walled Aluminum Parts

        Jovan Vukman,Dejan Lukic,Stevo Borojevic,Dragan Rodic,Mijodrag Milosevic 한국정밀공학회 2020 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.21 No.1

This paper presents the development and application of fuzzy logic in the milling of thin-walled parts for the purpose of analyzing surface roughness. Surface roughness is an important performance indicator of finished components. Depending on conditions such as feed ratio and wall thickness, different machining strategies can be applied. The objective was to analyze and determine the influence of the machining conditions on surface roughness. The model for analyzing and determining surface roughness of the aluminum alloy AL 7075 was trained (design rules) and compared by using the experimental data. The average deviation of the compared data for surface roughness was 12.3%. The effect of the feed ratio, wall thickness and machining strategy as well as their interactions in machining are thoroughly analyzed and presented in this study.

      • Glutathione S-Transferase T1 and M1 Polymorphisms and Risk of Uterine Cervical Lesions in Women from Central Serbia

Stosic, Ivana,Grujicic, Darko,Arsenijevic, Slobodan,Brkic, Marija,Milosevic-Djordjevic, Olivera Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2014 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.15 No.7

The aim of this study was to investigate the frequencies of GSTT1 and GSTM1 deletion polymorphisms in newly-diagnosed patients with uterine cervical lesions from central Serbia. Polymorphisms of GST genes were genotyped in 97 patients with cervical lesions and 50 healthy women using a multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The GSTM1 null genotype was significantly more prominent among the patients than in controls (74.2% vs 56.0%), the risk associated with lesions being almost 2.3-fold increased (OR=2.26, 95%CI=1.10-4.65, p=0.03) and 3.17-fold higher in patients above >45 years old (95%CI=1.02-9.79, p=0.04). The analysis of the two genotypes demonstrated that GSTM1 null genotype significantly increased risk only for low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion-LSIL (OR=2.81, 95%CI=1.03-7.68, p=0.04). GSTT1 null genotype or different genotype combinations were not found to be risk factors, irrespective to lesion stages, age or smoking. We found that the risk of cervical lesions might be significantly related to the GSTM1 null genotype, especially in women aged above 45 years. Furthermore, the GSTM1 polymorphism might have greater role in development of early stage lesions.
