      • 회천의 저서성 대형무척추동물에 의한 생물학적 수질 평가에 관한 연구

        The present study was carried out to determine the water quality based on the biological evaluation of water pollution in Hoe Stream. The survey was carried out through the whole Hoe stream(sites 1-9), and two sites in Nakdong River(site 10,11), meeting before and after Hoe Stream from March, 1995 to February, 1996. The results are as follow; (1) Benthic macroinvertebrates in present study are composed of total 200 species, 115 genrea, 68 families, 21 orders, 7 classes in 5 phyla and among them, Aquatic insects are composed of 171 species, 91 genera, 52 families in 9 orders. According to comparison of Hoe Stream and Nakdong River, benthic macroinvertebrates in Hoe Stream are composed of total 199 species, 114 genera, 67 families, 20 orders, 7 classes in 5 phyla, and in Nakdong River are composed of total 44 species, 28 genera, 25 families, 13 orders, 6 classes in 3 phyla. (2) The dominant species were investigated as Trichoptera and Ephemeroptera in upper reaches, and Chironomidae in lower reaches. (3) The diversity indices are 2.154∼3.619, and it means, that in Hoe Stream appeared higher value than in Nakdong River. (4) Conclusively, almost all factors of water quality in present study was one to four levels. Hoe Stream showed one to three levels and appeared four level in Nakdong River.

      • 화천의 저서성 대형무척추동물의 군집구조에 관한 연구

        The present study was conducted to determine the community structure in Hoe Stream based on the benthic macroinvertebrates. The survey area included nine sites in Hoe stream and two sites in Nakdong river. The study was carried out from March of 1995 to February of 1996. The result are as follows; (1) Benthic macroinvertebrates are composed of a total 200 species including 115 genera, 68 families, 21 orders, 7 classes in five phyla. 2) Average number of individuals was 1353.9/0.5㎡ in the whole study area. Individual number was variable from 10.2/0.5㎡ at the site 10 to 186.3/0.5㎡ at the site 4. Taxa with highest individual species frequency were aquatic insects. 3) Average dominance(DI), species richness(RI), species diversity(H'), and evenness(EI) were 0.62, 1.70, 3.12 and 0.048, respectively, in the whole study area. The biotic indices in Hoe river were relative higher than that of Nakdong river. 4) Functional feeding groups were collector at site 1 to 6, collector and predator at site 7 to 9, filterer and predator at site 10 and 11.

      • 황강의 저서성 대형무척추동물의 군집구조에 관한 연구

        The present study was conducted to determine the community structure in Whang river based on the benthic macroinvertebrates. The survey area included eight sites in Whang river and two sites in Nakdong river and the study was carried out from March of 1995 to February of 1996. The result are as follows; (1) Benthic mactoinvertebrates are composed of a total of 200 species including 114 genera, 71 families, 21 orders, 7 classes in five phyla. A total of 200 species was found in Whang river, however only 66 species were recorded in Nakdong river. 2) Species frequency was different depending on the study area. It ranged from 84-112 species in the upper stream(site 1 to 6) to 71-75 species in the lower stream(site 7 to 8) and 41-58 species in the Nakdong river(site 9 to 10). Taxa with highest species frequency were aquatic insecta. 3) Average number of individuals was 1656.5/0.5㎡ in the whole study aera. Inividual number was variable from 53/0.5㎡ at the site 8 to 296.8/0.5㎡ at the site 4. Taxa with highest individual species frequency were aquatic insecta. 4) Trichoptera and Ephemeroptera were dominant in upper stream, while Chironomidae was the most aboundant group in the lower stream. 5) Average dominance(DI), species richness(RI), species diversity(H'), and evenness(J') were 0.68, 2.71, 3.10 and 0.71, respectively, in the whole study area. The biotic indices in Whang river were relative higher than that of Nakdong river. 6) Functional feeding groups were collectors and shredder at site 1 to 6, filterer at site 7 to 10.

      • STD 61종 금형강의 이온질화처리에 관한 연구(Ⅰ)

        STD61종 열간금형강의 수명향상을 위하여 ion nitriding처리를 실시하였다. 이온질화전의 모재의 열처리시에는 1030˚C에서 quenching한 후 530˚C에서 2시간 tempering했을 때 Hv=600의 높은 경도값을 나타내었다. 580˚C, 600˚C에서 2시간 tempering했을 때는 각각 Hv=500, Hv=400으로 경도값이 오히려 감소했다. 이온질화 처리시에는 처리시간이 길고 N₂와 Ar첨가유량이 많을 수록 깊은 화합물층과 확산층을 얻었다. 그리고 각 처리조건에서 안정된 Hv=1150의 질화물층을 얻을 수 있다. Ion nitriding treatment has been practiced to improve the life of hot die steel of STD61. Before nitriding the parent STD61 tempered at 530˚C, 2hrs after quenching at 1030˚C, It showed the high hardness distribution of Hv=600. The hardness distribution has decreased by Hv=400, Hv=500 when tempered for 2hrs at 580˚C, 600˚C. In the ion nitriding, the more treat-time and the more N₂and Ar flux, the deeper the compounded layer and the diffused layer. The stable hardness, Hv=1150, of nitride layer was obtained at various treatment condition.

      • 한국산 나비목(Lepidoptera)의 발향린(Androconia)에 관한 주사 전자현미경적 연구 Ⅰ. 뱀눈나비과

        한국산 Satyridae 에서 보고된 35종 중 북한산 11종과 채집하지 못한 3종을 제외한 21종을 재료로 광학현미경으로 발향린의 유무 및 분포를 확인하였다. 이중 발향린이 관찰된 9종을 대상으로 주사전자현미경으로 그 형태를 비교 연구하였다. 1. 발향린이 관찰된 종은 Coenonympha ammaryllis Cramer, Erebia wanga Bremer, Eumenis antonoe Esper, Lopinga achine Scopoli, Minois dryas Scopoli, Pararge deidamia Eversmann, Ypthima argus Buttler, Ypthima amphithea Menetries, Ypthima mojschulsk Bremer et Grey 9종 이었다. 2. 발향린은 암컷에서는 발견되지 않았고 수컷의 앞·뒷날개 표면(dorsal surface)에서 관찰되었다. 3. 발향린의 분포는 주로 앞날개의 둔맥과 경맥사이, 뒷날개는 주맥을 중심으로 분포하였으며, 종에 따라서 상당한 차이를 보였다. 4. Satyridae 9종의 발향린은 나발막(fimbriae), neck, 잎새(laminar), 자루병반(foot stalk)등을 갖추었으나, 부속반(accessory disk)은 가지지 않았다. 5. Satyridae 9종의 발향린은 같은 종 내의 다른 개체간, 부위에 따른 변이는 관찰되지 않았다. 6. 발향린의 성유인 물질의 분비는 샘(gland)의 생성물이 자루병반의 강(cavity)내로 들어가서 잎새(laminar), neck, 나발막(fimbrae)의 말단개구부등 발향린 전면에 걸쳐있는 구멍(pore)을 통해 분산되는 것으로 여겨진다. This paper observed through microscope the existance and the distribution of the androconia of the 21 species of Satyride among 35 ones which have been reported in Korea, excluding 11 species in north Korea and 3 one's not in collection. 9 species which were observed the androconia among these were chifely compared and studied through Scanning Electron Microscope. 1. The species observing androconia are ? Coenonympha ammaryllis Cramer, Erebia wanga Bremer, Eumenis antonoe Esper, Lopinga achine Scopoli, Minois dryas Scopoli, Pararge deidamia Eversmann, Ypthima argus Buttler, Ypthima amphithea ? Menetries, Ypthima mojschulsk Bremer et Grey. 2. The androconia was not found at the females, but only at the dorsal surface of the fore and hind wings of males. 3. The androconia was mainly distributed between the anal vein and the radius of the fore wings and at the cubitus of the hind wings, and made differences among the species. 4. The androconia of 9 species Satyridae fimbriae, nack, laminar,foot stalk, but no accessory disk. 5. The androconia of 9 species Satyridae was observed no variation at the sections and among the inviduals of the same species. 6. The secretion of the sexual attractant at the androcnia was through to be diffused into the pores at the surface of the androconia of laminar, neck, and fimbriae through the cavirty of the foot stalk of the gland.

        A Study on Application Boundary of Wireless LAN's Communication for Space Variation

        The objective of this thesis is to measure the limit of the real space where wireless Local Area Network (LAN) is used, and to apply this result as reference to set up a real Wireless LAN environment. The organized circumference was composed of Wireless LAN based on IEEE 802.11b of the American standard, and the examination is carried out on the campus. On the real condition of office environment and open space, the ratio of available distance to a signal at each distance was measured and this result was studied as data to embody wireless LAN on the campus. The measurement under an indoor environment was executed under circumstance having two walls and open space, however, was executed respectively under three circumstances: Where no obstacle, where one wall exists, and where two or more walls exist.

      • A Design of the Personnel Control and Safety Management System in a Ship-building Yard

        On the market, there are many automatic sensor models embodied in various professional fields. There are some problems for these sensor models to be improved under a real operating system in the range of the coastal sea, and it is a key point of operating these systems to select and set up the best devices for each coastal condition. When these devices are definitely embodied in various automatic wireless sensor models, both data transmission condition and security previously have to be considered, and power supply and maintenance also have to be done. The management system of port facilities using the current RFID technology has the effects of reducing working hours and improvement in data processing, but it is not proper for human resource allocation since it is dominantly worked for physical resources. In the design of personnel and safety management system under a special condition, such as ship-building yard, more efficient system should be embodied in the personnel management and more suitable system to RTLS-used safety management should be set up. For this purpose, more developed system in efficiency should be set up gathering the data under various environments. In this paper, the purpose is to design a new system both integrating and efficiently managing the personnel resource and safety management system in the special condition, such as ship-building yard.

        Silibinin Inhibits LPS-Induced Macrophage Activation by Blocking p38 MAPK in RAW 264.7 Cells

        We demonstrate herein that silibinin, a polyphenolic fl avonoid compound isolated from milk thistle (Silybum marianum), inhibits LPS-induced activation of macrophages and production of nitric oxide (NO) in RAW 264.7 cells. Western blot analysis showed silibinin inhibits iNOS gene expression. RT-PCR showed that silibinin inhibits iNOS, TNF-α, and IL1β. We also showed that silibinin strongly inhibits p38 MAPK phosphorylation, whereas the ERK1/2 and JNK pathways are not inhibited. The p38 MAPK inhibitor abrogated the LPS-induced nitrite production, whereas the MEK-1 inhibitor did not affect the nitrite production. A molecular modeling study proposed a binding pose for silibinin targeting the ATP binding site of p38 MAPK (1OUK). Collectively, this series of experiments indicates that silibinin inhibits macrophage activation by blocking p38 MAPK signaling.
