Madhvi Chulet,Chirag Kumar ASCONS 2018 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF EMERGING MULTIDISCIPLINAR Vol.2 No.2

The havelis of Shekhawati region, Rajasthan stand evidence of the glorious history of the land and rich cultural heritage of the state. These havelis are majorly known for their fresco paintings and building envelope in a semi-arid region. However, the havelis of Fatehpur town in Shekhawati region are threatened. They are either demolished or handed over to the ignorant new owners or they are abandoned or left at the mercy of poor care take cares. The negligence of these will lead to the extinction of this rich cultural heritage of Shekhawati region, Rajasthan. This paper will be primarily focusing upon a climatic analysis of a haveli of Shekhawati region. This shall also analyse proportion of spaces and the spatial organization with respect to controlled light, heat ad dust, exterior walls, small openings, courtyards, materials and construction techniques catering to a typical desert climate.

Monetary Policy Transmission during Multiple Indicator Regime: A Case of India

Madhvi SETHI,Saina BABY,Vandita DAR 한국유통과학회 2019 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.6 No.3

The effectiveness of monetary policy critically depends upon how well the transmission mechanism functions, so that the desired impact on output and inflation is achieved. The purpose of this paper is to study the transmission mechanism of monetary policy by analyzing the impact on inflation and output during multiple indicator regime (1998-99 to 2014) in an emerging economy-India. The Inflation Targeting Regime is also briefly outlined alongwith the impact on output and inflation. Using quarterly data for the period 1997 to 2017, the paper uses weighted average call money market rate as a proxy for the policy rate and evaluates the strength of the interest rate channel. We use a conventional Structural vector auto regression (SVAR) methodology to evaluate the efficacy and show the impluse response functions. Our results find that changes in the policy rate impact output growth steeply with a lag of about two quarters and the impact on inflation is maximized after three quarters. The study concludes that the monetary policy in India has a significant impact on output and inflation in the short-to-medium-run. After the policy shock, the fall in the output growth rate is of greater magnitude than the fall in inflation.

Design and development of co-processed excipients for fast dissolving tablets of Irbesartan by melt agglomeration technique

        Kothiya Madhvi,Kuldeep Mehta,K. R. Vadalia,Chavda Jay,Kapadiya Sandip 한국약제학회 2015 Journal of Pharmaceutical Investigation Vol.45 No.2

The co-processing is most widely exploredmethod for development of directly compressible excipients. The present research was focused on development ofco-processed excipients for fast dissolving tablets of Irbesartanby melt agglomeration technique. From the preliminarytrials Lactose monohydrate and mannitol wasselected as a diluent and Poly ethylene glycol 4000 asbinder. To improve functionality of co-processed excipients8 % crospovidone was incorporated. Diluent blendratio and concentration of binder (%) were selected asindependent variables in central composite design. Theagglomerates were evaluated in terms of % fines, angle ofrepose, Carr’s index, Hausner ratio. The tablets weremanufactured on a rotary press and their friability, tensilestrength and disintegration time were evaluated. Thisoptimized batch was characterized by means of the granularfriability index, Heckel analysis, Kawakita, Kuno’sanalysis, lubricant sensitivity ratio and a dilution potentialstudy. Result of dilution potential showed that up to 40 %drug can be incorporated. In addition to these, bitter taste ofdrug was masked by forming drug—β-cyclodextrin inclusioncomplex and by adding aspartame as a Sweetener. Compared to conventional tablet it showed faster dissolution. Instrumental studies like Fourier transform-infraredspectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, X-raydiffraction showed that the compatibility of various excipientswith drug. The present study underlines the factthat melt granulation technique may be adopted for thedevelopment of directly compressible adjuvant for use inpharmaceuticals.

Dhamania Madhvi,Gaur Kusum 대한백신학회 2023 Clinical and Experimental Vaccine Research Vol.12 No.4

Purpose: Globally, 25 million children were either unvaccinated or under-vaccinated in year 2021. Among them, India had the highest number of children unvaccinated. Studies have shown impact of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic on routine health-care services. Present study aimed to estimate the impact of COVID-19 on utilization of routine immunization services during years 2020 and 2021 in tertiary-care facility. Materials and Methods: Record based descriptive analytic study was conducted at pediatric tertiary-care hospital, Jaipur. Data of children vaccinated as per the National Immunization Schedule for the period January 2019 to December 2021 were retrieved from the immunization records. Doses administered were assessed as a proxy measure of vaccine coverage. The vaccination trends of 2020 and 2021 were compared assuming base year 2019. Unpaired t-test of significance and Pearson correlation was used for correlation analysis. Results: There was significant drop in the vaccine counts after emergence of COVID-19 pandemic. In year 2020 and 2021, mean monthly vaccine count was 2,190±715.1 and 2,305±393.2, respectively, in which maximum drop was in April 2020 (-79.12%) and May 2021 (-57.16%) when it was compared with matched month of base year. There was negative correlation between percent change in vaccine count and COVID-19 cases in 2020 (r=-0.057, p=0.861) and 2021 (r=-0.827, p=0.001) as compared to year 2019. Conclusion: Study concludes that there was a significant gap in utilization of routine immunization services during the COVID-19 pandemic. This necessitates planning and management of routine immunization services in-case of future pandemics to avoid resurgence of vaccinepreventable diseases in the Rajasthan.

A Novel Approach Using TCSR FACTS Controller for Mitigation of Congestion in a Multi-machine Power System

Gupta Madhvi,Gupta Ashvini Kumar,Sharma Nikhlesh Kumar 대한전기학회 2022 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.17 No.2

This paper deals with the application of Thyristor Controlled Series Reactor (TCSR) FACTS controller for mitigation of congestion in one or more lines of a power system. When generation is close to thermal limit then one or more healthy lines may face congestion, if some line is out of operation due to fault or maintenance. For a given voltage diff erence between two end buses of a congested line, the line current can be reduced to normal value or congestion can be mitigated by increasing the reactance of that line. The reactance of the line can be suitably increased with the help of series TCSR FACTS Controller. The reactance of the Controller can be suitably increased by fi ring the SCRs at the appropriate fi ring angles. TCSR FACTS Controller has been implemented to mitigate the congestion in IEEE 5-Bus and Modifi ed IEEE 14-Bus Test systems. The TCSR FACTS Controller is successful in mitigation of congestion of any level.

Green Bonds Driving Sustainable Transition in Asian Economies: The Case of India

Nisha PRAKASH,Madhvi SETHI 한국유통과학회 2021 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.8 No.1

On September 25, 2015, 193 countries of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly, signed the 2030 Agenda to work towards attaining 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its associated 169 targets and 232 indicators. With one of the largest renewable energy programs, India is well-poised to be a role model for low-carbon transformation to other Asian countries. However, bridging the financing gap is critical to ensure that the country meets its SDG targets. Though the SDGs identified by the UN are broad-based and interdependent, for ease of analysis we have grouped them into five themes – people, planet, prosperity, peace, and partnership – based on existing UN models. This paper investigates the financing gap for ‘green’ projects linked to planet-related SDG targets in India. It builds an argument for utilizing green bonds as an instrument to bridge the gap. After establishing the potential of green bonds in raising the finance to meet India’s planet-related SDG targets, we look at the current policy landscape and suggest recommendations for successful execution. The paper concludes that deepening of the corporate fixed income securities market and firming up guidelines in line with India’s climate action plans are inevitable before green bonds can be considered a viable financing option.

Characterization of Heterogeneous Interaction Behaviour in Ternary Mixtures by Dielectric Analysis: The H-Bonded Binary Polar Mixture in Non-Polar Solvent

Sengwa, R.J.,Madhvi,Sankhla, Sonu,Sharma, Shobha Korean Chemical Society 2006 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.27 No.5

The heterogeneous association behaviour of various concentration binary mixtures of mono alkyl ethers of ethylene glycol with ethyl alcohol were investigated by dielectric measurement in benzene solutions over the entire concentration range at 25 ${^{\circ}C}$. The values of static dielectric constant $\epsilon_0$ of the mixtures were measured at 1 MHz using a four terminal dielectric liquid test fixture and precision LCR meter. The high frequency limiting dielectric constant $\epsilon_\infty$ values were determined by measurement of refractive index $n_D$ ($\epsilon_\infty\;=\;n_D\;^2$). The measured values of $\epsilon_0$ and $\epsilon_\infty$ were used to evaluate the values of excess dielectric constant $\epsilon^E$, effective Kirkwood correlation factor $g^{eff}$ and corrective correlation factor $g_f$ of the binary polar mixtures to obtain qualitative and quantitative information about the H-bond complex formation. The non-linear behaviour of the observed $\epsilon_0$ values of the polar molecules and their mixtures in benzene solvent confirms the variation in the associated structures with change in polar mixture constituents concentration and also by dilution in non-polar solvents. Appearance of the maximum in $\epsilon^E$ values at different concentration of the polar mixtures suggest the formation of stable adduct complex, which depends on the molecular size of the mono alkyl ethers of ethylene glycol. Further, the observed $\epsilon^E$ < 0 also confirms the heterogeneous H-bond complex formation reduces the effective number of dipoles in these polar binary mixtures. In benzene solutions these polar molecules shows the maximum reduce in effective number of dipoles at 50 percent dilutions. But ethyl alcohol rich binary polar mixtures in benzene solvent show the maximum reduce in effective number of dipoles in benzene rich solutions.

Global Awareness of Myocardial Infarction Symptoms in General Population: a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

        Akash Sharma,Karavadi Vidusha,Harshini Suresh,Ajan M. J.,Kavinkumar Saravanan,Madhvi Dhamania,Nisha B,Rabbanie Tariq Wani 대한심장학회 2021 Korean Circulation Journal Vol.51 No.12

Background and Objectives: Knowledge about myocardial Infarction (MI) symptoms is crucial because inadequate awareness ensures direct association with patient delay and adverse health events subsequently. Methods: PRISMA guidelines were followed while conducting the systematic review with PROSPERO number CRD42020219802. An electronic search was conducted comprehensively through 5 databases to find those relevant articles systematically. Prevalence was calculated for each typical symptom of MI separately and subgroup analysis according to continent, country, gender and ethnicity was done. Meta-Analysis was conducted by using statistical software R version 3.4.3. A random-effects model was used. Results: Studies from 35 different countries with 120,988,548 individuals were included in the final analysis. The prevalence of chest pain awareness was highest, while it was lowest for jaw, back, and neck pain. There was no difference in terms of awareness in males and females. Prevalence of awareness of typical MI symptoms was higher in the Caucasian white, white, and non-Hispanic white groups than in other groups. The prevalence varies from less than 5% in African countries such as Kenya, Tanzania and Asian countries such as Nepal to as high as 90% in Germany. Conclusions: People are well aware of chest pain as a symptom of MI. However, there is limited knowledge regarding other typical symptoms of MI.
