      • Service Dynamic Trust Evaluation Model based on Bayesian Network in Distributed Computing Environment

        In recent years, with the rapid development of computer network, distributed computing system has a very vast application prospect and potential utility value, which opens up a wealth of opportunities for different applications. With the characteristics of dynamic, heterogeneity, distribution, openness, voluntariness, uncertainty and deception, how to obtain trustworthy computing resource becomes a key issue in large-scale distributed computing research. Therefore, with considering the complex characters of trust in distributed computing environment, firstly, we construct STE architecture to rank and observe trust, which includes STE Broker, Monitoring and STE Catalogue. Secondly, a more comprehensive dynamic trust evaluation model is constructed based on Bayesian network. Finally, we apply simulation platform to imitate trust evolution process and collect related data, and the proposed method has been serviced in complex simulation system, and the results have indicated that the model is unbiased and effective. The first part is the research status and related problems. The second part is the establishment of an evaluation model. The last part is the experimental analysis and conclusion.

        Fixed-time Input-to-state Stability via Generalized Homogeneous Approximations

        In order to extend the existing fixed-time control robustness results for double-integrator systems to general nonlinear systems, the fixed-time input-to-state stability (FT-ISS) of a class of nonlinear system with bounded exogenous disturbances is studied through generalized homogeneous approximations in this paper. To this end, the definitions of finite-time and fixed-time class KL functions are given. Based on the definitions, the sufficient conditions of the FT-ISS property with respect to exogenous disturbances are proposed. Then, a class of fixed-time filters is designed under the principle of generalized homogeneous approximations. As a particular example, the stability and frequency characteristics of the low-pass fixed-time filter are analyzed by the presented sufficient conditions and describing function method, respectively. Finally, a simulation example is presented to illustrate the efficiency of the fixed-time filter.

        Changes in fl avor-relevant compounds during vine ripening of tomato fruit and their relationship with ethylene production

        Flavor quality is import for determining consumer perception and acceptance of tomato products. In this study, ‘Fendou’tomato fruit were harvested at six ripening stages and sampled to investigate the development of fl avor-relevant compoundsduring vine ripening. Results showed that upon the initiation of ripening there was an increase in respiration rate and concomitantethylene evolution that was associated with increased membrane permeability. In accordance with these physiologicalchanges, fl avor-relevant compounds demonstrated diff erent expression patterns as fruit ripened, which contributedto ‘red-ripe’ fl avor characteristics of red-ripe fruit. Based on correlation analysis between ethylene evolution and the fl avorrelevantcompounds during ‘Fendou’ tomato ripening and the other researchers’ reports, the activation of System 2-dependentautocatalytic ethylene production plays an important role in the development of most fl avor-relevant compounds duringtomato vine ripening. Overall, our results suggested that most fl avor-relevant compounds that accumulated the most duringtomato fruit ripening at red stage could be under ethylene regulation and were among the most important contributors tothe ‘red-ripe’ fl avor. Due to the development of these compounds, the fl avor quality at late ripening stages is diff erent fromthat of fruit at early ripening stages.

        An Optimization Model for Low Carbon Oriented Modular Product Platform Planning (MP3)

        Consumers, industry, and government entities put more focus on the global warming. With this point in view, enterprises have started to take into account of the low carbon idea to develop products. Recently, lots of firms are using the Modular Product Platform Planning (MP3) between product generations for the rapid update of products with lesser production costs and time to market. Traditionally, MP3 mainly concerns on module sharing between product generations in modular planning, but pays no attention to the environmental concern which becomes an important design criterion due to the rising awareness of environmental protection. In this paper, an optimization model for low carbon oriented MP3 is presented. To support low carbon oriented MP3, this article proposed a probability approach to evaluate the scheme of modular planning for MP3. Meanwhile, a measurement method for low carbon performance of modular planning is provided. Then, an optimization model for low carbon oriented MP3 is formulated to determine the modular planning in pursuit of maximizing the low carbon performance of the product with controlling the implementation probability of MP3. Furthermore, an Adaptive Memetic Algorithm (AMA) is developed for solving the optimization problem. Finally, a case study is proposed to validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

        An Analysis Framework for Characterization of Electrical Power Data in Machining

        Electrical power data of machining has become more and more vital due to the increasing concerns on the energy efficiency. As a kind of easily available real-time signal, electrical power data in machining involves diverse characteristics related to technical specification and operational production of machine tools and workpieces. To efficiently exploit the various characteristics involved in electrical power data, this paper proposes a framework to analyze characteristics of electrical power data in machining. Firstly, the sample experiment for turning the round stock on a lathe is carried out to investigate the characteristics implied in the real-time electrical power data. Based on it, a framework is derived to analyze characteristics from three aspects, energy-specific characteristic of machining, state-specific characteristic of machine tools and operation-specific characteristic of workpieces. The case with three scenarios is presented to demonstrate the potential applications of the framework, which is effectively utilized in analyzing energy consumption of machining, monitoring states of machine tools and automatically identifying the types of machining workpieces.

        CFD simulation and optimization on airflow uniformity of material drying room used in steam blanching and hot-air vacuum drying equipment

        Airflow velocity uniformity in material drying room used in steam blanching and hot-air vacuum drying equipment is crucial for obtaining a good drying quality of fruits and vegetables. To analyze the airflow velocity uniformity and give the optimization design for improving the airflow uniformity, CFD method is used for the flow field analysis of material drying room and the velocity non-uniformity coefficient is used as the evaluation indicator for the velocity uniformity. Results show that the airflow velocity distribution in the material drying room at the original inlet airflow distribution chamber is relatively uneven and the airflow velocity nonuniformity coefficient in drying area is 34 %. For reducing the airflow velocity non-uniformity, the airflow velocity distribution of three structural modification directions with 12 designs in total are analyzed and compared. The minimum airflow velocity non-uniformity coefficient for adding a spoiler model, reducing the closed end width and adding nozzle baffles are 17.1 %, 30.2 %, 10.4 %, respectively. Through comparison, adding the nozzle baffle with a width of 11 mm at the rear end of each nozzle outlet is considered as the optimal designs to conduct the experimental validation. Experimental validation results shows the the relative error between the simulated value and the measured value is within 10 %, proving that the CFD prediction results is reliable and the research results can give a theoretical reference for the designers to evaluate and optimize the structure of inlet airflow distribution chamber for improving the airflow uniformity in drying area.

        Preparation of the Water-Soluble Fluorene-Containing Fluorescent Polymer by One-Pot Method

        A water-soluble fluorescent polymer, 2,7-di{4'-[3''-(S-poly(acryloyl ethylene diamine hydrochloride)-2'''- methyl propionic acid)propionyloxy hexyloxy]phenyl}-9,9-di(n-octyl)fluorene (P3) with regular and ordered structure, was designed and synthesized with high conversion using click reaction between thiols and carbon-carbon double bonds. Because the S-H bond is relatively weak, thiol groups are subject to rapid oxidation during purification and storage and thereby result in the low conversion in the following click reaction. To circumvent this limitation, the synthesis of thiol groups and click reaction were simultaneously performed in one system (one-pot method). The intermediate products P1 (S-1-dodecyl-S'-[poly(N-Boc-acryloyl ethylene diamine)-2'-methyl propionic acid]trithiocarbonate) and M2 (2,7-di[4-(acryloyloxy hexyloxy)phenyl]-9,9-di(n-octyl)fluorene) were prepared via reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization and Williamson synthesis, respectively. Then, 2,7- di{4'-[3''-(S-poly(N-Boc-acryloyl ethylene diamine)-2'''-methyl propionic acid)propionyloxy hexyloxy]phenyl}- 9,9-di(n-octyl)fluorene (P2) was synthesized with high conversion (83%) by employing a click reaction with P1 and M2 as starting materials. Finally, water-soluble fluorescent polymer P3 was obtained after the deprotection of P2. M2, P1, P2 and P3 were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrum, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), high-resolution mass spectroscopy (MS), gel permeation chromatograph (GPC), UV-Visible (UV-Vis) spectrum, and fluorescence, respectively. The results revealed that P3 displayed good solubility in water and not only exhibited a blue fluorescence emission band in water but also had a similar photoluminescent spectra to those of M2 and P2 in dichloromethane. The fluorescence quantum yield of P3 in aqueous solution could reach 0.10. In addition, the result of cell cytotoxicity indicates that P3 has low cytotoxicity and exhibits potential for biomedical applications. This work provides a new insight into the study of water-soluble fluorescent polymer.

        Effect of reduced energy density of close-up diets on metabolites, lipolysis and gluconeogenesis in Holstein cows

        Objective: An experiment was conducted to determine the effect of reduced energy density of close-up diets on metabolites, lipolysis and gluconeogenesis in cows during the transition period. Methods: Thirty-nine Holstein dry cows were blocked and assigned randomly to three groups, fed a high energy density diet (HD, 1.62 Mcal of net energy for lactation [NEL]/kg dry matter [DM]), a medium energy density diet (MD, 1.47 Mcal NEL/kg DM), or a low energy density diet (LD, 1.30 Mcal NEL/kg DM) prepartum; they were fed the same lactation diet to 28 days in milk (DIM). All the cows were housed in a free-stall barn and fed ad libitum. Results: The reduced energy density diets decreased the blood insulin concentration and increased nonesterified fatty acids (NEFA) concentration in the prepartum period (p<0.05). They also increased the concentrations of glucose, insulin and glucagon, and decreased the concentrations of NEFA and β-hydroxybutyrate during the first 2 weeks of lactation (p<0.05). The plasma urea nitrogen concentration of both prepartum and postpartum was not affected by dietary energy density (p>0.05). The dietary energy density had no effect on mRNA abundance of insulin receptors, leptin and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ in adipose tissue, and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase, carnitine palmitoyltransferase-1 and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-α in liver during the transition period (p>0.05). The HD cows had higher mRNA abundance of hormone-sensitive lipase at 3 DIM compared with the MD cows and LD cows (p = 0.001). The mRNA abundance of hepatic pyruvate carboxykinase at 3 DIM tended to be increased by the reduced energy density of the close-up diets (p = 0.08). Conclusion: The reduced energy density diet prepartum was effective in controlling adipose tissue mobilization and improving the capacity of hepatic gluconeogenesis postpartum.
