        세신약침(細辛藥鍼)의 천식억제 및 면역조절효과에 대한 실험적 연구

        Objectives and methods: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of AHCR(ASARI HERBA CUM RADICE) herbal acupuncture at St36 on ovalbumin-induced asthma in mice. C57BL/6 mice were sensitized and challenged with OVA(ovalbumin) for 12 weeks(once a week). Two experimental groups were treated with different concentrations(1%, 0.1%) of AHCR-HAS at Chok-samni (St36) for the later 8 weeks (3times/week). Results: 1. Lung weight of the mice group treated with AHCR-HA decreased significantly compared with that of control group. 2. Total Leukocytes in BALF of the mice group treated wtih AHCR-HA decreased significantly compared with those of control group. 3. The number of Eosinophils in BALF of the mice group treated wtih AHCR-HA decreased significantly compared with that of control group. 4. The number of Gr-1+ /CD11b+, CCR3+, CD4+, CD3e+/CD69+, IgE+/B220+ cells in the lungs of the mice group treated with AHCR-HA decreased significantly compared with that of control group. 5. The number of CD8+ cells in the lungs of the mice group treated with AHCR-HA didn`t show significant difference compared with that of control group. 6. The concentration of IgE, IL-13, IL-4 in serum of the mice group treated with AHCR-HA decreased significantly compared with that of control group. Conclusion: We conclude that AHCR-HA is effective on OVA-induced asthma in C57BL/6 mouse.

        A hot-water extract of <i>Sanguisorba officinalis</i> ameliorates endotoxin-induced septic shock by inhibiting inflammasome activation : HSO attenuates inflammasome activation

        <P>The inflammasome is a multiprotein signaling complex that mediates inflammatory innate immune responses through caspase 1 activation and subsequent IL-1 secretion. However, because its aberrant activation often leads to inflammatory diseases, targeting the inflammasome holds promise for the treatment of inflammation-related diseases. In this study, it was found that a hot-water extract of Sanguisorba officinalis (HSO) suppresses inflammasome activation triggered by adenosine 5-triphosphate, nigericin, microbial pathogens, and double stranded DNA in bone marrow-derived macrophages. HSO was found to significantly suppress IL-1 production in a dose-dependent manner; this effect correlated well with small amounts of caspase 1 and little ASC pyroptosome formation in HSO-treated cells. The anti-inflammatory activity of HSO was further confirmed in a mouse model of endotoxin-induced septic shock. Oral administration of HSO reduced IL-1 titers in the serum and peritoneal cavity, increasing the survival rate. Taken together, our results suggest that HSO is an inhibits inflammasome activation through nucleotide-binding domain and leucine-rich repeat pyrin domain 3, nucleotide-binding domain and leucine-rich repeat caspase recruitment domain 4 and absent in melanoma 2 pathways, and may be useful for treatment of inflammasome-mediated diseases.</P>

        To strand river capital planning, flow situation like low-flow in small rivers used to be calculated as the ratio of area by flow situation in other large rivers. Which is because the small rivers don't have a survey about the small watershed area water-level and discharge. Therefore, this study has examined the low-flow estimation computerizing the dearth water discharge amount in small rivers. The low-flow statistics which is calculated by independent variables of the watershed area(A), the average basin slope(S), the void ratio(V), the volume of pores(V_f), the mountain ratio(M) and the year average amount of rainfall(R) is as follows.       • 무선데이터 통신(2.4GHz대)을 이용한 수문 원격제어장치 개발에 관한 연구

        The world's supply of water in all forms is enormous. However, only a tiny fraction of the planet's supply is available to us as fresh water, and that is distributed very unevenly. About 97% of water volume is found in the oceans and is too salty for drinking, growing crops, and most industrial uses except cooling. In addition, water supply crises in already-water-short-regions will intensify because population and industrialization increase. Today, remote monitoring and control systems are becoming the cost-effective management tools for almost all water user groups, including irrigators, water districts, municipal water suppliers, and wildlife management groups. This paper represents a new approach in the water-gate control using radio communication. The proposed device is simple in structure and suitable for implementation of water-gate control through the transceiver by radio communication. It was confirmed that the developed device was very efficient to control level of water-gate and to prove the up and down motion of water-gate through the LCD displayer.

        초등학교 6학년 과학 수업의 사회적 참여구조 유형

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the interaction patterns between teachers and students appeared in sixth grade elementary science lessons. To this end, we set research questions as what are the types of SPS (Social Participation Structure) between teachers and students in the class. Eighteen elementary science lessons were observed. Data were collected by video recordings and observation method. The result showed that the types of SPS were classified into nine. 1) A teacher initiates the whole students into interaction with him. 2) The whole students keep silent or carry out specific activities under the teacher's direction. 3) A teacher initiates some students into interaction. 4) A teacher names specific students to read a text. 5) A teacher initiates the whole students into group interactions. 6) Students interact with each other irrespective of the teacher's intention. 7) Students initiate a teacher into interaction with them. 8) A teacher intervenes during the students' activities and this intervention, in turn, produces interactions between the teacher and the students. 9) A teacher directs the whole class to read a learning goal or a learning material. This study shows that SPS-1 and SPS-3 are the most frequently observed interaction patterns in the elementary science lessons.

        Candida utilis에 의한 Cytidine 5'-diphosphate Choline의 발효생산

        CDP-choline is known as an intermediate of lecithin biosynthesis, and as an important drug for nervous diseases of the brain. For the bioconversion of CMP and choline to CDP-choline, ATP is required as an energy source. In these studies, the biosynthetic reaction of CDP-choline was coupled with ATP regenerating system by glycolysis. As a microorganism containing the highest conversion activity of CMP and choline to CDP-choline, Candida utilis ATCC 42416 was selected. The optimum reaction condition were 50mM choline chloride, 20mM CMP, 100mM potassium phosphate (pH8.0), 300mM glucose, 50mM MgSO₄, 10% dried cells with shaking incubation at 30℃. The reaction was thus performed for 10 hours under the above optimum conditions. The concentration of CDP-choline was 16mM (80% in conversion ratio).

      • 허브식물의 속명 어원에 관한 조사분석

        원예치료용으로도 다수 이용되고 있는 허브식물의 특성 파악과 정확한 구분, 교육 및 연구에 효율적으로 이용할 수 있는 기초자료 수립측면에서 허브식물 97종의 속명 어원을 조사하였다. 허브식물의 속명 유래를 조사한 결과 성분 및 용도(27.8%), 언어명(23.7%), 형태(13.4%), 신화(7.2%), 향기(6.2%), 생육습성(6.2%), 색깔(5.2%), 인명(4.1%), 기타(00%)에서 유래된 것 순이었다. 성분 및 용도에서 유래된 것은 주로 약리 작용에서 유래된 비율이 높았다. 언어명에서 유래된 것은 주로 고대 그리스 및 로마시대의 식물명이었다. 형태에서 유래된 것은 허브식물의 잎과 줄기, 꽃 및 뿌리가 속명의 유래원이었다. 신화에서 유래된 것은 주로 기쁨이나 약효와 관련된 것이었다. 향기에서 유래된 것은 식물의 전체 혹은 종자에서 냄새가 나는 것에서 유래되었다. 생육습성은 자생지역이나 개화습성, 덩굴성 등의 특성이 반영되어 있었다. 기타 식물의 꽃, 잎, 뿌리의 색깔과 왕의 이름, 맛 지명, 벌, 꽃이 아름다운데서 유래된 것이 있었다. The derivation of genera names in 97 herb plants were investigated to obtain the basis information useful for understanding the characteristics of herbs, classifying correctly, teaching and researching about them. Most genera names were derived from constituent and utilization(27.8%), and followed by language(23.7%), morphological characters(13.4%), myth(7.2%), odor(6.2%), color(5.2%) and human's name(4.1%) orderly. Genera names derived from constituent and utilization were originated mostly from medicinal effect, and those from language name were mostly originated from the plant names of Greek and Rome. Genera names derived from myth were mostly originated from delight and medicinal effect, and those from oder were originated from order of whole plant or seed. Genera names derived from growth habit indicate the character of flowering habit, native location and vine. The others of genera names were originated from the color of flower, leaf and root, king's name, taste, place name and flower beauty.
