      • Three-Dimensional, Inkjet-Printed Organic Transistors and Integrated Circuits with 100% Yield, High Uniformity, and Long-Term Stability

        <P>In this paper, we demonstrate three-dimensional (3D) integrated circuits (ICs) based on a 3D complementary organic field-effect transistor (3D-COFET). The transistor-on-transistor structure was achieved by vertically stacking a p-type OFET over an n-type OFET with a shared gate joining the two transistors, effectively halving the footprint of printed transistors. All the functional layers including organic semiconductors, source/drain/gate electrodes, and interconnection paths were fully inkjet-printed except a parylene dielectric which was deposited by chemical vapor deposition. An array of printed 3D-COFETs and their inverter logic gates comprising over 100 transistors showed 100% yield, and the uniformity and long-term stability of the device were also investigated. A full-adder circuit, the most basic computing unit, has been successfully demonstrated using nine NAND gates based on the 3D structure. The present study fulfills the essential requirements for the fabrication of organic printed complex ICs (increased transistor density, 100% yield, high uniformity, and long-term stability), and the findings can be applied to realize more complex digital/analogue ICs and intelligent devices.</P>

        Fabrication of ultrathin low-voltage-driven printed organic circuits with anodized gate islands

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Anodization of gate metals can form thin and robust oxide dielectrics of low-voltage-driven organic thin-film transistors (TFTs) for low-cost, flexible electronics. However, anodic oxide dielectrics have rarely been applied to circuit fabrication with complex layouts because separate gate electrode islands cannot be anodized at the same time. To overcome this limitation, we devise a method to simultaneously anodize multiple aluminum gate islands using removable interconnects. The anodic oxide properties, including dielectric constant, film thickness, and leakage current, were thoroughly investigated by varying anodization voltages from 5 to 50 V and a self-assembled monolayer treatment. By printing p-type polymer ink on top of the pattern-grown anodic oxide dielectrics, p-type organic TFTs were fabricated on a 2-μm-thick Parylene substrate. The printed TFTs exhibited subthreshold swing of 200 mV·dec<SUP>−1</SUP>, carrier mobility of 0.3 cm<SUP>2</SUP> V<SUP>−1</SUP> s<SUP>−1</SUP>, and threshold voltage of 0.17 V on average. Even when the substrate film was crumpled, the TFT characteristics did not substantially changed. Finally, a 3 V differential amplifier with multiple gate islands was successfully demonstrated.         Comorbidity of Paraphilia and Personality Disorders in Sex Offenders

        많은 치료법에도 불구하고, 유죄 선고를 받은 성범죄자들은 또 다른 성범죄를 저지르는 경향이 있다. 특히 성범죄자들이 성도착증과 성격장애를 동시에 앓고 있는 상태는 그들이 살고 있는 지역 사회의 안전에도 위험을 끼치기 때문에, 이에 대한 효과적 치료법이 매우 중요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 성범죄자 인구들이 앓고 있는 성도착증과 성격장애의 중복이환을 검토하기 위함이다. 실증 연구들의 사례 리뷰에 의하면 성도착증을 가진 범죄자들은 상당히 높은 확률로 성격 장애를 앓고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 본 연구는 국내에서는 처음으로 성범죄자의 성도착증 연관성에 대하여 국내외 선행자료를 종합하였다는 데 큰 의의가 있으며 성범죄, 중복이환 등은 보건부문에서 단독으로 추진하기에는 한계가 있기에 향후 다부문, 다학제적 접근이 가능한 연구여건의 형성이 요구된다. Despite various treatments, there is a tendency of convicted sex offenders to recidivate by committing additional sex crimes. Especially when the offenders are diagnosed comorbidly with paraphilia and personality disorders, effective treatment is critical because this difficult condition can be harmful to their psychological well-being and the security of the communities in which these men live. The aim of this review is to examine the comorbidity of personality disorders and paraphilia in the male sex offender population. This study is highly meaningful as not only it is the first domestic research on the link between paraphilia and sex crimes, integrating the preceding data from both domestic and international research, but also as it synthesizes the studies of criminal psychology, social welfare and clinical psychology.

        Study of Composite Adsorbent Synthesis and Characterization for the Removal of Cs in the High-salt and High-radioactive Wastewater

        본 연구에서는 고염/고방사성 폐액 내 함유된 주요 고방사성핵종인 Cs 제거를 목적으 로 고효율의 복합 흡착제(potassium cobalt ferrocyanide (PCFC)-loaded chabazite (CHA)) 합성 및 이의 적용성을 평가하 였다. 복합 흡착제는 Cs을 비롯한 다 른 입자를 수용할 수 있는 CHA를 지지체로 선정하였으며, CoCl2 및 K4Fe(CN)6 용액 의 단계적인 함침/침전을 통해 PCFC를 CHA 세공 내에 고정화함으로써 합성하였다. 복합 흡착제의 합성 시 평균 입자크기가 10 ㎛ 이상의 CHA를 지지체로 사용할 경우, PCFC 입자는 안정적인 형태로 고정화되었다. 또한, 합성 시 복합 흡착제의 정 제를 증가시키는 세척 방법을 최적화함 으로써, 복합 흡착제의 물리적 안정성이 향상되었다. 최적의 합성법을 통해 얻은 복합 흡착제에 의한 Cs 흡착 시, 담수(무염 조건) 및 해수(고염 조건)에서 모두 빠른 흡착 속도를 보였으며, 염 농도와 무관하게 비교적 높은 분배계수 값(104 mL·g-1 이상)을 나타내었다. 그러므로, 본 연구에서 합성한 복합 흡착제는 CHA 및 PCFC가 각각 가지고 있는 물리적 안정성과 Cs 에 높은 선택성 등을 고려하여 촤적화한 소재이며, 고염/고방사성폐액에 함유되어 있 는 Cs을 고효율로 신속하게 제거할 수 있음을 알 수 있다. For the removal of cesium (Cs) from high radioactive/high salt-laden liquid waste, this study synthesized a highly efficient composite adsorbent (potassium cobalt ferrocyanide (PCFC)-loaded chabazite (CHA)) and evaluated its applicability. The composite adsorbent used CHA, which could accommodate Cs as well as other molecules, as a supporting material and was synthesized by immobilizing the PCFC in the pores of CHA through stepwise impregnation/precipitation with CoCl2 and K4Fe (CN)6 solutions. When CHA, with average particle size of more than 10 ㎛, is used in synthesizing the composite adsorbent, the PCFC particles were immobilized in a stable form. Also, the physical stability of the composite adsorbent was improved by optimizing the washing methodology to increase the purity of the composite adsorbent during the synthesis. The composite adsorbent obtained from the optimal synthesis showed a high adsorption rate of Cs in both fresh water (salt-free condition) and seawater (high-salt condition), and had a relatively high value of distribution coefficient (larger than 104 mL·g-1) regardless of the salt concentration. Therefore, the composite adsorbent synthesized in this study is an optimized material considering both the high selectivity of PCFC on Cs and the physical stability of CHA. It is proved that this composite adsorbent can remove rapidly Cs contained in high radioactive/high salt-laden liquid waste with high efficiency.

        <P>Conclusion: This controlled laboratory study verified, on the basis of biomechanics and histology, the potential for the use of ADFs in rotator cuff healing. The current results suggest a new biological supplement to increase the rate of rotator cuff healing.</P>

        Suppression of the Hybridization of Surface States and Transport Property in Ultrathin Bi₂Se₃/graphene Heterostructure

        Topological insulators (TIs) have gained considerable attention owing to their topologically protected helical edge states called topological surface states. To employ TIs, it is necessary to reduce film thickness and suppress effects from the bulk carrier. When the film thickness is less than 5 quintuple layers (QLs), the top and bottom surface states overlap, thereby increasing surface bandgap. In this study, we investigate the suppression of the hybridization of surface states in a 3-QL Bi₂Se₃/graphene heterostructure. In the 3-QL Bi₂Se₃ film grown on graphene, surface states affected by strain, and band bending effects from graphene are localized to the top and bottom and possess a closed bandgap. Further, we investigated transport properties in the 3-QL Bi₂Se₃/graphene heterostructure and verified the independent transport channels of Bi₂Se₃ and graphene, and the long coherence length of 534 nm. In conclusion, the closed bandgap and long coherence length in the 3-QL Bi₂Se₃/graphene heterostructure implies that the proximity effect in a TI/non-TI heterostructure can be attractive for future applications, beyond the physical and topological thickness limit.

        위중혈의 해부학적 구조와 자침법

        Introduction: The purpose of this study is to provide anatomical information of BL40 in- cluding applicable needling depth, bloodletting methods and related physiological effect. Methods: The contents about BL40 were extracted from literature. Then we investigated the clinical effect, needling feature (depth/angle/stimulation method) and the bloodlet- ting methods of BL40, searching online databases like ‘RISS’, ‘Oasis’, ‘DBPIA’, ’Naver Aca- demic information’, ‘National Research institute of Korea’, ‘Pubmed’, ‘Google scholar’ and ‘CNKI’ from 1990 to 2023. Results: According to the classic test, the needling depth of BL40 is 9.35-33.15 mm, that of previous research is 9.4 mm-23.4 mm. When acupuncture is applied at that level, stim- ulatable anatomical structures were deep popliteal fascia and tibial nerve. Conclusion: The remarkable effect of BL40 is originated from stimulation of deep popli- teal fascia and tibial nerve. It is necessary for BL40 to be stimulated as 15.5 mm depth.
