      • 신령버섯(아가리쿠스) 분말이 고지방을 섭취한 흰쥐의 단백질과 무기질 농도 및 효소활성에 미치는 영향

        고지방식이에 신령버섯 분말 첨가 식이를 섭취한 숫쥐의 성장률, 장기무게, 단백질과 무기질 농도 및 효소활성에 미치는 영향을 조사하고자, 성숙한 숫쥐에 표준식이를 급여한 정상군, 표준식이에 20% 돈지를 첨가한 식이를 급여한 고지방군, 고지방 식이에 신령버섯 자실체 분말을 3% 및 5%씩 첨가한 식이를 급여한 군(3% 및 5% 신령버섯군) 등 4군으로 나누어 10주간 사육한 결과는 다음과 같다. 실험동물의 체중증가량 및 식이효율은 고지방군에 비해 3% 신령버섯군이 다소 감소되었으나, 5% 신령버섯군은 유의하게 감소되었다. 간, 신장, 비장 및 고환의 무게는 고지방군과 신령버섯군들이 비슷하였으나, 부고환지방은 고지방군에 비해 신령버섯군들이 유의하게 감소되었다. 혈청의 단백질, 혈색소, 혈당, 칼슘, 무기인 및 마그네슘 농도는 정상군과 각 실험군이 비슷한 수준으로 신령버섯 섭취에 따른 영향은 나타나지 않았다. 혈청의 GOT, GPT, r-GTP, LDH 및 alkaline phosphatase의 활성은 정상군과 각 실험군이 유의한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 이상의 결과로 보아 고지방식이에 신령버섯분말을 5% 첨가한 식이가 성숙한 흰쥐의 체중증가와 부고환지방 축적을 억제하는 효과가 나타났다. 혈청의 단백질, 혈색소, 혈당, 칼슘농도 및 효소활성은 정상수준을 유지하였다. The effects of the fruiting body of Agaricus blazei Murill on the weight gains, food intakes, food efficiency ratios, serum and hepatic lipids concentrations were investigated in male rats. Sprague-Dawley adult rats, were given four different types of diets for a succeeding period of 10 weeks: either a normal diet (5% corn oil), a high fat diet (high fat; 20% lard), a 3% or 5% Agaricus diet (high fat diet + 3% or 5% Agaricus powder). The body weight gains and food efficiency ratios of the rats fed 5% Agaricus diet were significantly lower than those of the rats fed the high fat diet. The epididymal fat pad weights of the rats fed 3% or 5% Agaricus diets were significantly lower than those of the rats fed the high fat diet. The weights of hepatic, kidney, spleen and epididymis in the rats fed Agaricus diets were similar to those in the rats fed the high fat diet. There were no differences in the serum concentrations of protein, albumin, and calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and enzyme activity among the experimental groups. These results showed that the 5% Agaricus diet feeding decreased the body weight and epididymal fat pad weight.

      • 蛋白質水準이 血淸 및 肝 脂質濃度에 미치는 영향

        This expriment was conducted to study the effect of different levels of protein on serum and liver lipids in rats. The concentrations of serum and liver total lipid, total cholesterol and serum high density lipoprotein(HDL) cholesterol as well as hemoglobin and hematocrit value were measured after feeding mature male (60 week-old) and female (30 week-old) Sprague-Dawley rats for 4 weeks. The three dietary protein levels used were 10, 18 and 24%. Serum and liver total lipid concentrations of male rats in 10% protein group were higher than those in 18% and 24% protein group, but the female rats had no difference in each diet group. Hemoglobin and hematocrcit value as well as serum and liver total cholesterol concentrations of the male and female rats were not affected by dietary protein levels. Serum HDL-cholesterol concentrations and HDL-cholesterol per total cholesterol ratio ofmale rats significantly increased in 18% protein group compared with 10% and 24% protein groups, but the female rats had no difference in the levels of protein.

      • 단백질 수준이 흰쥐의 철, 구리 및 아연의 대사에 미치는 영향

        This thesies is focused on the effects of alternate changes of dietary protein levels on iron., copper and zinc metabolism in mature(18-month-old) male rats. In the experiment, the rats were fed on diets of various protein levels for 4 weeks:(1) Group Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ received diets of 8%, 16% and 24% protein respectively throughout the experiment; (2) Group Ⅳ received alternate 3-day diets of 8% protein and 1-day diets of 24% protein throughout the experiment: and (3) Group Ⅴ received alternate 3-day diets of 24% protein and 1-day diets of 8% protein throughout the experiment. The iron concentrations of the heart of rats in Group Ⅱ and of the muscles of those in Group Ⅲ proved to be lower than those in the other groups, at the end of 4-week's experiment. The iron concentration of serum was significantily higher in Group Ⅰ than those in other groups. Group Ⅲ was highest of all the groups in the copper concentrations of kidney, muscle, and serum and the femur zinc concentration. However, neither the constancy of a protein level nor the alternate changes of protein levels affected the iron concentrations of liver, kidney, and spleen, the copper concentrations of liver and heart, and the zinc concentrations of serum and spleen. The experiment also proved that the increased proportion of dietary protein did not change the rates of apparent absorption of iron, copper and zinc.

      • 老齡者의 健康管理에 대한 硏究 : 釜山地域을 中心으로

        This study aims to research on the actual state of the ways that the aged people in Busan use intentionally or unintentionally t maintain their health. The aged people selected randomly for this study are 627 aged men and 1615 aged women who are all more than 65 years old. Many of these aged people, 59.2% of the men and 80.9% of the women, are now retired, and the people who still have means of making a living engage in independent occupations such as agriculture, commerce and industry. The results of this study are summed up as follows: 1. As for their staple foods, the majority of them eat mixed food of rice and barley, and the rest eat rice or minor-grain mixed rice. As subsidiary foods, vegetables are the most common side dishes, and fish, meat, and sea weeds are taken by the minority of them. 2. Most of them (83.7%) frequently or occasionally eat special health foods to maintain their health. The most common health food turned out to be honey. 3. The majority of them refrain from drinking and smoking. 4. Manyof them(77.5%) of them men and 58.6% of the women) take light exercises such as climbing and walking. 5. The majority of them undergo regular or occasional medical examinations. As medical treatments, many of them(58.8%) take Chinese remedies, some of them (32.0%) western remedies and the others (8.2%) folk remedies. 6. Many of them (72.8%) feel subjective symptoms about some geriatric diseases such as neuralgia, hypertension and cough. 7. Their subjective judgements of their secrets of health and longitivity attach more importance to physical exercises than to nourishing meals. 8. Most of them want to be served with appropriate rest places, special medical facilities, health consultations, etc. This means that they want to be benefited by concrete and substantial welfare work. All these results reveal that health and longitivity of the aged people are maintained by necessary cares and efforts, not by accident nor by apathy. It is thus highly desired that many studies and enlightenments about this problem be carried out in future.

      • 단백질 수준이 암ㆍ숫쥐의 단백질대사에 미치는 영향

        The female(30-week-old) and male(60-week-0ld) Sprague-Dawley rats were fed experimental diets containing 10%, 18% and 24% protein for 4 weeks. Total protein and albumin concentrations in serum as well as hemoglobin and hematocrit value in blood were not affected by dietary protein levels. The concentrations of Urea nitrogen in serum of female and male rats were significantly higher in 18% and 24% protein diets compared with those in 10% protein diet. The levels of urinary urea nitrogen excretion of male rats were increased according to the increase in dietary protein levels. But the ratio of urea nitrogen to total urinary nitrogen was not influenced by dietary protein levels. The ratio of urea nitrogen/creatinine in serum and urinary excretion of female and male rats increased with increasing levels of protein intake. The ratio of urea nitrogen/creatinine in serum and urinary excretion of female and male rats increased with increasing levels of protein intake. The ratio of urea nitrogen/creatinine in urine of male rats for 10% protein diet group was 7.3, that was showed poor nutritive condition of protein. The concentrations of uric acid in liver of female and male rats fed high protein (24% protein) diet were significantly higher than those of the 10% and 18% protein diets. The apparent absorption and balance of nitrogen were significantly higher in high protein than those in low protein than those in low protein diet. Nitrogen absorption rates were as follows : 85.4%(female), 85.5%(male) for 10% protein diet, 89.4%, 91.3% for 18% protein diet and 92.8%, 93.5% for 24% protein diet in female and male rats respectively All experimental groups mere positive in nitrogen balance.

      • 남생이(Geoclemys reevesii) 소뇌에 있어서 raf Protein Kinase의 면역세포화학적 분포

        Raf oncogene is a transforming gene of retrovirus. 3611-murine sarcoma virus(3611-MSV) and there are active genes known in man. a-raf, b0raf and c-raf, A-raf and c-raf encode cytoplasmic protein related with serine/threonine specific protein kinase activity and also they are similar to protein kinase C in the functional structure and cellular distribution. In this study. the distribution of a-raf and coraf protein kinase was researched in the cerebellum of Geoclemys reevesii. Generally raf protein kinase was distributed limitedly in Purkinje cell layer. granular cell layer. and molecular cell layer of cerebellum. Especially it was strongly immunoreactive in the Purkinje cell. In Geoclemys reevesii, it was notable that the immunolabeling of a-raf protein kinase was shown a higher intensity than that of c-raf protein kinase.

      • 운지버섯 배양액이 고지방 식이를 섭취한 흰쥐의 단백질 및 무기질 농도에 미치는 영향

        운지버섯 균사체 배양액이 고지방 식이를 섭취한 성장기 흰쥐의 영양생리에 미치는 영향을 관찰하고자 생후 7주령의 숫쥐에 표준식이를 급여한 정상군, 고지방군 (15% 돈지첨가), 고지방식이와 음료수에 20% 및 30% 수준으로 운지버섯 균사체 배양액을 혼합한 군 (20% 및30% 운지버섯군)등 4군으로 나누어 5주간 사육하였다. 실험동물의 체중증가랑은 30% 운지버섯군이 고지방군에 비해 다소 감소되었다. 식이섭취량 및 식이효율, 그리고 간 및 신장의 무게는 고지방군과 20% 및 30% 운지버섯군이 비슷한 수준으로 나타났다. 부고환지방은 정상군에 비해 고지방군 및 운지버섯군들이 유의하게 증가되어 운지버섯 섭취에 따른 감소효과는 나타나지 않았다. 혈청의 칼슘, 무기인 및 마그네슘 농도는 고지방군에 비하여 20% 및 30% 운지버섯군이 유의하게 증가하여 정상군과 비슷한 농도로 나타났다. 혈청의 총 단백질, 알부민, 혈당 및 혈색소 농도는 정상군과 각 실험군들이 비슷한 수준으로 운지버섯 음료 섭취에 따른 영향은 나타나지 않았다. 혈청의 GOT, GPT, γ-GTP 및 ALP 활성은 정상군과 각 실험군이 비슷한 경향이었다. 혈청의 LDH 활성은 정상군과 20% 및 30% 운지버섯군은 비슷하였으나 고지방군은 유의하게 감소되었다. 이상의 결과로 보아 고지방식이를 급여한 흰쥐에 운지버섯 균사체 배양액을 20%나 30%섭취에 의한 체중증가량과 장기 무게, 단백질농도 및 효소 활성에는 영향을 받지 않는 것으로 나타났으나, 혈청의 칼슘, 무기인 및 마그네슘 농도를 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. The effects of liquid culture of Coriolus versicolor on weight gain, food intakes, food efficiency ratios, serum protein and mineral levels, and serum enzyme activities, were studied in growing male rats. Sprague-Dawley rats were given four different types of diets for a succeeding period of 5 weeks, respectively: a normal diet group (7% corn oil), a high fat diet group (7% corn oil + 15% lard), a 20% or 30% C. versicolor diet groups (high fat diet + 20% or 30% C. versicolor in water) according to the levels of C. versicolor supplementation. The body weight gains and food intake of rats fed the 30% C. versicolor diets were lower than those in rats fed the high fat diet. The food efficiency ratios, liver and kidney weights of rats fed the 20% or 30% C. versicolor diets were similar to those of rats fed the high fat diet. But the epididymal fat pad weight of rats the fed high fat diet and the 20% or 30% C. versicolor diets were :significantly higher than that of rats fed the normal diet. The concentrations of the serum calcium, phosphorus and magnesium of rats fed the 20% and 30% C. versicolor diets were more significantly increased compared to rats fed the high fat diet, but those of rats fed the 20% and 30% C. versicolor diets were similar to those of rats fed the normal diet. The concentrations of total protein, albumin, hemoglobin and glucose in serum of rats fed the high fat diet, 20% and 30% C. versicolor diets were similar to those of rats fed the normal diet. There were no differences in the activities of glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, glutamic pyruvic transaminase, y -glutamyltranspeptidase and alkaline phosphatase in the serum among the experimental groups. The lactic dehydrogenase activity in serum of rats fed the 20% and 30% C. versicolor diets were similar to those of rats fed the normal diet, but that of rats fed the high fat diet was significantly decreased compared with that of rats fed the normal diet. These results showed that the 20% and 30% C. versicolor diets feeding increased the concentrations of serum calcium, phosphorus and magnesium in rats fed high fat diet.

      • 알콜과 단백질 수준이 흰쥐의 칼륨 ·마그네슘 및 아연의 대사에 미치는 영향

        The effects of ethanol and dietary protein levels on the potassium, magnesium and zinc metabolism were investigated in 15-week old male rats. Rats were divided into 4 groups : Control group(16% protein, 16PC) and 8% (8PE), 16% (16PE) and 24% (24PE) protein groups to which was given 5% ethanol mixed with their drinking water. Body weight gain, organ weight were not affected by either ethanol or dietary protein levels. Potassium and zinc concentrations of each organ were unchanged in the each groups. Muscle magnesium concentration was significantly higher in 8PE diet group than in control group but Liver, Heart, Kidney, Spleen and SErum magnesium concentration were not affected by either ethanol or dietary protein levels. Fecal zinc excretions in the ethanol in the ethanol treated groups(16PE) were significantly decreased compared with the control group. Apparent potassium, mangnesium, zinc absorption were unchanged by either ethanol group of dietary protein levels.

      • 발효홍차가 흰쥐의 혈전증과 혈액성분에 미치는 영향

        발효홍차를 음료수에 40% 수준으로 혼합하여 성숙된 흰쥐에 3주간 급여한 후, endotoxin으로 혈전증을 유발시켜 혈전 혈성에 관여하는 인자와, 혈청과 간의 지질농도 및 단백질 농도에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 체중과 간중량은 각 실험군이 차이를 보이지 않았다. 혈장의 prothrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time 및 thrombin time은 정상대조군과 발효홍차군(TF)이 비슷하였으나, endotoxin을 처리한 대조군(CE)이나 발효홍차군(TFE)이 정상 대조군에 비하여 유의하게 연장되었다. 혈청의 총 지질, 중성지질 및 인지질의 농도는 정상대조군과 발효 홍차군은 비슷하였으나, endotoxin을 처리한 CE군과 TFE군이 대조군에 비하여 유의하게 증가되었다. 혈청의 총 콜레스테롤 농도는 각 실험군이 변화를 보이지 않았으나 HDL-콜레스테롤 농도는 대조군에 비하여 CE군과 TFE군이 유의하게 감소되었다. 간의 중성지질, 인지질 및 총 콜레스테롤 농도는 모든 실험군에서 비슷한 경향을 보였다. 혈청의 단백질 농도는 대조군에 비하여 CE군과 TFE군이 유의하게 감소되었고, 알부민농도는 TFE군이 감소되었다. 간의 단백질 농도는 유의성 있는 변화는 보이지 않았다. This study was performed to investigate the effects of tea fungus on plasma clotting factors, serum lipid and protein concentrations of thrombosis versus non-thrombosis rats. The male rats (Sprague-Dawley, 25-week-old) were fed 40% tea fungus mixed with their dringking water or without tea fungus for 3 weeks, after the thrombosis was induced by injection of endotoxin into the caudal vein of rats. The rats were divided into 4 groups : control group, control group treated with endotoxin(CE), 40% tea fungus group(TF) and TF group treated with endotoxin(TFE). Prothrombin time, activated thromboplastin time and thrombin time were significantly elongated in the CE and TFE groups compared with those of the TF and control groups, but those were not affected by the tea fungus feeding. Serum total lipid, triglyceride and phospholipid concentration were significantly increased in the endotoxin-treated (CE and TFE) groups compared with those of the TF and control groups. Serum total cholesterol, liver lipids concentration of the CE, TF and TFE groups were similar to those of the control groups. Serum HDL-cholesterol concentration, HDL-cholesterol per total cholesterol ratio and total protein concentration in the CE and TFE groups were much lower than those in the TF and control groups. The results indicated that serum total lipid, triglyceride and phospholipid concentration were significantly increased, and HDL-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol per total cholesterol ratio and total protein concentration were decreased after inducing thrombosis by endotoxin.

      • 대두와 Magnesium 급여가 당뇨쥐의 혈청과 간의 단백질 농도 및 효소활성에 미치는 영향

        Streptozotocin으로 유발시킨 당뇨쥐에 20% 생콩 및 20% 생콩에 마그네슘을 첨가한 식이로 4주간 사육하였다. 체중, 간, 신장 및 비장의 무게, 간과 혈청중 단백질농도, 그리고 혈청중 GOT, GPT 및 alkaline phosphatase의 활성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 당뇨를 유발한 실험군은 당뇨병으로 인한 대사장애로 대조군에 비해 체중이 감소되었다. 간, 신장 및 비장의 무게는 대조군과 모든 당뇨군이 비슷하였으나, 체중에 대한 간, 비장 및 신장무게의 % 비율은 모든 당뇨군이 대조군보다 유의(p<0.05)하게 증가하였다. 간의 총 단백질과 albumin 농도는 대조군에 비해 모든 실험군에서 유의(p<0.05)하게 감소하였으나, 혈청의 총 단백질과 albumin의 농도 및 A/G ratio는 대조군과 각 당뇨실험군이 비슷한 수준을 보였다. Hemoglobin 농도와 hematocrit 치는 정상수준이었다. 혈청내 GPT 및 alkaline prosphatase의 활성은 대조군에 비해 모든 당뇨유발군이 유의(p<0.05)하게 증가되었다. 그리고 alkaline phosphatase의 활성은 당뇨대조군에 비해 당뇨생콩군과 당뇨생콩+Mg군은 다소 감소되었다. The effects of raw soy flour(RSF) and RSF with magnesium supplementation(RSF+ Mg) feeding on protein concentrations of liver and serum, and GOT, GPT and alkaline phosphatase activities of serum in diabetic versus nondiabetic rats were studied. Male rats(Spraque-Dawley ; mean weight 332.8±19.3g) were assigned to four dietary groups and fed experimental dietary for 28 days. For each experiment, some rats were injected with streptozotocin in intraperitonium(i.p.) to induce diabets, and the other rats were injected with buffer in i.p. as a nondiabetic group. The body weights of diabetic control, RSF and RSF+Mg groups were significantly decreased(p<0.05), but the total weights of liver, kidney and spleen in all the groups did not change compared with those of the nondiabetic group. Total protein and albumin concentrations of liver in all the groups were significantly lower(p<0.05) compared with those of the nondiabetic group. GPT and alkaline phosphatase activities in serum of all the groups were much more increased(p<0.05) than those of the nondiabetic group, but those of RSF and RSF+ Mg groups were similar to those of the diabetic control group.
