      • 사물인터넷을 위한 난수생성기의 속성 분석

        최근 사물인터넷을 위한 보안 기법들은 대부분 난수를 사용한다. 하지만 다양한 시스템에서 사용하고 있는 난수생성기에 대한 특성 분석이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 기존에 Kim과 Jeong이 제안한 센서기반 난수생성기를 살펴보고, 다양한 사물인터넷환경 에서의 난수 요구사항 분석을 통해 난수생성기의 특성을 분석하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 도출된 사물인터넷 환경의 난수 특성에 기반한 사물인터넷 환경을 위한 난수생성기의 개발은 보안 및 프라이버시 제공에 있어서 필수 불가결한 요소이다.

        션충원(沈從文)의 이상적 세계 ― 상반된 샹시(湘西)서사를 중심으로

        ShenCongWen identified himself as Miao nationality,and constructively disseminate the mysterious XingXi and ideal images of primitive people. But this identification as Miao people was merely for the instant use from his need. The XianXi, where hes ideally depicted in his novel, was not the place that exists in real, but was created for the alternative based on his experiences of modern urban civilization. Considering the imaginary world and the extremely glamorized characters, what reflected in XiangXi world was not his identity as Miao people, was that of becoming the other and being mystified. Still, as certain scholars are pointing out, this place was not the mythical world where the time stalls. In this place, the belief in the Ghost, which is criticized for superstition, and modern sciences are coexist without causing any mutual contradiction. It is also a place where free individuals and community spirit both complementarily exist. ShenCongWen, by using the image of Miao nationality andXiangXi, created his conceptual ideal world where the modernity andprimitiveness coexists.

        맹자 의리지변(義利之辨)에 관한 연구

        맹자는 공자를 계승하고 발전시키는 것을 자신의 학문적 목적으로 삼고, ‘천하 안정’을 실천적 과제로 삼았다. 이러한 목적과 과제를 위해 맹자는 당시 거의 모든 학파들과 논쟁을 하였는데, ‘사람과 짐승의 구분(人禽之辨)’, ‘왕도와 패도의 구분(王霸之辨)’, ‘군자와 소인의 구분(君子小人之辨)’, ‘經과 權의 문제’ 등이 주요 논제였다. 그런데 이들 논제들은 모두 義와 利의 문제와 관련이 있고, 특히 ‘의(義)와 이(利)의 구분(義利之辨)’이라는 핵심 문제를 둘러싸고 전개된 것이었다. 이 논문은 이러한 위치를 가지고 있는 맹자의 의리지변(義利之辨)을 그의 학문적 목적과 실천적 과제를 결합하는 맥락에서 분석한 것이다. 의리지변은 유가의 첫 번째 뜻(第一義)이다. 따라서 맹자의 의리지변을 분석하는 것은 맹자 사상의 핵심을 이해하는 관건적인 작업일 뿐 아니라, 유가의 도덕 선택 이론의 핵심을 이해하는 일이다. Mencius made it his academic purpose to inherit and develop Confucius, and made 'the stability of the world(天下安定)' a task of the times. For this purpose and task, Mencius argued with almost all schools at the time, and the main topics were "the distinction between ren(人) and qin(禽)," "the distinction between wang(王) and ba(覇)," "the distinction between Gentleman(君子) and Small Man (小人)," and "the issue of the Standard(經) and the Expedient(權)." However, all of these topics were related to the issue of yi(義) and li(利), and in particular, they were developed around the core issue of 'the distinction between yi(義) and li(利)'. This thesis analyzes Mencius's 'the distinction between yi(義) and li(利)', who has this position, in the context of his academic purpose and task of the times. The distinction between yi(義) and li(利) is the first proposition that Confucian scholars put meaning to. Therefore, analyzing the distinction between yi(義) and li(利) of the Mencius is not only a key task of understanding the core of the Mencius thoughts, but also understanding the core of the moral choice theory of Confucian scholars.

        Hybrid numerical modeling of ballistic clay under low-speed impact using artificial neural network

        Roma Plastilina No. 1 clay has been widely used as a conservative boundary condition in bulletproof vests, namely to play the role of a human body. Interestingly, the effect of this boundary condition on the ballistic performance of the vests is indiscernible. Moreover, back face deformation should be characterized by measuring the indentation in the deformed clay, which is important for determining the lethality of gunshots. Therefore, several studies have focused on modeling not only bulletproof vests but also the clay backing material. Despite various attempts to develop a suitable numerical model, determining the appropriate physical parameters that can capture the high-strain-rate behavior of clay is still challenging. In this study, we predicted indentation depth in clay using an artificial neural network (ANN) and determined the optimal material parameters required for a finite element method (FEM)-based model using an inverse tracking method. Our ANN-FEM hybrid model successfully optimized high-strain-rate material parameters without the need for any independent mechanical tests. The proposed novel model achieved a high prediction accuracy of over 98 % referring impact cases.

      • Easy Preparation of Readily Self-Assembled High-Performance Graphene Oxide Fibers

        <P>Graphene oxide (GO) was recently reported to assemble into one-dimensional fiber precursors that can be used to produce next-generation multifunctional graphene-based materials. This study describes the facile fabrication of GO fibers with excellent mechanical properties, utilizing a diamine cross-linker that forms ion bridges between the GO layers. Organic co-coagulants and postdrawing processes, which are usually employed in typical GO spinning processes, were not used here. The GO layers readily aligned along the spinning axis, and the GO formed closely packed structures in the fibers. The fibers displayed a Young’s modulus of 26.6 GPa and a maximal tensile strength of 384.3 MPa. The interlayer microstructure of the GO sheets could be tuned by modifying the structures of the cross-linking diamine groups, yielding a range of mechanical properties. These observations suggested that our newly developed GO fiber synthesis method could allow applications of graphene-based fibrous materials through GO surface chemistry modification approaches.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/cmatex/2014/cmatex.2014.26.issue-19/cm502614w/production/images/medium/cm-2014-02614w_0008.gif'></P>

        The stromal loss of miR-4516 promotes the FOSL1-dependent proliferation and malignancy of triple negative breast cancer

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Stroma-derived exosomal microRNA (exomiR) contributes to tumor progression, however, which remains poorly understood. In our study, we analyzed exomiRs from the cancer-associated fibroblast (CAF) and normal fibroblast (NF) isolated from an invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC) patient and found that the level of microRNA (miR)-4516 was approximately 5-fold lower in CAF-derived exosomes than NF-derived ones. In gene annotation analysis, miR-4516 target genes were mainly associated with the regulation of proliferation. miR-4516 overexpression or mimic treatment suppressed the proliferation of breast cancer cells, especially triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells. Among miR-4516 targets, FOSL1 was overexpressed in TNBC cells compared to non-TNBC cells and promoted tumor proliferation. The expression of miR-4516 and FOSL1 was reversely correlated in breast cancer patient tissues. Particularly, TNBC patients with high FOSL1 expression showed a significant poorer survival than those with low FOSL1 expression. Our results show that the loss of miR-4516 from CAF-derived exosomes is associated with FOSL1-dependent TNBC progression and suggest that miR-4516 can be used as an anti-cancer drug for TNBC.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> The loss of miR-4516 was associated with FOSL1-dependent TNBC progression. </LI> <LI> The level of miR-4516 was lower in CAF-derived exosomes than NF-derived ones. </LI> <LI> MiR-4516 suppressed the proliferation of TNBC cells by targeting FOSL1. </LI> </UL> </P>

      • Versatile reorganization of metal-polyphenol coordination on CNTs for dispersion, assembly, and transformation

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Considerable researches have reported on the design of superstructured materials to exploit synergistic properties derived from building units. However, it is still limited to utilize superstructured materials in diverse ways by manipulating their characteristics and structures according to the required properties. This study presents a novel strategy for utilizing versatile reorganization of metal-polyphenol coordination to design multifunctional macroscopic superstructured materials based on carbon nanotubes (CNTs). The metal-polyphenol compounds surrounding the surface of CNTs adjust surface charges to overcome strong intermolecular van der Waals interaction, thereby forming stable aqueous dispersion. It is possible to assemble distinctive honeycomb-structured CNT aerogel from highly concentrated CNT suspension due to tiny 2D structured TA that connects the CNTs. Furthermore, metal ion and TA on the CNT network can be converted to metal oxide nanoparticle coated with thin carbon layer, which exhibits high potential as an anode material for lithium-ion battery.</P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
