      • Experimental Waveforms of Single-Pulse Soft-Switching

        A new driving circuit for the SPSS (Single-Pulse Soft-Switching) PFC converter is proposed. The switching device of a SPSS converter switches once in every half cycle of an AC commercial power source. Therefore, it can be solved many problems caused by the high frequency operation. The proposed SPSS converter achieves the soft-switching operation and the EMI noise can be reduced The resonant capacitor voltage supplies to the resonant inductor even if the input AC voltage is the vicinity of zero cross voltage Then, the power factor and input current waveform can be improved without delay time A new driving circuit achieves the operation of SPSS converter by one switching drive circuit. The proposed converter can be satisfied the IEC standard sufficiently

        A PAM method reduces a voltage and current stresses of the inverter and motors. This paper proposes a new PAM inverter system with the PWM high power factor converter. The PWM power factor correction (PFC) converters can control the dc out­put voltage. A proposed PAM method can reduce the torque ripple in the induction motor and a switching losses in the inverter by providing a pausing interval where the switching operation stops during a part of one period.

        문학과 사회의 관계와 문학의 정치성에 대한 고찰 -동시대 현대문학을 매개로 한 사고와 토론 수업을 기반으로-

        This thesis discusses the relationship between literature and society and the political nature of literature based on the thinking and discussion class cases mediated by Korean modern literature in the interdisciplinary subject ‘Women and Literature’ class. The text of the class is Park Min-jung’s “Morgue Diorama”. This work crosses the exhibition of violence in the 21st century Korea’s digital sexual crime and the Morgue of the Paris Coroner’s Office at the end of the 19th century with apocalyptic imagination. This shows that digital sexual crimes brought about by the combination of high-tech technology and capital are virtually linked to old gender violence in human history. It also raises questions about the gaze of enjoying violence and the death of the (women) on display. This novel was read before class, submitted a book report, and introduced the case of the group presentation. In the process, the meaning of the contemporary writer’s reading was examined. This leads to the problem of the relationship between literature and society and the political nature of literature. It is empirically discussed what literary intervention is about the problems of the real society, and that more precise discussions and agreements are needed on the issues of literature and literariness. It also confirms the power of empathy and healing given by confessional and reflective writing and discussion. Students no longer want to read authoritative classics and refuse to interpret them in a one-way with fixed literary history. Then, it is necessary for the instructor to listen to what reading and writing students want in the curriculum and actual classes. This includes not only the question of which work they want to read, but also the question of which work they refuse to read. For open thinking and discussion classes, it is essential to communicate not only among students but also between teachers and students. 이 논문은 학제적 과목 ‘여성과 문학’ 수업에서 한국현대문학을 매개로 한 사고와 토론 수업사례를 바탕으로 문학과 사회의 관계와 문학의 정치성에 대해 논한다. 해당 수업 텍스트는 박민정의 「모르그 디오라마」이다. 이 작품은 21세기 한국에서의 디지털성범죄와 19세기말 파리 시체 공시소 모르그에서 벌어진 폭력의 전시와 향유를 종말론적 상상력으로 교차시킨다. 이를 통해 첨단 테크놀로지와 자본의 결합이 가져온 디지털성범죄가 사실상 인류역사에서 오래된 젠더 폭력과 연결되어 있음을 보여주며 폭력을 향유하는 시선과 전시되는 (여성의) 죽음에 대해 문제제기 한다. 수강생들이 소설을 수업 전에 미리 읽고 독후감을 제출하고 수업 중 조별 발표와 토론을 이어갔던 사례를 소개하고 그 과정에서 수강생들에게 동시대 작가의 문학읽기가 주는 의미를 고찰한다. 이는 문학과 사회의 관계와 문학의 정치성에 대한 문제로 이어진다. 현실사회의 문제에 대한 문학적 개입이어떤 것인지, 문학의 자리와 문학성의 문제에 대한 보다 정밀한 토론과 합의가 필요함을 실증적으로 논한다. 특히 대학교육의 현장에서 고민해야 할 문학의 정치성 관련 난제들을 성찰한다. 변화하는 문학 장과 문학행위 속에서 학생들은 권위를 부여받은 정전이라고 해도 수동적으로 읽기를 원하지 않으며 고정된 문학사와 일방향적인 해석을 거부한다. 그렇다면 교수자가 커리큘럼을 짜고 실제 수업을 진행하는 데 있어서 수강생들이 원하는 읽기와 쓰기가 어떤 것인지를 귀 기울일 필요가 있다. 열린 사고와 토론 수업을 위해서 수강생들끼리의 소통뿐만 아니라 교수자와 수강생들 사이의 양방향 소통이 필수적으로 요청된다.

      • Characteristics of PM Synchronous Motor with Trapezoidal EMF driven by Novel PWM Strategy

        A new modified trapezoidal modulating signal for pulse width modulation (PWM) inverter suitable for the Permanent Magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive is proposed in this paper. A new modulating signal for the PMSM drive is determined by the condition of reducing torque ripple of the motor with various electromotive force (EMF). Proposed modulating signal is able to decrease the torque ripple even if the motor has sinusoidal EMF or non-sinusoidal EMF. By using the proposed modulating signal, the system reduced the torque ripple as well as achieving the effective utilization of the DC supply voltage for the inverter. Many improvements are accomplished by the PWM strategy adapting the modified trapezoidal modulating signal without a change in hardware.

      • OUTPUT WAVEFORM ANALYSIS OF SINUSOIDAL PAM-PWM INVERTER

        A new PAM-PWM inverter suitable for use with power MOSFETs is described. The output waveforms in the proposed PAM-PWM inverter are investigated both theoretically and experimentally. The line-to-line voltage waveform is composed of fundamental component and the sidebands of carrier frequency. The lower-order harmonics are not included in the output<br/> waveform.<br/> As each inverter arm does not operate during two-thirds period, the heat generated in the devices are reduced. That is, the size of the inverter system is minimized because of the reduction in the heat dissipating equipment.

        OSAKA converter, which is a large scale three-phase soft-switching power factor corrected converter, is proposed. The converter switches once in every half cycle of an AC commercial power source.<br/> Therefore, it can solve many problems caused by the high frequency operation.       • Harmonic Analysis of High Power Factor Active Converter with New Soft-Switching Circuit

        This paper describes about an analysis of input and output waveforms of high power factor active converter with novel loss-less snubber. This active converter is used in the discontinuous mode of the dc reactor current. The control circuit for that mode is simple. In this mode, turn on of chopper device occurs at zero current, that is zero current switching. The switching off operation of proposed circuit achieves a zero voltage switching. It results in drastical decrease of the switching loss in the device. It is also indicated that total harmonic distortion of the input ac current waveform is improved by the excess current from the snubber capacitor. In this paper, we describe the analytical reslults of harmonic ditortion of the input and output current waveform of the proposed circuit.
