Tomography-based spatial uniformity diagnostics for meter-sized plasmas
Jang, Juhyeok,Park, Sanghoo,Park, Joo Young,Choe, Wonho IOP PUBLISHING 2018 PLASMA SOURCES SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.27 No.10
<P>Optical emission spectral tomography diagnostics have been developed to measure the spatial uniformity of meter-sized processing plasmas. The lines of sight and detector location are selected based on tomographic reconstruction tests using synthetic (phantom) images. The developed collection optics system is composed of slits, a plano-convex lens, optical interference filters and photodiode arrays. Using the collection optics, the line-integrated emission intensity is acquired from a meter-sized rectangular argon plasma (inductively coupled plasma at a frequency of 13.56 MHz), which was developed for display panel manufacturing. From the measured intensity, two-dimensional (2D) spatial distributions of argon atomic line intensity (675.3 nm and 852.1 nm) are obtained via the tomographic reconstruction technique based on the Phillips–Tikhonov regularization. In addition, 2D profiles of the electron excitation temperature (<I>T</I> exc) are obtained from those of Ar intensity at the wavelengths 675.3 nm and 852.1 nm via two line method (in essence, a Boltzmann plot). The 2D argon plasma emission and <I>T</I> exc profiles match well with the shape of the electrode and etch rate profile.</P>

In this study, the impact of managerial response on customer engagement behavior will be clarified. Furthermore, by using pre- and post-pandemic data, changes in the role of managerial response will be investigated. Based on previous studies, response length, response rate, and response time are used as a managerial response, and review ratings, review length, and review frequency are used as customer engagement behavior. Data was collected from Rakuten Travel targeting hotels registered with the Japan Hotel Association. It was revealed that response length had a significant impact on review length before the pandemic and response rate had a significant impact on review frequency in the early pandemic period. Thus, it was confirmed that the role of managerial response changed before and after the pandemic.
Moderate Effects of Managerial Response on Hotel Ratings of Japanese Tourists
Juhyeok JANG 한국유통과학회 2019 The Journal of Industrial Distribution & Business( Vol.10 No.7
Purpose - It is a very important issue for the Korean tourism industry to increase tourism revenue by attracting foreign tourists. Although Japanese tourists have been an important part of the Korean tourism industry for a long time, the level of tourist satisfaction including accommodation has been at the worst compared to other foreign visitors, which strongly requires concrete solutions. Therefore, this study focuses on improving the satisfaction level of Japanese visitors in the use of accommodation, and find out the influence of the managerial response. Research design, data, and methodology - In this study, customer review and managerial response of hotels in Seoul were collected from "Rakuten Travel" which is the most representative online travel agency in Japan. As a result of collecting data from 2016 to 2018, 6,190 customer reviews and 1,241 managerial responses from 120 hotels were used for analysis. In addition, information on the properties of 120 hotels, such as the number of rooms, classification, types of hotel facilities, types of room facilities, accessibility and prices, were collected. To test the hypotheses, moderated multiple regression analysis was conducted with SPSS 22.0. Results - It was found that only 25 sites, 20.8% of the total 120 sites, were implementing managerial response and average response rate was 66.42% among them. As a result of examining the main effects of the hotel attributes on the ratings, accessibility and price are confirmed as effective variables. We also found that the response rate has a significant moderate effect in both the accessibility and price. In other words, there was a significant difference in the influence of accessibility and price on the ratings depending on the response rate. Also, it was confirmed that the response rate is not a pure moderator variable but a quasi moderator variable. Overall, the evidences partially supported the hypothesis. Conclusion - It was possible to provide important suggestions to the hotel managers who were concerned about managing tourist satisfaction with accessibility problems. It was found that the accessibility problem could be overcome by increasing the response rate. It was also confirmed that high ratings can be more effectively achieved for high priced hotels by increasing the response rate.

An advanced tangential X-ray pinhole camera (TXPC) has been developed for KSTAR by utilizing a 2-D duplex multi-wire proportional counter (MWPC) detector. The KSTAR MWPC employs a 2-D parallel type readout system for high temporal resolution and adopts a duplex type for the capability of electron temperature measurement via the multi-color method. This paper presents the performance test result of the developed MWPC system utilizing a Fe-55 X-ray source. As a preliminary experimental result from the 2012 KSTAR campaign, the clear presentation of sawtooth activities and its frequency change, and 2-D plasma images during the vertical disruption event are given.

A tangential X-ray pinhole camera based on a gas electron multiplier (GEM) detector was installed on KSTAR to study high temperature plasmas emitting X-ray photons in the energy band of 4e15 keV. The camera system consists of a triple-GEM gas chamber with a readout printed circuit board and a pinhole to image the plasma in two dimensions (2-D). The advantages of this tangential camera system include its compactness, high efficiency, energy discrimination in bands, and selectivity of the photon energy range etc. This camera system allows a selection of the viewing area through a remote control of the entire setup. The Philips-Tikhonov algorithm for tangential reconstruction was used to visualize the poloidal cross-sectional images. Phantom tests were performed with synthetic D-shaped plasma images and a comparison with the magnetic equilibrium flux surfaces from the real-time EFIT code obtaining a good agreement between each other. The 2-D X-ray images of the KSTAR plasma were successfully acquired during sawtooth crash, electron cyclotron heating, vertical displacement event, and emissivity from the injected trace Ar impurity.
