Grenville-age orogenic event along the northeastern margin of the Quanji massif, NW China: constraints from ~1.1 Ga migmatite

        Zhouxuan Xiao,Licheng Ma,Wan Jiang,Ran Wang,Yuyan Yao,Jie Cai,Jingyu Lin,Lu Li 한국지질과학협의회 2020 Geosciences Journal Vol.24 No.3

Detailed petrologic, geochemical and geochronological investigation on migmatites provide key information on the tectonic-magmatic history of the Quanji Massif, NW China. The studied migmatites are mainly composed of granitic gneisses, with lenticular refractory residua spread along its foliation. Zircon U-Pb ages of 1129.2 ± 7.4 Ma (1σ, MSWD = 0.34, N = 31) and 1135.1 ± 9.5 Ma (1σ, MSWD = 0.05, N = 22) were determined for the granitic gneiss and refractory residue, respectively. Garnet grains from the refractory residue show no distinctive intra-crystalline zonation, and are rich in Fe and Mg, but poor in Ca and Mn, akin to those from metapelite. Samples from the granitic gneisses have high contents of SiO2 (from 67.92% to 69.89%), K2O (from 3.94% to 5.00%) and A/CNK (1.11–1.17), with LREE enrichment and distinctly negative Eu anomalies (Eu/Eu* = 0.49–0.53) in the chondrite-normalized REE patterns, and significantly negative Nb, Ta, Ti and Sr anomalies in the primitive mantle-normalized spider diagrams. Granitic gneisses samples have consistent Nd isotope compositions with negative εNd(t) values ranging from –1.06 to –6.04, and TDM model ages ranging from 1.83 to 2.23 Ga. These geochemical features suggest that the granitic rocks belong to the S-type granites, which were predominately derived from a late Paleoproterozoic crustal source. The granitic gneiss was probably formed by partial melting of the sediments which had been suffered graunlite-facies metamorphism. The components with low melting points (e.g., felsic minerals) might replace the sediments to form migmatites and migmatitic granites, and thus preserved the refractory residua. Therefore, the late Mesoproterozoic orogenic event is the coeval response of the global Grenvillian orogeny, indicating an important crustal remelting episode in the Quanji Massif.

Synthesis of (Imido)vanadium(V) Complexes Containing 8-(2,6-Dimethylanilide)-5,6,7-trihydroquinoline Ligands: Highly Active Catalyst Precursors for Ethylene Dimerization

        Tang, Xiao-Yan,Igarashi, Atsushi,Sun, Wen-Hua,Inagaki, Akiko,Liu, Jingyu,Zhang, Wenjuan,Li, Yue-Sheng,Nomura, Kotohiro American Chemical Society 2014 Organometallics Vol.33 No.4

<P>A series of (imido)vanadium(V) dichloride complexes containing 8-(2,6-dimethylanilide)-5,6,7-trihydroquinoline ligands of the type V(NR)Cl2[8-(2,6-Me2C6H3)N(C9H10N)] (R = Ad (<B>3</B>), 2-MeC6H4 (<B>4</B>), 2,6-Me2C6H3 (Ar, <B>5</B>)) have been prepared and identified, and their structures have been determined by X-ray crystallographic analysis. The ethylene dimerization catalyst generated from complex <B>3</B> upon treatment with an excess amount of MAO exhibited remarkable catalytic activities (e.g. TOF = 9600000 h–1 (2670 s–1), Al/V = 4000 (molar ratio)), affording 1-butene as the major product (95.0–99.4%). The activities of <B>3</B> and <B>4</B> were higher than those exhibited by the corresponding 2-(anilide)methylpyridine analogues; <B>3</B> showed higher 1-butene selectivity than the others and the activity did not decrease remarkably at 50 °C. Complex <B>5</B> afforded a mixture of polymer and oligomers with low activities, suggesting that a fine tuning of both the imido and the anionic donor ligands plays an essential role in this catalysis.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/orgnd7/2014/orgnd7.2014.33.issue-4/om401119y/production/images/medium/om-2013-01119y_0004.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/om401119y'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>

Time-varying Group Formation With Leader-following Control for Heterogeneous Multi-agent Systems

        Xiangyang Du,Weixun Li,Jingyu Xiao,Zengqiang Chen 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2023 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.21 No.7

This paper studies time-varying group formation control for heterogeneous multi-agent systems (MAS). Two subgroups of heterogeneous MAS consisting of second-order dynamic and Euler-Lagrange (E-L) dynamic agents, three subgroups of heterogeneous MAS consisting of first-order, second-order dynamic and E-L dynamic agents are considered respectively. Firstly, through the assumption of the formation-tracking feasibility condition and the design of the formation compensation vectors in the controller, the time-varying formation control can be transformed into a consensus problem. Then, a distributed controller based on neighbor information is designed and sufficient conditions for time-varying formation control are obtained. The time-varying group formation problem of heterogeneous MAS is analyzed by Lyapunov stability theory and eigenvalue theory. Finally, two simulation results show that the proposed controller can realize the time-varying formation control of heterogeneous group MAS.

Curcumin Alleviates the Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders of Mice In Vivo

        Jing Yu,Wen-hua Xu,Wei Sun,Zhi-li Guo,Xiao-ling Yu 한국식품영양과학회 2017 Journal of medicinal food Vol.20 No.12

Curcumin is a natural polyphenol extracted from the turmeric rhizome, which has a wide range of biological activities, but until now the effects of curcumin on the gastrointestinal peristalsis have not been fully understood. In vivo study, we observed the effects of curcumin on gastric emptying and intestinal propulsion rates of mice in normal state and in delayed state by atropine (ATR) or nitric oxide precursor L-arginine (L-Arg). An in vitro study explored the direct effects of curcumin on the intestinal contractility, but were studied through measuring spontaneous contraction of isolated jejunum of mice. Our results showed that intragastric administration of curcumin (200 mg/kg/day) for 10–20 days significantly improved gastric emptying and intestinal propulsion rates of mice delayed by ATR. Moreover, intragastric administration of curcumin (200 mg/kg/day) for 15 days also significantly improved mice gastric emptying and intestinal propulsion rates delayed by L-Arg. There was no significant effect on normal gastrointestinal propulsion of mice after intragastric administration of curcumin (200 mg/kg/day) for 1–20 days. When normal isolated jejunum of mice were incubated with curcumin in vitro, the amplitude of the spontaneous contractile waves of jejunum was reduced in a concentration-dependent manner. Moreover, curcumin reduced the amplitude of the contractile waves of jejunum in both contracted and relaxed state induced by acetylcholine or ATR individually. Taken together, our results suggest that curcumin has quite different effects on gastrointestinal peristalsis in vivo and in vitro. Moderate dose of curcumin by intragastric administration for more than 10 days can alleviate the functional gastrointestinal disorders of mice, but cannot affect normal gastrointestinal propulsion.
