The Impact of Rural E-commerce on the Common Prosperity of Residents: An Empirical Analysis Based on Micro Data in China

Cheng, Jiayun,Ma, Xingchao 부산대학교 중국연구소 2024 Journal of China Studies Vol.27 No.1

Realizing common prosperity is the ultimate wish of all Chinese people. In recent years, as rural areas have shifted their focus towards digital development, rural industries have embraced e-commerce, effectively harnessing the power of "e-commerce" to propel common prosperity. In China, Zhejiang Province, as a national model area for common prosperity, has provided valuable experience for the whole country by combining digital reform and common prosperity. The development of rural e-commerce has not only significantly increased the income of residents, but also driven the prosperity of the rural economy. However, to promote common prosperity with digital reform, it is not enough to raise residents' material affluence. While pursuing material affluence, we should also pay attention to spiritual affluence. In order to explore the influencing factors and mechanism of rural e-commerce on residents' common prosperity, this paper is based on the micro-sample survey data of 192 Taobao villages in Zhejiang Province, China, and organically combines quantitative research methods, such as multiple regression analysis, heterogeneity test, robustness test, mediation effect model, regulatory effect model, and qualitative methods, such as interview, questionnaire, and empirical generalization, with cross-validation. The results of the study show that: ①rural e-commerce has a significant positive effect on residents' material affluence, spiritual affluence and ecological affluence; ②material affluence and ecological affluence are the main factors that rural e-commerce promotes the transmission path of spiritual affluence; ③entrepreneurship, social capital and financial literacy play a significant positive regulatory role between rural e-commerce and material affluence; ④career identity plays a positive regulatory role and unequal opportunities plays a negative regulatory role between rural e-commerce and spiritual affluence respectively. This research offers valuable insights for future rural development decisions, serving as a valuable reference for other regions' rural development efforts. Moreover, it offers inspiration and a practical path for achieving comprehensive well-being in the new era.

Sampled-data Based Distributed Convex Optimization with Eventtriggered Communication

        Weisheng Chen,Jiayun Liu,Hao Dai 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2016 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.14 No.6

This paper studies the distributed convex optimization problem for multi-agent systems over undirectedand connected networks. Motivated by practical considerations, we propose a new distributed optimization algorithmwith event-triggered communication. The proposed event detection is decentralized, sampled-data and notrequires periodic communications among agents to calculate the threshold. Based on Lyapunov approaches, weshow that the proposed algorithm is asymptotically converge to the unknown optimizer if the design parameters arechosen properly. We also give an upper bound on the convergence rate. Finally, we illustrate the effectiveness ofthe proposed algorithm by a numerical simulation.

      • Research on a New Hybrid Optimization Algorithm based on QPSO and FNN

Meng Liu,Jiayun Zhang,Yazi Wang 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Smart Home Vol.10 No.6

Fuzzy neural network(FNN) is a neural network based on combining the advantages of the fuzzy theory and neural network. It has the characteristics of dealing with the non-linear and fuzziness and so on. Particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm is a population-based search algorithm by simulating the social behavior of birds within a flock. So the quantum PSO(QPSO) algorithm is proposed for optimizing the parameters of FNN in order to construct a new hybrid optimization(QPSO-FNN) algorithm in this paper. In the proposed QPSO-FNN algorithm, the quantum theory is used to improve the PSO algorithm, then the global optimization ability of QPSO algorithm is optimize the parameters of FNN model by putting these parameters in the particle encoding. The found optimal values are regarded as the parameters of FNN model to obtain the final QPSO-FNN method. Finally, the QPSO-FNN algorithm is used to solve the complex problem, the experimental results show that the QPSO-FNN algorithm takes on the shorter response time and higher solving accuracy.

Polymer particles filled with multiple colloidal silica via <i>in situ</i> sol-gel process and their thermal property

        Byun, Hongsik,Hu, Jiayun,Pakawanit, Phakkhananan,Srisombat, Laongnuan,Kim, Jun-Hyun IOP 2017 Nanotechnology Vol.28 No.2

<P>The <I>in situ</I> formation of dielectric silica (SiO2) particles was carried out in the presence of temperature-responsive poly(<I>N</I>-isopropylacrylamide) particles. Unlike the typical sol-gel method used to prepare various SiO2 particles, the highly uniform growth of SiO2 particles was achieved within the cross-linked polymer particles (i.e., the polymer particles were filled with the SiO2 particles) simply by utilizing interfacial interactions, including the van der Waals attractive force and hydrogen bonding in nanoscale environments. The structural and morphological features as well as the thermal behaviors of these composites were thoroughly examined by electron microscopes, dynamic light scattering, and thermal analyzers. In particular, the thermal properties of these composites were completely different from the bare polymer, SiO2 particles, and their mixtures, which clearly suggested the successful incorporation of multiple SiO2 particles within the cross-linked polymer particles. Similarly, titanium oxide (TiO2) particles were easily embedded within the polymer particle template which exhibited improved overall properties. As a whole, understanding <I>in situ</I> formation of nanoscale inorganic particles within polymer particle templates can allow for designing novel composite materials possessing enhanced chemical and physical properties.</P>

Association analysis of the SNP (rs345476947) in the FUT2 gene with the production and reproductive traits in pigs

        Haifei Wang,Sen Wu,Jiayun Wu,Shouyong Sun,Shenglong Wu,Wen Bin Bao 한국유전학회 2018 Genes & Genomics Vol.40 No.2

The FUT2 gene was considered as an important candidate for pathogenic infections, while the potential associations between this gene and the production and reproductive traits of pigs have not been explored. In this study, we detected the genetic variants of porcine FUT2 gene and analyzed the associations of the polymorphisms with FUT2 mRNA expression and production and reproductive traits (age at 100 kg, backfat thickness at 100 kg, eye muscle thickness, the number of newborn piglets, the number of weaned piglets, and birth weight) in 100 Large White sows. One single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) (rs345476947, C→T) in the intron of FUT2 and three genotypes (TT, CT and CC) were determined. Association analysis revealed significant associations between this SNP with the number of newborn piglets and weaned piglets. Furthermore, individuals with the TT genotype had significantly higher numbers of newborn piglets and weaned piglets than those with the CC genotype (P < 0.05). Quantitative PCR analysis showed that FUT2 expression in individuals with CC genotype was significantly higher than those with TT and CT genotypes in the liver and lymph gland (P < 0.05) and higher than that of CT in the spleen, kidney, and duodenum (P < 0.05). These findings indicated that the TT genotype may be a favorable genotype for the reproductive traits of pigs. Our study revealed the genetic variants of the FUT2 gene and identified a promising candidate SNP (rs345476947) associated with the reproductive traits, which has the potential to be applied in selective breeding of pigs.

      • Sunlight-Induced Synthesis of Various Gold Nanoparticles and Their Heterogeneous Catalytic Properties on a Paper-Based Substrate

        Kim, Jun-Hyun,Twaddle, Katrina M.,Hu, Jiayun,Byun, Hongsik American Chemical Society 2014 ACS APPLIED MATERIALS & INTERFACES Vol.6 No.14

<P>This work describes the light-induced preparation of various gold nanoparticles and demonstrates their possible use as efficient photothermal heating materials and practical heterogeneous catalysts under the irradiation of a solar-based light after being loaded onto a paper-based substrate. The synthesis of gold nanoparticles was accomplished under the irradiation of daily sunlight and a solar-simulated light with an intensity that was closely adjusted to the one-sun condition. Tunable sizes of gold nanoparticles were systematically controlled by the ratio of trisodium citrate and gold chloride ions, particularly with the solar-simulated light source. The size distribution and absorption properties of the resulting nanoparticles were thoroughly characterized by scanning electron microscope, dynamic light scattering, and UV–visible spectroscopy. The broad-band solar-based light sources were found to be efficient external stimuli to induce/enhance the formation of various gold nanoparticles at room temperature. As gold nanoparticles typically exhibit efficient light-induced heating properties due to their strong absorption bands, these nanoparticles were physically embedded on a filter paper to examine their photothermal heating properties and heterogeneous catalytic activity in the reduction of 4-nitrophenol under the irradiation of the solar-simulated light. As expected, the gold-loaded filter papers exhibited a systematic increase of temperature as a function of the gold nanoparticle concentration and enhanced catalytic property under the irradiation of the light, presumably caused by the photothermally induced heating property of the loaded gold nanoparticles. Overall, solar-based light sources can offer dual functions for the synthesis and application of metal nanoparticles possessing strong absorption bands.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/aamick/2014/aamick.2014.6.issue-14/am503745w/production/images/medium/am-2014-03745w_0009.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/am503745w'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>
