Global motion by the translation and rotation of camera affects all over the frame in video sequences. With this kind of video sequences, it is impossible to extract exact video object using change detection technique and to obtain high compression ration due to large motion vectors. This problem can be resolved when the global motion compensated video sequences are used. The existing camera motion estimation methods for global motion compensation have a large amount of computations. In this paper, we propose a simple global motion estimation algorithm that contains no repetition. The algorithm uses information of symmetric points contained in the frame of the video sequence. The determining equations to distinguish regions from foreground are also presented. Using the MPEG test sequences we performed experiments and the results are included in the last part. The real-time processing capability of the proposed technique can be applicable to many MPEG-4 related area.

Superscalar processor can increase throughput by executing more than one instruction per clock cycle. Speculative execution is essential to achieve higher performance in a superscalar architecture, hence it causes imprecise interrupt by out-of-order completion and branch misprediction; processor state is inconsistent with that of a sequential architectural model. In this paper, we design a precise interrupt mechanism with reorder buffer for the superscalar processor of degree 2 and verify its correctness by simulation with VHDL.

In this paper, we propose the improved watershed algorithm that resolves the oversegmentation problem shown in the previous watershed algorithm and its modifications when the spatial video segmentation is performed. The principal idea of the proposed algorithm is merging the shallow catchment basin whose depth is less than a given threshold into the deeper one during flooding step. In the flooding process, the growth of the existing catchment basins and the extraction of newly flooded ones are accomplished. We present the experimental results using several MPEG test sequences in the last part of the paper. As a consequence, the proposed algorithm shows good segmentation results according to the thresholds applied by adding very small amount of calculations.
화소 간축과 블록의 MAD를 이용한 고속 적응 블록 정합 기법

We propose a fast block matching technique that adaptively limits searching depth using the value of MAD and the adjustment of the number of searching points by pixel decimation when estimating motions in the field of video compression. The underlying schemes of the proposed technique are the three step searching(TSS) scheme, pixel decimation, and the MAD as block matching criterion. In block matching schemes, the picture quality is proportional to the number of searching points that are used in estimating block motions. It also enhances the quality by increasing the points to be searched, because the probability of falling into the local minima can be decreased compared to the TSS scheme. The increasing computational complexity, proportional to the increased searching points, is reduced by introducing the pixel decimation method. Moreover, we can reduce the amount of computation by determining the search depth using the block MAD. With the proposed algorithm, we performed a lot of simulation for the various MPEG video data. As a consequence, it can improve the picture quality while reducing the amount of computation involved comparing to the TSS scheme.

Purpose: In this study, the actual situation of domestic firms vulnerable to industrial security competence will be discussed. And accordingly be discussed for effective response measures. Methods: Using a structured questionnaire by mail, fax, e-mail and fill method was used respondents. By the end of ``10 R&D Center, which holds 15,247 companies(population) among the 95% level of confidence,tolerance ±3% p-level corporate type, sector, region extraction method stratified multi-level companies were investigated through the final 1529. Results: The average level of industrial security capabilities 43.8%(out of 100) is very weak, so urgent and positive response measures also need to be investigated sought. Conclusion: we propose the effective management framework and improvement plans to prevent illegal industrial leakage are to be made.
